Luxurious, inviting, and ideal for 2 guests, On the River is a charming pet-friendly, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin rental in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Not far from downtown attractions, shops, and eateries, you'll be near all the fun! Plus, you'll be right on the river's edge, so you can enjoy the flowing water while soaking in the hot tub or sipping wine in the rockers on the screened deck or lounging in the log seating in the grassy space.

Inside, the living room is warm and inviting and features a stone (gas) fireplace, an antler chandelier, cozy furnishings, a big screen TV and DVD player, and a cushioned reading nook with a small library. Craving a bite to eat or something refreshing to drink? Head to the retro-chic kitchen that's fully equipped with everything you need to prep and serve meals throughout your stay in the Smokies. There's even a romantic dining space with a table for 2. It also has a new induction stove!

*Induction stove requires stainless steel or cast iron for cooking. If bringing your own cookware, please pack accordingly.

Ready to snuggle with your partner? First, draw a hot bubble bath in the copper soaking tub or take a relaxing rain shower. Next, slip into your favorite jammies and curl up in the king-size bed together. You can switch on the lamps or TV and stay up for a while if you like. Additional amenities at this Gatlinburg river cabin include free Wi-Fi, a charcoal grill, a washer and dryer, a flat and paved driveway with parking for 3 vehicles, and keyless entry. This little cottage was absolutely perfect! Decorated very thoughtfully and updated. We especially loved the reading book, cooper bathtub and hot tub. We saw bears nearly every day. The little river behind was so beautiful and peaceful. We would happily stay again.

The bathroom floor in front of the shower still needs fixed. We would have to step over it because it was so soft we were afraid that we might go through the floor. It was also hard for us to enjoy the living room because the fumes from the fireplace were pretty strong.

The issue with the bathroom floor being soft and unsafe is absolutely unacceptable, and we regret that this was not properly resolved before your stay. No guest should ever feel worried about their safety while simply using the bathroom. We are also very sorry to hear that the fireplace fumes made it difficult to enjoy the living room, as that should have been a cozy and relaxing space for you. We take both of these concerns very seriously and are addressing them with our maintenance team immediately to ensure they are fully corrected. First time in Gatlinburg

Great Cozy Cabin

The property was perfect for my wife and I. I don't believe there would be a lot of room for taking the kids or another couple, but for a weekend getaway for the two of us, it was perfect.

Great Honeymoon!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! It was less than a 10 minute walk to downtown but felt like we were far away. They had an adorable guestbook where everyone wrote their experience and where they went, it really helped us decide what to do! We will be staying here again we loved it!

Most relaxing ever. We honeymooned in this same house 30 years ago. My wife and I both had major health issues this year and lost our beloved Jack Russell at 15 years old. This place was medicine to our soul. God bless Cabins for you for the renovation and rental. This fulfilled us.

Would stay there every time.

Easy walking distance to the shops. Close grocery store. Very quite area and feels secluded even with the cabins packed in. Some tile issues in bathroom but did not feel they were as bad as other comments made them seem. We would stay there everytime without hesitation.

Relaxing Home-away-from-home Gem

Perfect little creek-side nook within walking distance to everything, but far enough away to feel remote. Window seat was one of our favorite spots to lie on and listen to the rushing creek. Decor was perfect and homey and the bible verse signs meant so much to us- a reminder of God’s love and beauty! Will definitely return!

This is our 2nd stay at this cabin. Very comfortable and close to Gatlinburg activities. We would rate it 5 stars but was lacking in in the basic amenities. No coffee, salt & pepper, the ice maker wasn't working and no toiletries. The cabin could use some maintenance; tile floor in the bathroom was broken, toilet was loose, the window shade in the utility room was still missing and the trash can lid in the kitchen wasn't working. The outside coukd use some TLC as well.

Excellent location!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful weekend enjoying your property. It was clean and had everything we needed. Being able to walk to downtown Gatlinburg was perfect so that we didn’t have to deal with traffic or trying to find parking. We will definitely rent this property again!

Great location & adorable house

We absolutely loved this place. The only bad things I can say is that the tile on the bathroom floor is cracked pretty badly near the bedroom door & could easily cut someone. Also the toilet seat is loose. Otherwise will definitely stay here again. Absolutely adorable!

Overall the stay was very nice and location was great. The view of the river is beautiful. There were some minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed inside and outside.

Cooked out first night. Went out the rest except lunch that we had sandwiches at house. Place was great will stay again. Need to get tile floor in shower fixed though.
