As you enter the community, you will notice the garden green courtyard for residential enjoyment. This private community has MANY amenities that won't leave you disappointed. When you enter your apartment home you will first notice that the living room is spacious spread out providing access to both the upstairs and kitchen. To the direct front of you is where the kitchen is located and equipped with a stove and microwave. This kitchen also comes with a large amount of cabinetry. Adjacent to the kitchen is the downstairs restroom which is equipped with a toilet, sink, and mirror. As you venture upstairs, you will notice the bedrooms and full service bathroom. Both bedrooms are charming with optimal natural lighting and spacious closet space that will not disappoint. Comes equipped with washer/dryer.

Dogs and cats okay with additional $500 deposit and $75 pet rent per month.

Amazing stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. While in the process of moving out of town we wanted my family to feel at home and we did just that at this property. Thank you to our host for everything.

On the road in Bako

This apartment worked well for my project in Bakersfield. It is secure which beats many of the hotels in the area. Full kitchen, roomy enough for a guest. Quiet, friendly neighbors.

Beautiful area. Great stay in a gated community. Clean high end building with private parking and entrance. True delight for a medical professional like myself to have a perfect place to stay between my shifts. Owner took care of every detail and made my life easy. Cannot wait to visit again!

Find somewhere else to stay

As the other reviews have mentioned this place was filthy. Additionally the house smelled of heavily of marijuana. The pillows were moldy. The bedding was dirty. i contacted the host and mentioned the lack of cleanliness. The host acted surprised by the place being dirty. Please do yourself a favor and choose a different place.

Working in Bako

Security is worth a lot and this place is all about security. It is a gated apartment complex, and has two nice pools but also lots of kids. Take your swim early. Apartment is not decorated for vacationers but is good for a work stay. No frills, but what is needed is there. No vacuum or ironing board but hey, who needs 'em? Manager is very responsive if anything is needed.

Poor communication from property owner

Probably the worst at responding to renters. She doesn’t follow up and I personally don’t think she cares to. This is the second time I have rented this unit and I will go elsewhere in future.

unit unclean upon arrival bad communication with owner

Upon arrival it appeared that the cleaning service got pulled away before finishing the job. Bedding was in washer (not started) from previous occupants. No laundry detergent at unit so I had to go buy some just to do laundry so I could make the beds (myself). Swapped and had to clean toilets. Well I could go on and on but I won’t. Property manager is not responsive at all. Complete waist of time trying to contact her during your stay.

The place was dirty when I got there, I had to buy a broom, mop, silverware (no spoons), no floor mats, no blow dryer. Property manager didn't meet me, so I had to figure out how to get into a gated community (front office was confused). Internet didn't work for a week and a half, and had lighting issues with a fan, hall (stairs) and bedroom lights. Next to a cow farm the places smelled really bad, all the time! Too bad apartment couldn't been better kept up and in different location. I never give bad reviews and I'm sorry I had to this time, wasn't a good experience.

It was ok just on

We had trouble getting into the place. Apparently, the code was changed and the manager forgot to tell us. So the 2 1/2 hours thinking we had the wrong place trying the code over and over. Driving around the complex looking for the right places finally figuring out it was the right place. The sheets on one bedroom were dirty so we washed them again. We had to go looking for extra towels finding them in the dryer. Then the code was messed up to get in the gate never figured that out. But we used the key card. Thank God we had that. My advice is if you stay here make sure ahead that you have ALL the right codes. That the manager gives your car information to the desk so you don’t get towed.

Incompetent Property Manager

We booked in Feb for a 2 week stay to visit family. I reached out to property manager Melinda a week prior to stay and asked a few questions. Her response to the questions was yes. On day of arrival we checked in and let her know we were early. She called me claiming she did not book the proper to me. She was so confused and almost had me confused. She the. realized she was incorrect. While on the phone I told her the cable and internet was not working and asked how to get access to the pool. She said she will provide information but didn’t until 6 days later! By that time I had figured it out. The apartment was not furnished for living. There was a couch, table, beds and kitchens appliances. There was no coffee maker, no rugs, no mop for tile floor, no hangers, iron for clothes etc. She bought a coffee maker and TV for family room, she told me the property was robbed. To use the pool, you have to reserve online through the apartment website and security guard will unlock gate to let you in. If I knew this would be the case, I would have rented a home instead. Melinda was a terrible communicator and seem to not know anything about the property.

Worst stay

Unfortunately this wasn’t the greatest stay. When we arrived the key was missing and Melinda told us cleaning people took it and they were on the way.. I asked how long would it be till they arrived all she said was “they’re on the way” .. but then the key was actually lost and they had to rekey it .. we had been up since 3am for our flights and wanted rest and her attitude was not giving reassurance nor did she say sorry for the inconvenience until my husband called and was upset at her responses .. then the wifi wasn’t working and I asked what was going on and finally fixed after a day .. she told me she never had this much issue with the rental like if I was purposely trying to find issues with the place. It wasn’t our fault the key was lost by her cleaning people or that the wifi wasn’t working.. if you stay here make sure you buy everything you need toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, bath floor mat, detergent. While we were staying there a guy was taking pictures of little kids in the park across the apartment building so stay with your babies at all times.

This property was perfect for us. It was quiet and big enough for 7. Upon entering, it was clean, though we did notice that there were scuffs on furniture and there was a noodle stuck to ceiling that we removed. Thank you again for allowing us to stay.
