Great house with well appointed and large bedrooms. Everything was clean and in good condition. We had an issue with hot water that they fixed quickly. Staff was great - Cooke breakfast for us every morning. Walk to the beach is easy. Itā€™s the neighborhood beach (Ballenas) which is more local as opposed to more touristy Bonita. Bonita is a 20 minute drive even though it looks super close on the map. Would stay here again!

This property sits atop a beautiful mountain in Las Terrenas with absolutely stunning views (10/10). Itā€™s only a quick 10-minute walk to the beach, where you can relax on lounge chairs and have drinks and food brought to you all day. Taxi rides into town are inexpensive, but I recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here.The maid service and in-house chef were incredible. We enjoyed a variety of delicious meals multiple times a day. The area is gated and has several security guards throughout the development, which added an extra sense of safety.The only downsides were that the outdoor area was extremely slippery since itā€™s fully tiled, and thereā€™s no air conditioning in the main living area of the house (although each bedroom does have its own AC, which was great).Overall, our stay was amazing, and I would definitely do it again!

Magnifique villa avec une vue exceptionnelle

La maison est encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos. Les grandes portes vitrĆ©es permettent d'ouvrir tout grand la piĆØce de vie sur la mer, la piscine et les collines environnantes. La cuisine ouverte et conviviale, permet Ć  tout le monde de se rassembler. Il y a beaucoup d'intimitĆ© entre les chambres et plusieurs espaces pour se dĆ©tendre. La suite du haut avec sa piscine privĆ©e est Ć  couper le souffle. On peut y dormir Ć  la fraĆ®cheur de l'air climatisĆ© ou encore mieux avec la porte ouverte avec le vent du large et le bruit des vagues. Environnement sĆ©curitaire et paisible. Nous n'avions pas la sensation d'ĆŖtre dans une enclave touristique Ć  outrance, il y avait de l'authenticitĆ© notamment grĆ¢ce Ć  Carmen. Carmen assure un service d'entretien et de cuisine sur demande impeccable. Nous avons eu recours Ć  ses services pour nous prĆ©parer trois dĆ©licieux repas du soir (demandez le poisson grillĆ© sauce coco!) MĆŖme si la maison est perchĆ©e en hauteur, il n'est pas si difficile d'atteindre la plage par un escalier qui serait toutefois Ć  dĆ©conseiller pour les gens qui ont plus de difficultĆ© de mobilitĆ©. Jacques, le gestionnaire de la propriĆ©tĆ© est avenant et a rĆ©pondu promptement Ć  nos questions, organisĆ© nos transports et est allĆ© faire des courses pour nous au village ce qui fut bien pratique. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut en ville, il faut toutefois s'y dĆ©placer en taxi, c'est une bonne heure de marche. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hĆ©sitation.

Unexpected beauty

The property is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, including Carmen. Carmen the housekeeper comes daily and is so accommodating and such a good cook. We had her make breakfast and sometimes lunch and loved the authentic Dominican fare. She'll run to the store for you and is super helpful and always smiling. Views are spectacular, super short walk thru property to the beach, but renting a side-by-side or Quad is easy and nearby also. The beaches are the most beautiful we've ever seen and we've been all over. Randy the host was very helpful in arranging rides and even ordered a taxi for us when we had to make a trip to the ER late at night. Just can't say enough about this place - we will be back!

Impressionnante villas

SĆ©jour du 21 au 28 janvier 2024, nous avons adorĆ© la Villas JĆ©rĆ“me. Cette propriĆ©tĆ© est immense et trĆØs bien localisĆ©, 7-8 minutes de marches jusquā€™Ć  la plage. Carmen nous a cuisinĆ© nos dĆ©jeuner et souper alors que nous avons dĆ©cidĆ© de dĆ®ner Ć  la plage dans de petits restos. Elle a Ć©galement fait nos commissions pour la nourriture et les boissons alcoolisĆ©es. Elle ramĆØne la facture et nous lui donnons le montant inscrit, trĆØs plaisant comme service. La plage est exceptionnel, la nourriture sur la plage est excellente. La nourriture et les boissons alcoolisĆ©es sont au mĆŖme prix quā€™au QuĆ©bec , aucune Ć©conomie Ć  faire de ce cĆ“tĆ©. Cā€™Ć©tait une semaine mĆ©morable avec 4 enfants entre 4 et 8 ans, nous avons tous apprĆ©ciĆ© nos vacances.

It is very RARE for me to leave a review (has to be phenomenal service) the pictures do not do justices. This house is over the top. As stated in most reviews Carmen makes the stay more pleasant. We are planning to go back.

Stunning home

We had a wonderfull time at the home .Didn't even know that Carmin the housekeeper would be there to get our groceries and make breakfast for us. Wonderfull breeze and views. Just realize it is not right on the beach and takes a 10 minute walk which is good exercise.

Relax and enjoy the views

The pictures of this place is exactly what this home and outdoor space looks like. The views of the ocean and mountains are beautiful. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom has a bathroom however getting warm or hot water was not guaranteed. The housekeeper, Carmen was a necessity. The kitchen indoors needs some updating but Carmen is a pro and handles the kitchen with ease and served amazing meals with lots of love and laughs. Also recommend chef Daniel for a special dinner and cocktails. Issues that popped up (clogged drain, lost power) was handled with rental agent in a reasonable time. The walk to the beach is down some steep stairs but safe. Having the house set so high up provides the spectacular views. We enjoyed the pools everyday. If you are looking to relax and enjoy time with friends and family this is a perfect space.

Amazing place--gorgeous location!

Villa Jerome was a great spot for our group of four couples (with a 2-year-old and a nanny), just 40 minutes from Samana El Catey airport, the location was convenient (about a 5-minute walk to the western end of Playa las Ballenas), but secluded enough and in a gated/guarded community. The villa was gorgeous and well-appointed, but Carmen, the maid, was the best, and we hired her to cook several meals for us.

Lovely trip

Loved everything about the trip and location. The home was great and Carmen made the experience that much better. Everyone made us feel like family and we cannot wait to come back. The beach was a little bit of a walk up some stairs but it was very much manageable. If anyone in your group cannot manage stairs Iā€™d recommend renting atvs. The pools were clean and refreshing. Jacques was also helpful and easily accessible.

Amazing Villa Jerome !!!

Paradise is the correct word that sums up our time here & will be your experience as well at this beautiful home. Here, you cannot go wrong. We were very happy with our entire stay & pleasantly surprised. This home is so unassuming huge. It allows you to be able to get away if you want but also come together comfortably. 1. We will like to THANK the owners for renting out their absolutely wonderful home to us. It is absolutely stunning & we had such an amazing time. 2. 2nd level is the common areas that come with total unobstructed views of the beach & the surrounding areas which are simply OUTSTANDING! Allows for views of the colorful sunrises & sunsets which are beautiful. This level has floor to ceiling pocket doors that allow you to bring the outside inside. It also allows for air cross breezes & is well ventilated. There are powerful & sturdy ceiling fans that you control just how much power of the air flow you want. On this level is the first pool. Early morning dips were wonderful & so refreshing. The kitchen was fully stocked for us so we could cook comfortably if desired. 3. The master suite located on the 3rd level has a fabulous view & a private pool with bar seating. The entire suite has floor to ceiling pocket doors that bring the entire outside inside. Your choice to leave the doors & window open or closed. Choose to turn on the A/C unit and or the ceiling fan. Many days, I had my coffee while watching the beautiful sunrise on the master suite outside landing (which is huge). Waking up to the unobstructed sunrise views or watching the sunset while listening to the birds singing their songs was so relaxing. 4. 3rd level are the rest of the bedrooms which are all large & A/C & individual. Water pressure was great & we all had plenty of hot water whenever we turned on the faucets. 5. Lower level also gave us access to the washer & dryer which was so convenient. The area was large with plenty of space to work. 6. Plenty of occasions, we chose to leisurely walk down to the beach & local restaurants. Met the locals, had so much fun & found great local fare. Seen some of the other local residences but wouldn't trade our rental. Loved being in Las Terrenas which was beautiful & made us feel safe but never had a problem in or out. 7. Entire team available, friendly & always ready assist. Lastly, we had an amazing stay at an amazing home. So relaxing & beautiful. Really can't truly express how great of a time we had.

Much Needed Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The location was amazing, and the pictures that the owner posted doesn't do this place any justice. The pool was awesome. We had a private chef (Waraira)for breakfast and dinner, every meal prepared was great.

Phenomenal experience

This stay was absolutely everything that my wife and I could dream of. The house was stunning! The views were breathtaking and we were accommodated with everything we needed during our stay. We also enjoyed the services of the private chef and housekeeper. We only recommend not to use the driving service provided due the fact that the experience with the particular driver we had was not very professional.

The house has a great view of the ocean, plenty of space for 12 people.

The checkin was easy. Our flight was a little early but the house was ready for us. Very big bedrooms all with air conditioning. Edouardo was excellent with supporting all of our asks. Carmen was very nice. One blip with the propane for bbq was empty but that was quickly rectified. The walk to the beach is 5 min. Recommend the vehicle you rent has decent height off the ground - many large speed bumps. We will be sure to stay at this home again. Las Terranes has a lot of nice beaches and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful vacation home on Las Terrenas

It was everything we expected it to be and more. House manager was very responsive and helpful. The house was beautiful and spacious. We had all the help we needed and had a wonderful adventure in Las Terrenas!!!

Absolutely Beautiful

The pictures do not do this property justice. The views are absolutely Breathtaking. It is located about a 10min walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas , Playa Las ballenas. The house itself is gorgeous. We were a family of 12. Rooms were good. We had a minor glitch when the lights went out one evening for a couple of hours leaving us without hot water. Only other thing that may not please some ppl is that you have to pay electricity usage at the end of your stay. We stayed there 5 days and it was $120 US dollars which I thought was a little high but we were 12 and it's a huge house so I don't know. The cook Carmen was amazing. I will definitely keep this property in my return list!

Great trip

This house was very nice a lot of space for my big family everyone was comfortable.me Jacques gave me al the information on check in and the service from Ms. Carmen was excellent she made me feel at home.very sweet lady....the view was wonderful .nothing like that. breast taken and very secure..i will definitely come back.dennys Miller
