Detached holiday home in a quiet but central location. Enjoy the large, enclosed garden that belongs to the house. Only you use this 1. 000sqm.

Enjoy relaxing days in a beautiful landscape - or enjoy the good connection for shopping tours in the middle of NRW.


Escheln is off the main road and has no through traffic. Just steps away you can start your trip into nature. The house has 90m² of living space and can accommodate 2 to max. 3 guests. Is split detached holiday home in kitchen / bathroom / living room / bedroom and a further living space. A double bed with two single mattresses (0,9x2,0m), a bed of 1,40 width.
The bathroom and the kitchen are modern.
The kitchen is very well equipped.

The house is heated with a pellet stove. Enjoy cozy evenings in the winter months with a view of the flames.
The pellet stove is fully automatic. On your arrival, the stove is already filled during the winter months and during the transitional period.

Whether times fast snack or a big menu, the kitchen is fully equipped. Dishes, glasses, pots and cutlery are plentiful. Detergent and dry towels are provided. Toaster, coffee maker and blender + Sanseo included.
And after the menu is then responsible for the washing machine. A washing machine for small laundry is also available in between.

The living room is furnished with a large dining table and cozy wingback chairs and a comfortable couch.
Here you can enjoy a hearty breakfast with view of the garden. Experience entertainment in friendly company. Or use the time to browse through the comfortable armchairs. A selection of current novels is ready for you.

You can cuddle and sleep well in the two bedrooms.

The large double bed in the first bedroom is 1.80 mx 2.00 m. The XXL blankets of 1.50 x 2.00 m duvets are allergy friendly from synthetic fibers. On your arrival, the beds are already made ready.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Towels and hair dryer are ready for you.

In the house there are different games.
TV, DVD player, CD radio and Wi-Fi. (wifi) are available.

From the dining area it goes into the large garden. Barbecue and garden furniture are available.
Two bicycles can be used free of charge.

The garden is fenced. Only you use this garden during the stay. You park your car right outside the front door.

Super Umgebung zum Spazierengehen

Freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Der Garten ist eine Wucht - mit Hunden allemal. Alles zufriedenstellend und empfehlenswert.

Perfekt

Obwohl es eine sehr kurzfristige Buchung war lief alles reibungslos. Frau Richter hat sehr schnell die Buchung bestätigt. Check in lief trotz später Anreise hervorragend. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und sehr herzlich eingerichtet und Frau Richter war stets bemüht es uns sehr angenehm zu machen. Bei Anreise brannte der Ofen und Kerzen waren an. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Tolles Ferienhaus im Grünen

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist hell und sauber, der Garten groß und gepflegt. Die Küchenausstattung hat uns begeistert. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍

Wohlfühltage in Escheln

Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat mit vielen Extras unseren Urlaub versüßt. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, erste Getränke waren inclusive sowie eine super Ausstattung. Wir sind angekommen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die ruhige Lage, das zum Ferienhaus dazu gehörende Gartengrundstück sowie die feundliche Vermieterin haben wir als außerordentlich angenehm empfunden. Die gute Lage des Objektes war für uns günstiger Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Aktivitäten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

This is it - look no further

We had a smooth arrival and departure. The owner is very nice and always available for questions. The house has everything - just bring your groceries. After traveling Germany for a week we relaxed and spent time in the area. Can't say enough about the house, being able to relax in the garden and all it has to offer. Everything was very clean and well organized. We know we will be back and use the bikes and do more walking and hiking in the area.

Schönes sauberes gepflegtes Haus mit tollem Grundstück. Bei Problemen sind die Vermieter sofort ansprechbar. Das Grundstück ist super und aufgrund der kompletten Umzäunung können die Hunde dort gut frei laufen.

Wunderschönes Häuschen im Grünen

Dieses schöne Haus steht am Rande des Ruhrgebietes, Nähe der holländischen Grenze, mitten im Grünen. Von dort sind alle Großstädte am Niederrhein schnell zu erreichen und man hat trotzalledem Natur gleich vor der Haustür. Das Haus ist Top ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts . Im großen eingezäunten Garten konnte unsere Hündin frei laufen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Dieses Haus ist wirklich sehr,sehr gut👍Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es gibt einfach alles. Nicht nur Toaster und Eierkocher....alles🤗Wir können es zu 100 Prozent weiter empfehlen.Der Garten... ein Hundeparadies. Im Sommer auch bestimmt für uns. Gartenmöbel , Sonnenschirm..Die Ausstattung ist super. Ich denke wir kommen noch einmal wieder. Die Vermieterin auch super nett. Hab ich erwähnt das es Geschirrtücher, Handtücher, Bettwäsche..etc. gab.Es fehlt an nichts.Liebe Grüße , Annette, Jörg und Olivia🐶

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, ideal für Urlaub mit Hund.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und alles top. Sehr nette Vermieter. Für den Hund war auch bestens vorgesorgt, sowas hab ich vorher noch nie gehabt. Hier kann man einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbringen, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit.

Super Ferienhaus!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, sehr sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Grundstück hat uns gefallen und die himmlische Ruhe auch. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, vielen Dank nochmal für die Leckerei und frischen Blumen!

Sehr schönes Haus. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen am Niederrhein und Ruhrgebiet genutzt. Der Ort eignet sich aber auch Bestens für einige erholsame Tage. Super sympathische Vermieterin Das Haus ist sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattet. Es hat vollkommen meinen Erwartungen entsprochen.

Ein Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben mit unserem Hund ein wunderschönes Wochenende im Haus Otto verbracht. Das Ferienhaus war das bislang am besten ausgestattete Haus, das wir je gemietet haben. Es fehlte wirklich an gar nichts, sogar an unseren Hund war gedacht (Leckerchen im Fressnapf, dicke Hundedecke). In dem großen, eingezäunten Garten haben wir gerne auf einem der vielen Sitzplätze gesessen und die Ruhe genossen. Das Vermieterpaar war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus kann also uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.

Gelungenes zweites Schwesterntreffen in Haus Otto

Auch in diesem Jahr waren wir vier Schwestern, aus verschiedenen Ecken Europas, wieder zusammen im Ferienhaus Otto, anlässlich unseres diesjährigen Schwesterntreffens (inklusive einer 10-jährigen Enkelin bzw. Grossnichte + Rhodesian Ridgeback "Willi"). Unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Haus Otto war wieder wunderbar und wird uns, genau wie im letzten Jahr, unvergesslich bleiben. Alles war - wie immer - perfekt und unsere Gastgeber Frau Krause und Herr Raths haben sich wieder rührend um uns gekümmert und uns herzlich und ganz persönlich betreut, was uns besonders gut getan hat. Es war ein einmaliges zweiwöchiges Familientreffen und wir hoffen, im nächsten Jahr noch ein paar Tage drauflegen zu können. Noch einmal ein ganz grosses Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeber! Es war wieder toll! Liebe Grüsse von den St.-Schwestern (aus Moers, Gummersbach, Málaga und Gran Canaria)

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

This house is absolutely charming. All rooms are well-proportioned and light and airy. Everything is equipped to the highest of standards and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well kitted out with dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee machine & loads of crockery & cutlery. Outside is a large garden and I loved the fact that there were chairs and tables on every side so you could always sit in the sun. We used the large bedroom which had ample storage and a really comfortable bed.There is also a large second bedroom which was very pleasant and had two folders full of information about the area which were very well organised . The bathroom was very spacious with a great shower and again, immaculately clean. We made use of the bikes and although we were only at Haus Otto for a few days we realised what a lovely, friendly area it is. We walked to St. Hubert to eat in the restaurants in the evenings & especially enjoyed Fellini's & Il Carretto, both Italian. Il Carretto in particular was very friendly and helped us out (via the internet!) with the menu when our knowledge of German failed us. There is a good Edeka supermarket in the same town and other larger ones a little further afield, but not far if using the car. The town had a couple of cafes and there are lots of other lovely places to visit for coffee and cake. Kempen is a good place to visit with a pedestrianised centre and plenty of shops and cafes. Silke was an excellent host - friendly , helpful and she speaks very good English. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone - kids would be very happy there and safe to run and play in the garden as it is completely enclosed. Our stay was too short and we will definitely return in the future. Many thanks Silke for a wonderful stay.

Wiederholungstäter

Wow, wir sind zu "Wiederholungstätern" geworden (Waren im Juni 2015 für eine Woche dort). Alles wieder super. Als die Kaffeemaschine gestreikt hatte, sofort Ersatz. Dies war auch nur eine Kleinigkeit. Alles bestens, tolle Vermieter, wir kommen im nächsten Jahr bestimmt wieder.

Unvergessliches "Schwesterntreffen" in Haus Otto

Unser diesjähriges Schwesterntreffen (wir vier sind in Europa "verstreut", zwei leben in Deutschland und zwei in Spanien) hat im Ferienhaus Otto stattgefunden und ist uns unvergesslich geblieben. Unser Feriendomizil war perfekt, bis aufs kleinste Detail eingerichtet und ausgestattet und in einemTop-Zustand. Die Lage ist unvergleichlich schön, direkt in der Natur, von Bauernhöfen und Pferdeweiden umgeben. St. Hubert und Kempen sind ganz in der Nähe und schnell zu erreichen, also kann man auch shoppen oder nett essen gehen, wenn man möchte. Die Vermieter, Frau Krause und Herr Raths, haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert und uns praktisch jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Diese persönliche und doch diskrete Betreuung hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Und dass wir Willi, den Rhodesian Ridgeback einer der Schwestern, dabei haben konnten, war besonders schön. Wir können das Ferienhaus Otto mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und planen sogar schon wieder das nächste "Schwesterntreffen" im kommenden Jahr, natürlich wieder im Haus Otto! Danke nochmals an die Vermieter für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Auch im Namen meiner anderen Schwestern, Sabine St.
