Also tour Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Hendersonville, Black Mountain, and experience all the activities and scenery Western North Carolina has to offer. Have lunch at the Picnic Table, relax in the 6 person hot tub, swing in the hammock under a shade tree, watch the water rippling on the pond while sitting in Gazebo, observe horses grazing....That’s right….you will experience nature from the leisure of this cozy cottage. Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at catching a fish. Pamper yourself in the privacy of this fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms cottage with one level living space of 1200 sq. foot. Comfortable & luxurious king and queen beds await you dressed with fine linens. Throw something on the BBQ grill, take advantage of your fully equipped kitchen for those home cooked meals or take a 5 minute drive to the areas many restaurants and Movie Theater! Your kitchen includes a refrigerator with ice maker, electric cook-top with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the cooking utensils you may desire. The home was very well appointed and very clean. So many extras that the owners thought of were very nice. The location was great too. It felt private and secluded but was really easy to get to everything, Asheville and Hendersonville. Communication and info in the house was great.

This was a fantastic place to stay! It was clean, comfortable, well supplied, the host was just sweet! After long days walking through the Biltmore Mansion - dropping into the hot tub for body relief was wonderful. The peace we felt filling this place was totally balm to the soul. We loved seeing the horses and enjoying quiet walks around the property. I give this the highest recommendation!

The house was very charming, the scenery was excellent, and it has everything you will need for a stay. Expect some owner visits to make sure you have everything you need. They have some beautiful animals and a wonderful place, they want to make sure the tenants have everything. We accidentally left clothes in the dryer and the owner shipped them to us. We will definitely be back and be sure to not leave anything. This is a great place to be in this world.

Enjoyed our stay

My wife and I stayed at the Horse Farm Cottage for three weeks so we became very familiar with the house, the grounds and the owner. In summary, we were VERY PLEASED and would stay here again with no hesitation.The owner has devoted a lot of time to the comfort of the guests as the beds were very comfortable, with many pillow choices, plenty of soft towels, books and local information brochures. The kitchen was well stocked; not once did we say, “they don’t have one of these kitchen items.” The location is very quiet at night ensuring a good sleep.We enjoyed looking out the kitchen and dining room windows throughout the day and seeing the numerous horses grazing and moving around the pasture or an occasional deer eating along the wood line in the late evening. We spent a lot of time on the front covered porch, the side screen covered porch or the open sitting area behind that porch where the hot tub is located. It’s a 10 minute ride to two different Ingles, the Western North Carolina Botanical Gardens, many stores and the movie theater. Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville are easily accessible as we visited each location several times. For us, location was excellentWe were very pleased with the accommodations and would easily recommend this guest house to our friends. Terri – Thank you for providing us such an enjoyable home during our stay. We enjoyed it !

Beautiful scenery

This was such a beautiful place to stay. Country setting but not far from town. Everything was wonderful. My granddaughter loved the horses there. They have everything you could need at their place. They were very friendly and excellent of returning messages. I would definitely stay here again

Relaxing and perfect for us

Terri is a great host. Everything was clean and ready to use. We loved strolling around in the evening and enjoying watching the horses. It was the perfect spot for our week of activities in the Asheville/Hendersonville area. It was great to rent a house that everything worked and was trouble free.

Much needed Respite.

Absolutely beautiful to wake up to birds chirping and horses in the pasture. Fishing and laughing with my husband was great. Rhis place gave us calm and relaxation. The hot tub was a great addition.

Beautiful & Peaceful cottage living!

What a beautiful cottage, felt just like home from the moment we walked in the door. Pretty fresh flowers greeted us on the kitchen table. 2 very large size bedrooms & baths...perfectly sized for our stay it was myself, my fiancée & his parents. If you love quiet & tranquil space THIS is the place!! No hustle of a busy hotel...Loved looking out the window at the horses, unfortunately it rained most of the weekend so we couldn't experience too much outdoors BUT definitely plan on a Summer weekend trip & will book here again! Five stars!!

Growing up on the original 103 acre farm, Terri has a true passion for what she and her husband of 35 years have ventured into.  Though the farm has dwindled in size, Clay and Terri Vick still maintain and operate 17 acres as a horse boarding facility, keeping their own horses as well.  Realizing horses were going to be a huge part of our lives we created Willow Pond Stables 28 years ago.  Now we are excited to offer A Cottage at Willow Pond for others to share our joy in this wonderful place we live.

The house has been part of the family for 50 + years.  Terri's grandfather raised a large family on this farm.  It was his wish to continue to have horses and family here.  He would be pleased to know people can come enjoy what he started.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Off the beaten path, yet so close to all conveniences.  Nestled in a beautiful valley, horses all around the property.  Enjoy nature at its finest, fox, deer, frogs, fish, and occasionally a duck in the pond.  Sounds of horses grazing just outside the front door.  Goats, cat, chickens, miniature horse, and donkeys are on the property too! Only 5 minutes to restaurants, gas, movies, grocery and shopping.
