Harpa Holiday Home is a holiday home with a terrace, set in HĆŗsafell. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site.

There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen. Towels and bed linen are provided in this holiday home. Other facilities at Harpa Holiday Home include a hot tub and barbecue.

Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including golfing and hiking. Into The Glacier - Tour buses to the glacier Langjƶkull depart 800 m away from Harpa Holiday Home. Reykjavƭk Domestic Airport is 81 km from the property.

This lovely cottage "Harpa Holiday home" is located in the northwest part of Iceland where nature is at its most beautiful and where there is plenty of entertainment for visitors. Harpa holiday home is well equipped with many comforts, such as a flat screen TV and DVD player and the kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, coffee machine and available coffee and tea. The bathroom has a spacious shower and there is a hot tub on the terrace outside. It has three bedrooms with two beds that come with linen, two towels and a bathrobe for each guest. Washer and dryer are available for guests of the house aswell as barbecue facilities on the large terrace. The view from the summer house in the south is of the local mountain and to the east of glaciers and the serenity in the environment is unique.

In the area is a nine-hole golf course within a three-minute walk from the house. The local swimming pool is within a 5 minutes walking distance and the local area has many beautiful hiking trails. Trips to Ice Cave, which is located on Langjƶkull, are available every day and other wonderful places like Hraunfossar and Surtshellir are a few kilometers away. In winter the northern lights are spectacular.

We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.

Lux en comfortabel huis op prachtige locatie

This house is really beautiful and everything you need is available. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms. Very comfortable place in beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was great!!

Absolutely Lovely

Perfect location, lovely home, very comfortable for 5 people. We had an issue getting the hot tub and washer/dryer to work, probably because the pipes were frozen by the atypical cold weather. But despite that we loved our stay here and would absolutely come again! A great location for the nearby lava cave and to see the northern lights.

Enchanting cabin

Shortly before we reached the cabin, we passed a small HĆŗsafell toy boat in a bubbling brook and a father smoking a pipe with a child made of birch branches sitting on a bench. We entered an enchanting birch forest. The large windows make you feel like being part of the surrounding nature. In the cabin, you will find stunning watercolour paintings from PĆ”ll, a famous local artist, among other inspiring artwork. We felt an artist's touch throughout the cabin. We love coffee, especially with fresh milk foam on top. The Nespresso foamer made our days. You'll find more than you need in the cabin to make your Rest and Explore stay memorable. The cabin is a trouvaille.

Very nice cozy place to enjoy Island nature and family time

we stayed at the house for one week in the middle of october and definatly had everything we expected. The open, well furnished living room with kitchen was nice to have family time together, there also were cozy places to read and find some interesting books in the small library. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The communication with the owner was always good and we got to know how to fill the hot tub outside, having an amazing time. There are several houses and a hotel in the neighborhood but there is a wood with small trees surrounding the house so there is a private atmosphere. The activity center is just a few minutes by walk away where you can book tours to the glacier, caves and other places. Next to it is a little shop and a Bistro with good food, we really liked the lamb soup! Be sure to buy enough groceries for your stay since the next "real" supermarket is 50 kilometers from Husafell. 20 minutes by car there is a horsefarm to take a ride with Island horses. The team there is very friendly and also for beginners we can highly recommend the guided tours. We discovered Island by a rented car and took home impressions that last. Really fascinating! Thank you :-)

Tranquil and comfortable

Excellent location, very comfortable and well stocked by the owner. Plenty of outside space too, but not sure how one enjoys that with Icelandic weather.

Beautiful, Secluded home perfect for a family

We enjoyed this home in Husafell. The kids loved the many paths around the house and the hot tub while the parents enjoyed the secluded nature and views. We would visit here again!

The cabin and setting are lovely especially in the snow. Warm, comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub didn't fill which was a disappointment. If you are visiting in winter with COVID still around be sure to take enough food as there are no shops open.
