A quick drive from Yellowstone, Creekside Cabin in the Shotgun area of Island Park is the perfect basecamp for riding ATVs, sledding, fishing and playing in nature. With hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing, you'll have access to endless adventures.

Cast a fly into the creek which is home to brook and rainbow trout. Decompress to the sound of the small waterfall. Leave your windows open to listen to the creek as you peacefully sleep.

This is a great rental. It has all kinds of extras from seasonings to other supplies. We cooked dinner here every night, but would have enjoyed spending more time here as we were out exploring most of the time.

Close access to Yellowstone National Park. Host stayed in contact through VRBO for any issues or concerns which there were none. Very clean,quiet location perfect for our family vacation. Well stocked with supplies if you forget anything. No issues from check in to check out. Highly recommend for larger group visiting area.

Great Island Park Cabin

We loved he cabin and the time we had to relax and enjoy Yellowstone and other wonderful nearby wonders. We hope to come back and stay again!

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay. There is no air conditioning but the house cooled off pretty good in the evening. Great place to stay.

The property is located in a great spot. Quiet and far enough away from busy Summer bustle but close enough to get to everything the area offers in a short drive. Lots of easy parking and a perfect little stream behind the cabin that you can hear at night with the windows open. Plenty of interior space to stretch out relax with four bedrooms and 8 beds/bunkbeds plus a futon. 2 nice TV's in completely separate areas with excellent Wi-Fi and the most thoroughly appointed kitchen we've experienced. It's the only VRBO we've stayed that provided paper towels and lots of replacement paper towels and all the other amenity extras that seem to be missing or run out at other properties. They allow use of their garage and provide frozen jugs of water for coolers. It has a nice wrap around deck with a nice grill that actually works well and a great firepit (you'll need to provide your own wood) with lots of seating. The area has something around 12-13 restaurants within a 25-minute drive from nice sit-down places to pizza/burger take-out. Hosts are friendly, quick to respond and on top of things before, during and after the stay. All the pictures and info in the property description are completely accurate! Overall, it's one of the best VRBO properties we've visited. And we always find nice ones because we book early and really research them - but it's a winner for sure.

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful house-much more like a private home than a rental. It had everything we needed and so much more. The location was perfect and the hosts were great communicators. This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. Hope we can return.

Yellowstone Vacation

Beautiful cabin, great location and wonderful hosts. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was beautiful and creek behind the house was a nice bonus. The hosts were great, very responsive, excellent communication. I would highly recommend.

Beyond our expectations

If your looking at this property and it fits into your itinerary book it. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO and this was by far the best one ever. Warm and cozy, clean, every single basic condiment you need to cook. It was amazing.

Five star stay

There couldn't be anything better than this for our stay. The cabin is located 10-15 mins from Yellowstone which makes it perfectly secluded from crowded areas. Garage does make your life easier especially if it snows. The hosts went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We are going to stay there again when we go back to Yellowstone.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is fully stocked with everything you will need to feel like youre at home. (Especially the kitchen) Its beautiful and is exactly what the pictures looked like. It has a ladder upstairs that leads to a little hideaway loft which our kids LOVED! The best part of this cabin were the hosts. They were super responsive and answered any questioned we had before we got there. 100% would stay at this cabin again.

Beautiful spacious place.

The entire experience was wonderful. The home is spacious and so comfy. Location worked great for us to slip over to Yellowstone for the day. The back deck is so calming listening to the creek, also as you sleep with thw windows open. And the house had pretty much anything you would need for cooking, relaxing and playing games. Which we did it all. We would happily visit again as we never got time to enjoy the firepit.

Creekside Cabin Delivers!

We had a great stay at Creekside Cabin. We were there for three nights and everything was just about perfect. It was an easy drive to West Yellowstone from there, and the family enjoyed a river float in Island Park as well. We were treated to a summer storm and really enjoyed watching the storm on the covered back porch. At night we could listen to the creek and the breeze in the Aspens and wow, it was relaxing. The hosts thought of everything we might need and our time at Creekside Cabin was really relaxing and fun. We had 10 in our party and there was plenty of room. Highly recommend and if we have the occasion to go back, we will!

Family Vacation

The house was as described. The area is close to a local grocery store and a few restaurants / micro breweries. It was convenient to the West Yellowstone entrance. The owners were very attentive to anything we needed and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We had 5 adults and 5 children all under 12 years old. We had plenty of room and never felt crowded. There is a nice stream in the backyard, perfect for nights on the deck and looking for moose. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay there. We have stayed at many ABNB and VRBO and this rates up there with all of them. We hope everyone enjoys this property the way we did. We are both from and love small northern mountain towns. While work obligations forced us to temporarily relocate down South, it has been our dream to move back to a cabin in the woods. We fell in love with our new cabin at first sight and we welcome you to share it with us while we are away.

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and fly anglers who spend most of our time on various North American trout waters. While we are out traveling for work, outfitting or guiding fly fishing, the place is your to use as your personal base camp for your own adventures.

As kids, we always thought it would be fun to help friends and family find joy in the outdoors, as adults we found a way to accomplish just that. This is a living and evolving project for us and it is our intention is to create a brilliant space that offers loads of fun and relaxation. Suggestions are always welcome.

This Creekside Cabin serves as the perfect basecamp for adventure seekers and families looking to enjoy the outdoors. There are ATV and hiking trails nearby, ATV and boat rentals at the lake, access to world famous trout waters and of course, Yellowstone National Park.

Wild brook trout make Hotel Creek their home and can be found right in the back yard. A small elk hair caddis fly should do the trick.
