There were numerous issues with the townhouse which the host did her best to fix during our stay.Unfortunately this place needs some maintenance work which is not obvious from the pictures.

Hi Lendy, I am very sorry you had these issues with the home. The screen door has been repaired. My cleaner was able to resolve the doorknob while you were there.. Unfortunately I was unable to get a repairman there on a Sunday to fix the screen. I did provide a partial refund. We can’t provide full refunds for minor issues such as a torn corner on a screen door. I appreciate your feedback and hope you book with us again in the future. I promise your next stay will be free of any issues.

Great place to stay

First Monica was just amazing. I made a huge blunder with payments and she quickly responded and resolved it. The townhouse was lovely and had everything we needed. Great location and quiet safe neighborhood. Neighbors were also friendly.

Temporary home away from home

Monica was great; always willing to help or address any concerns. The property worked great for us. It was our home away from home still allowing our daughter to finish up the school year following the sale of our house.

Fantastic

This is definetively one of the best properties I ever been before. When I arrived I found an awesome but friendly staff, they gave me a pretty good service and what really stole my attention is the property, everything is clean and quite comfortable. I was afraid about property's size but I felt safe when I realized property has a huge space. Specially inside the rooms and that's not all, rooms are incredible beautiful inside. Location is pretty nice, this property is near of everything you may need to buy and the most important thing is that area is safe, it's a pretty nice place to stay. Thank you very much.

Ocala 6 Pak

The house is big enough and can sleep at a minimum of 4 people. If the couch is used, an additional 2 people. 1.5 bathrooms so it could be tight with 6 people. The appliances looked almost brand new and worked perfectly. A Washer and Dryer were provided and used a lot as we are very active. There are 2 parking spaces out front and the neighbors were quite nice. The yard is not big at all but if you are looking for a place to stay, sleep, eat and relax, this is a great place to stay. Close to so many great things to do. Gainesville is less than 45 min, and the Prairie offers wild animals to view in their habitat. Wild Horses, Bison, Gators, Wild Birds and so much more. Bike trails within 1 hour and we used them almost everyday of our stay. Plenty of shopping in the city, and the Farmers Market was wonderful Sat morning close to the Ocala Visitor Center. The Reilly Civic Center provides live entertainment but get online to order tickets because they go fast. Numerous grocery stores and banks are close by as well. There is a huge Flea Market Fr-Sun if you can locate Rte 441. 45 min drive but there are 1,000 booths for all to use.

Beware of hidden fees.

We chose this booking because pets were allowed and no fees were listed for pets or cleaning. In hindsight, I should have clarified. We followed all checkout instructions but were charged a cleaning fee for pet hair. The comment noted a “fee for cat,” which was confusing since we traveled with dogs. The property has a Ring camera at the entrance, so we assumed the owner was aware. We did make an error by not marking we were traveling with pets, which I didn’t notice until reviewing the booking after receiving the fee notification. We are mostly annoyed by the cleaning fee due to the following issues on how we found the location: A glass from the cabinet had sticky residue on the rim, making us wary of using dishes without washing first.A used robe and towel were hanging in the upstairs bathroom on arrival.The screened porch was in disrepair, and chairs were covered in pollen.Mildew was visible on upstairs windows and blinds.The townhouse smelled strongly of weed.The upstairs stayed warm despite mild weather. Combined with the moisture-proof bed cover, it was uncomfortably hot for sleeping.I have no doubt we left tons of pet hair. Our dog is double coated and we swept but we did not deep clean as it wasn't listed to do so and we departed for a 5hour drive home at 10:00pm. We did not leave it disgusting. We did not allow the heavy shedder on furniture. We do not plan on booking again.

Excellent place to stay with family and pets

We just moved from Connecticut to Florida and needed a safe and clean spot to land until we got our more permanent housing established. I came here with my wife, 18 year old son, German Shepherd and our cat. Monica was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The townhouse was convenient and clean and the neighborhood is very friendly. We highly recommend the Vacation Villa.
