Loved being able to do laundry. It was very peaceful drinking coffee in the morning watching the cows, horses and chickens. Very beautiful property with an entrance to the creek that was super scenic. The host even stopped by while we were outside enjoying the weather and scenery when she and her husband were picking up her vehicle from a day of working the farm to make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions. By far one of my best experiences with hosts and property management!

The way I read the bedroom description I was thinking the single bed would be in the same room as double bed not in the living room. A working farm should have been indicated in the vrbo description similar to the note that was left in the house when we arrived. Was not very quiet - people and vehicles always in and out and sometimes I wanted to choke the roosters.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. All of my photos for the living room indicate the location of the single bed in that area. The working farm indication in my welcome letter is for the safety of our animals and to make sure any gates that are opened by guests are closed immediately, Yes, guests will see me at least once per day stopping to feed and water my chickens, cows, horses and barn cat, it's what I do and what I enjoy. Many guests enjoy my animals as well. As for the rooster, well what can I say, cockadoodledoo he is part of the farm scene too. The driveway is shared with our cabin guests also and as best as I can tell, everyone who stays on our property is very respectful.

Beautiful Getaway

Very clean and comfortable. We loved having a semi-private creekside beach to relax next to. We plan on visiting again.

Awesome stay

This location was right where we wanted to be. Mother Nature created an event that was far beyond their control but they made accomadations well beyond our expectations. Itvwas good to see a family come together in a time need. Will definitely be booking here again.

A wonderful group of hunters stayed at the cabin. We had an unexpected rain that dropped nearly 15” overnight causing massive flooding and power outages. Russell and his group never complained once and were so understanding given the circumstances and we did our best to keep everyone comfortable and lucky for us the power was back on within 12 hours. We are fortunate to have been blessed with such wonderful guests and we will welcome them back any time!

Best country getaway on VRBO

Clean, private, and amazing fun! From the creek to the pasture, this home is one of a kind. Far enough out of town to really enjoy the peacefulness, but still close enough to have modern amenities. Great hosts with a wonderful property. Book soon!

Jeff and his family have stayed with us twice and brought his children to the Maramec Springs kids fishing days. Everyone is kind, easy to visit with and they always respect the land, my animals and our home. Always a GREAT time

We have stayed here before and were excited to come back. My kids love the farm animals and we love being tucked away on the farm. Communication with Stephanie is always easy. I love that there is a washer and dryer so that I can bring clean clothes home from vacation. We recommend this farm house.

It is always a pleasure to host this charming family and they have stayed on the Ranch multiple times. I so enjoy hanging with their kids and showing them a bit of the farm life. They are always welcome here.

Relaxing house in the country

We had a great stay at Stephanie’s house. She had all the essentials well stocked for us to use. It was clean and the property is quiet and relaxing. It was only a 15 minute drive to Adventure Outdoors, where we put in to float. We’d definitely stay there again in the future.

Relaxing and peaceful

We really enjoyed our experience! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, look no further than this quaint, little spot. Crooked Creek Resort had everything we needed and was in a great location, not too far from town and several local spots to get wet and soak up some sunshine. Hosts were very friendly, and all of their furry and feathery friends were fun too! Will stay again! Highly recommend!

Stocked & super clean

We were on the go and wish we’d had one more day to just sit and enjoy the peacefulness. The cleanliness can’t be beat which is important to me. It was great for our family of 5 bc we had some elbow room and a kitchen. We would definitely stay again. Enjoyed time at Meramac Spring Park about 10 miles away.

I had been a guest here for a girls weekend and had really enjoyed myself. I spoke so highly of this beautiful place that my husband wanted to see it for himself so we spent a long weekend here celebrating our anniversary and my husband enjoyed it so much that he’s already planning our next trip to the Crooked Creek Ranch! We loved that the creek was so close and spent quite a bit of time sitting by the creek enjoying nature. The property is beautiful and the house is very comfortable. Stephanie is so great to work with and we enjoyed visiting with her and her husband. This place is a gem!

Rhonda had visited the Crooked Creek Ranch on another occasion and I had the pleasure to host her and her husband Lanny for their anniversary. What a wonderful couple. We enjoyed their company and conversation and they enjoyed the creek and collecting rocks. I welcome the opportunity to have them back!

Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay

This property is great for families. Stephanie was so accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. The farm has animals that my kids could feed and take care of. The property is right on the river and we enjoyed swimming and exploring without driving anywhere. The kitchen had all we needed to cook all our meals. This is a great find and we enjoyed our vacation. Highly recommend Stephanie and this property.

Midwestern Summer Fun

The rental process was very simple, and the property was fantastic. The location is to die for with a creek just down the way, very friendly horses who love to be pet. And a cute cat that also loves to be pet. My wife and kid absolutely loved the property, and so did I. It's also within 30 -45 minutes of all food and entertainment in the area. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful!

This place surpassed our expectations! The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The property was amazing. Sitting on the porch and hearing the water moving in the creek was so very relaxing. The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. Would definitely like to book again.
