Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise that overlooks the Youghiogheny Lake. Take a leisurely stroll down to the nearby picnic area and dip your toes in.

We are conveniently located 3-miles from the Youghiogheny Dam and boat launch that has a fantastic beach area for your children to play.

Looking for an adventure? We are 4-miles from the Youghiogheny River Trail (part of the Great Allegheny Passage) and 12-miles to Ohiopyle State Park. Test your endurance on one of the many hiking trails, take a guided rafting tour or kayak down the Youghiogheny River.

Come back and relax in our newly renovated cottage with an open floor plan, or give some of our extraordinary local eateries a try.

The access road is rough and scary the first time you come in, and the driveway is short and tricky at first sight, but once you get used to taking your time and navigating both with the right amount of care, you're fine. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed available. We were grateful to be able to take advantage of the hot tub every evening when we returned from hiking nearby trails. We couldn't have had a more pleasant stay and will gladly return if we're in the area again. Thanks!

It was bigger than many cabins I stayed in, really clean, beds were very comfortable. Host was very sweet and made it easy to check in and out. Beautiful views, and very close to Ohiopyle and Confluence for activities. Hot tub quite lovely, and beautiful views. The last part of the drive in is very hilly and gravelly, so we had to be careful there. Would book again!

We loved this property! Rachel was very accommodating allowing us to check in early, and everything was as advertised. The road to and from the home is ROUGH, so definitely recommend having a larger vehicle. I do with there were a few items like tin foil, zip locks, etc in the home, but it in no way affected our overall comfort in the house. Highly recommend this property!

This cabin was amazing. Sparkling clean and a great location. Communication with the property owner was extremely helpful. She was obviously happy to help and knows the area very well! Access to the cabin was a little rough as far as the condition of the roadway, but it was tolerable for such a nice little place to stay!

The cabin was exceptionally clean. Very cozy and great amenities. Comfy beds. Close to the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Rachel is very accommodating and great communication. Highly recommend.

Relaxing trip away

This property was the perfect place to relax and reset; tucked away with a beautiful view of the lake. It was well maintained and the owner was extremely communicative and helpful. The hot tub was the perfect ending to the days spent exploring the beautiful PA landscape.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin! The house is just a short walk to the lake, which was perfect for fishing, swimming, and relaxing. We brought our own fishing rods and bait, and were glad we did—it’s a great spot for it. The lake has a rocky bottom, so water shoes came in handy for swimming!The cabin feels cozy and gives everyone space to unwind. There was even a sweet little reading nook for quiet moments. We brought an air mattress and had plenty of room for it. The kitchen had all the tools and essentials we needed for cooking, and we brought our own groceries.We took a day trip to Ohiopyle and visited Cucumber Falls, which the kids loved—it felt like a mini adventure climbing around the rocks and fallen trees. The gem mining was more fun than expected, and the ice cream afterward was a hit.Back at the cabin, we loved the hot tub, making s’mores by the fire pit, and watching movies from the great DVD selection. The kids had a blast in the game room. Rachel was a thoughtful, responsive host and had everything set up so nicely, including coffee and basic supplies.One note: the road leading to the cabin is very rocky, so we recommend bringing everything you’ll need for your stay—you won’t want to make too many trips once you’re settled in. That said, it’s all part of the adventure, and we truly loved our stay. We’d absolutely return!

Wonderful

The cabin was beautiful with beautiful views! My friends and I had a short little cabin trip and enjoyed our stay at this property. The hot tub was relaxing and had great scenery of the trees and lake. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our Wonderful Stay

The property is very nice and clean! The bed was very comfortable and the living area is a great size if you are having a larger group over. There was a bad storm during our stay and we lost power but that didn't stop us from having a great time! Being close to Nemacolin and Ohiopyle gave us plenty to do and plenty of places to eat. Only wish we could've used the hot tub but maybe next time! We'll definitely be staying again!

Cozy cabin, great view

Stayed here for a girls weekend, such a charming place. We used the hot tub and fire pit every night. This place has a wonderful view of the lake and is about 15 minutes away from all of the hiking trails. We plan on staying here again.

Great for getaway

Spent a long winter weekend here with good friends. We loved the quiet and coziness of the cabin. We got lots of snow but no issues with clearing it or getting in/out. Owners were really great and communicative. We'd love to come back in the summer and check out the local hiking and the lake.

A great Christmas getaway!

My family and I loved our stay here. Everything was immaculately clean and everything we could need was provided. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub and upstairs game room. The property is small but laid out in a way that maximized the space. I would highly recommend this rental to others!

I personally love spending time at our cabin. It has amazing lighting and views and is very open and airy. The street our cabin is situated on is private and rarely traveled. It's quiet and a great place to decompress and reconnect with nature.
