Located along the iconic Ali'i Dr., this oceanfront home has privacy and world class amenities. Upon driving into the gate, you will be greeted with unobstructed ocean views. Take a ride down the slide into the pool. Or jump in the spa to relax from a long day of travel. Take a break from the sun under the gazebo, or grill your favorite dinner poolside.

You will enjoy sunset dinners from the oceanfront lanai on the main home. The king bedroom and bathroom are the ultimate in luxury. The kitchen is well equipped to meet your culinary needs. There is a pull-out couch in the living room and an additional full bathroom. The guest house is upstairs and features a small kitchenette and pullout sofa, and private bathroom. The views are spectacular from the lanai!

*Please Note: The pool and slide to the pool are not fenced off. There is a gate to the beach but it is not locked. While we welcome children the home is NOT childproof. Please use caution throughout the home.

Beautiful home, we stayed here for about 2 weeks and loved it. The views are spectacular,on another level.Seemed like the sunset every evening was for only us to watch. Kids enjoyed the pool and slide. We had small issue with jacuzzi and pool heat, but was resolved quickly. Thanks for the great service, big call out to Devin/CBIV for his professionalism. We will be back !

Hawaiian Paradise!

This house is one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed. Breathtaking views and beautiful interiors make this home a must for your vacation stay. The pool and jacuzzi are the highlight of this home. You can swim right up to the ocean’s edge. This was the first of hopefully many trips back to this home.

Amazing property!

This is the absolute best place to stay in Kona. We played for hours in the pool, bedding is luxurious. Kitchen is stocked, view is incredible, we cant wait to go back, MAHALO

So much better in person

The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is so much better when you get to take it all in in-person. If you get the chance to stay, you have to. The home is perfect and the pool and outdoor area are breathtaking. It has an extra home also with bedrooms. It is perfect in every way. Staying here is a must.

Beautiful Property

After working out some minor kinks with the property, we had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful setting and would be perfect for a honeymoon or a couple’s getaway!

Perfect Hawaiian Paradise

Everything about this property was amazing!!! Perfect location to watch the sunset while swimming In the infinity pool surrounded by beautiful palm trees and plants. I would definitely stay here next time I come back to the island. 100% worth every penny!!!

Relaxing stay….

Beautiful property right on the water - very clean - very relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for. The property has a few maintenance issues and is a bit dated but overall is exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Wonderful, mellow vacation

This was a beautiful house to have as a base camp for our first time in Kona. I stayed here with my two teen kids and a friend of theirs for a week and really enjoyed all the property had to offer. Two separate houses gave us a little privacy, the amazing pool was a delight, the landscaping was gorgeous, and I swear I could spend all day staring at the ocean. I hope to return one day.

Can't beat the view

The pool is a engineering marvel. The house is great. Fully stocked kitchen. We all loved it here. The guest house was nice and comfortable for two big people. I would love to stay here again! My only small complain was some pictures showed extra sleeping area in the ohana house that wasn't available.

Couldn't have asked for More.

The pool & slide are amazing (Kids were taken back). The house had everything we needed. The towels were so great we ordered ones for our house. Location couldn't have been better, extremely quiet and secluded even though we did have neighbors. I would book here again in a heartbeat.

can't get closer to the ocean!

Great property, house is a bit older but well maintained, Linnea the property manager was very helpful and responsive, even allowed us to check out a couple hours later which helped a lot. Awesome location, close to everything but also not too close. If you love falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocky shore, you can't get better than this place.

Won't want to leave the property

As has been stated the reality is even better than the pictures. We seldom left the property as it has everything one needs if seeking a relaxing vacation. Plenty of great whale watching right from the lanai. Amazing sunset views. Only had one minor issue to contact property manager. Propane in BBQ tank ran out and they responded immediately to have refilled.

Excellent house right on the ocean!

This property is incredible! Setting aside minor issues upon check-in, we settled in to an amazing few days and were sad to leave. This house is just as it appears - directly on the water, with a large clean pool and spa, plus a water slide. The spa heats up quickly and was so relaxing to use at night. And the infinity pool is huge! We spent hours every day enjoying these features. The home is also clean and located just a short drive from downtown Kona. We were sad to leave and are already talking about planning a return trip!

Trip of a lifetime!

We loved our time here. The location is unbeatable. The pool, hot tub, and slide were used everyday. My fiance and I decided to get married on the lanai while we were there!! We had a traditional Hawaiian ceremony at sunset and it exceeded our expectations. We saw whales and rainbows and no one wanted to go home. Highly recommend. Only issues - the oven is older and the bake setting no longer works. The grill is also outdated and only 2 burners worked..it ran out of propane part way through the trip.

Ocean front for two

Excellent ocean front for view and sound. The main house can sleep 4 if you don't value privacy. We didn’t use the second house so we have no comment. The hot tub would not heat when we arrived. It was quickly resolved the next day. I would recommend that people request that the hot tub be functional and heated up when you arrive, that way you will save time waiting for it to be fixed. Next morning the coffee pot wouldn't work. Long flight, no hot tube at night or coffee in the morning, no fun. The management was quick to respond. The views, pool and location are awesome.M

So much potential!

This is the second time I have stayed in this home, absolutely wonderful place, great location with unbeatable views. Can I suggest the owners do some updating. Lighting is not very good, bedroom fan only has one speed, and new air conditioner unit is extremely loud. A couple slight, small but meaningful updates would go a long way for this wonderful home.

Second Time Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our favorite vacation rental. We've stayed in many, and this property and location can't be beat. We've rented this place a few times and while the view, pool and slide are our favorite, not having enough actual beds is a downside...wish we still had access to the bedrooms (at least one of them) in the Ohana unit. As a family of 5, having some sleep on pull-out sofa beds is not comfortable, especially when paying a premium.

Hidden gem on the Big Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We can’t say enough great things about our vacation and stay at Big Island Hale Kaheka. Our arrival brought breathtaking views of the ocean which were exactly like the photos (maybe better)! The property is enormous and well maintained and has a nice mix of outdoor shaded seating and sun areas. We would have liked sun chairs that fully reclined but the accommodations at the infinity edged pool overlooking the ocean were otherwise impeccable. Heading into the main house was equally impressive and beautifully maintained. This was the best stocked vacation rental I’ve EVER seen. We cooked every dinner at the house since it was so well provisioned and a pleasure to cook and watch our own private sunset each night. The main bedroom and bathroom were wonderful and the foldout sofas were both adequate for our 4 teenagers. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms for the 6 of us and we never felt like we had to wait for bathrooms. The only minor issue we had was one of the gates did not work and could be pushed open from the street which made it feel a little less secure. Nonetheless, we will be back to this little slice of heaven and are already planning our next adventure since we ran out of time!

Can't Beat The Views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here for 18 nights in February and had an overall wonderful time. The pool and the deck outside the main house are they key attractions. We saw lots of whales, spinner dolphins, colorful fish and even a turtle. The property was clean and has lots of amenities but there is one thing that is pretty misleading I think others should know about before booking. It says it has air conditioning in the main house and that's a bit of a stretch. There's a portable AC unit next to the bed but it's extremely loud so not practical to run at night. It was February so it wasn't too muggy so we slept with the sliding doors open. You can't lock the screen doors so that's a bit uncomfortable. The property is gated but if someone wanted to get in, they could. I think there needs to be a solve for locking the doors if you need to leave them open for airflow and better representation of what the AC conditions really are. If it were really hot, it would have been an entirely different experience due to lack of AC. With that said, we extended while we were there so it wasn't a major issue for us. There were some maintenance issues but the management team responded quickly and the issues were resolved in a timely manner.
