There are many activities available with excellent fishing, hiking, picnicing, and campfires available on the property. Horseback riding is just 10 minutes away at nationally known Leatherwood Stables. Boone is a short 15-20 minute drive, and Blowing Rock is a 30 minute drive both of which provide excellent dining, shopping, and antiquing. Other local activities include golf, cave exploration, whitewater rafting, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, ASU football, hunting, mountain biking, tubing, gem mines, and downhill skiing.
