With a charming country feel and breath taking views for miles, you will experience peace and serenity in a tranquil setting. There is a large living room which comfortably seats 6, a fully equipped private kitchen and laundry available. Close to Antique Specialty shops and Restaurants you can enjoy a stroll in the village. Portland is 1 Hr away, Sebage lake is 26 minutes away, and North Conway is 45 minutes for your outlet experience. We are proffesional chefs, ask about our meal packages. We look forward to seeing you!

The hosts were wonderful - they gave great hike recommendations and helped us feel at ease. The view is beautiful! The apartment is connected to the hosts house but they gave us plenty of space, set us up for a fire, and left zucchini bread. Such a sweet place to stay! Highly recommend.

Scott and Kath go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They greeted us upon our arrival, and gave us a quick tour of the unit. Just a short time later, we had a fantastic dinner in their private dining room. (This is a service you should strongly consider - you order ahead, and they create a lovely, delicious, home made meal. It was awesome!) They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to have a relaxing stay in their beautiful location. The setting is perfect for a quiet getaway. On our final day, we decided to eat with them in their kitchen, (again, delicious!) and we feel we've made some wonderful new friends.

We absolutely loved our stay. Kath was an absolutely wonderful, incredibly friendly host. We lived the homemade bagels and cookies. We very much hope to return.

Clean, quiet, and responsive, lovely hosts :)

Tucked away in the countryside, this was a great place to decompress and enjoy some peace and quiet. Had everything I needed and more (and there is a grocery store, shops, and other things nearby if I had forgotten anything), and my questions were promptly answered by the hosts. Even though I didn't get to meet them in person, they were super sweet and left me homemade bagels and cookies - both delicious :) Would definitely recommend and would stay again :)

Great place with fantastic views!

All was great and hosts were awesome. We will e back!! Next time will take advantage of their menu for dinner bc the bagel they made us were fantastic.

Beautiful quiet getaway with rustic charm

Great place suited for friends travelling together. A fully stocked kitchen and space to relax and enjoy the view! Off the beaten path quiet area. Slept like a log. Hosts went above and beyond and very responsive! Thank you Kath and Scott for a wonderful time. Next time will try the awesome menu! You should post those options on the site!!

Beautiful views! We were surprised at how spacious the property is. It was the perfect place for us to return to after a day of fun at the lake with extended family. The owners were very kind and accommodating.

Views for miles, nature at its best

We enjoyed two nights under the beautiful night sky! We lit a fire each night, enjoyed the views and just chilled! Thank you for the delicious home made bumble berry pie. We would love to go back!

Great Spot, Fantastic Hosts

I grew up in the area and was looking for a spot near family but still convenient to all our favorite spots, the Southern Maine Shore points and Conway New Hampshire and the White Mountains. This fit the bill and we enjoyed our time. You will be driving down a dirt road, but it is well maintained. The property is comfortable and clean, the views are great, and the hosts are awesome! They had wine bottles available for purchase, which we did. They were also super helpful in setting up the grill and fire pit. We weren't there to stream content, but we really didn't have any problems with the Wi-Fi and 5G reception was fine. Overall, a great experience with super chill and attentive hosts.

Cozy mountain getaway

We were looking for a place with 2 bedrooms for our family, and this place fit the bill perfectly! Our host was very friendly and met us at the door soon after we let ourselves in with a code, giving us some lawn games to play and offering to set up a fire later on. The main bedroom's bed was very comfortable, and my daughter had her choice of 3 beds in her room in case she wanted to play Goldilocks. ;) We witnessed a beautiful sunrise on the mountain - what a view! They also stocked a wine fridge and beers for purchase at very reasonable prices. We wish we had made plans for them to make us a meal! Very quiet and secluded. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.

Beautiful Spot

The view is gorgeous, and the apartment was super clean as well as peaceful and private. The master bed is very comfortable and the ac units work well when you need them. The hosts are lovely people, so kind and thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. They are darn good cooks too! We had Kath prepare dinner the night we arrived, and breakfast the following morning, until we could get to a store, and the meals were excellent (especially Kath’s homemade bagels). The town of Cornish is charming with lots of antique shops and small eateries. Sebago Lake is a quick 30-45 minute trip, and Portland is about an hour away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

After visiting 10 states and golfing in 9 of them in 11 days, this was the perfect place to decompress. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. We sat on the wooden platform and listened to a multitude of birds while enjoying the mountain vista. A must place to visit if you are looking to stay in the area.

Peace and quiet . Super hosts. Large home with everything you'll ever need. Extremely comfortable. Close to both New Hampshire and the Maine coast.

Our stay

We arrived to the property and were greeted by the proprieter. Her name was Katy. Very nice and accomodating, The home is spacious and clean. It had everything we could possibly need. The view is spectacular! We however did not spent alot of time there. Our son and his family live close by in Cornish. We cannot wait to come back in 2023, We will be meeting our new grandchild. We definitely would love to stay with Katy and Scott again!

Awesome place to stay.

We had a wonderful time in Cornish! Very quiet and peaceful. Saw deer and wild turkeys in back yard. Would definitely stay there again.

Don't trust the GPS

Our entire trip was wonderful. The owners are so nice and helpful. The premises were beautiful. The view was beautiful. Our only problem was that we tried to follow GPS to get there and GPS cannot be trusted in that area so it took us an extra hour to find our way there. Basically if it wants to take you down Quarry Rd., just say no!

Christmas in Cornish

Lovely view all around. House comfortable for all 7 of us and made especially nice with Christmas tree and decorations. Really enjoyed wood stove. Missed out on your culinary skills maybe another time.
