A former renovated Ardennes farmhouse, the Similaun cottage can accommodate up to 12 people, just a stone's throw from the Bayehon waterfall, the Signal de Botrange and the trails of the Hautes-Fagnes. Ideal for groups in search of nature: hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing in winter. Private jacuzzi to recover after the effort. 15 minutes from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit (F1, WEC, 24 hours of Spa, Fun Cup). Catering service on order.

The place:
Nestled in Longfaye, on the edge of the Hautes-Fagnes-Eifel Natural Park, the Similaun cottage accommodates up to 12 people on 3 levels: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large convivial kitchen and a living room with wood stove. The terrace and the garden open onto the Ardennes countryside.
The Similaun gîte is ideally located 15 minutes from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, one of the mythical circuits on the world calendar. A perfect base to attend the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix, the 6 Hours of Spa (WEC), the 24 Hours of Spa or the 25 Hours VW Fun Cup, and find calm and comfort after a day in the grandstands.

For working people:
A secure room is dedicated to bicycles, with repair equipment and washing point. The network of marked trails starts from the property: Fagne de Malmedy, Signal de Botrange (highest point in Belgium, 694 m), Cuckboards of La Polleur. In winter, the cross-country ski trails of Xhoffraix and Botrange are a few minutes away, the alpine slopes of Ovifat just opposite.

After exercise:
Private jacuzzi, billiards, table football, wood stove: the Similaun cottage is designed to recover well after a day in the great outdoors. On order (minimum 5 days in advance),
Our catering service prepares meals, BBQ packages or raclette/pierrade based on local products, to fully enjoy without going behind the stove.

Your hosts:
Etienne, a mountain guide and connoisseur of the region, and Jill, a caterer with a passion for local products, live on the estate. They are available to advise you on itineraries, breweries, local producers and sites not to be missed.

Good to know
As in all Belgian cottages, bed linen and towels are not provided. The price includes tourist taxes, water and energy. Pets allowed. Free Wi-Fi.
Competition weekends at Spa-Francorchamps generate a lot of traffic in the area. We can advise you on the best options for access and parking at the circuit.

Stay rules (to be read before booking):
The Similaun cottage is strictly reserved for family and group stays in respect of the neighborhood. Any evening with amplified music, sound system or festive behavior is strictly prohibited. Calm is required after 10 p.m.
Access to other buildings, wood stores and annexes is not permitted.
