Vallon Pont d'Arc
Today, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc is a place that attracts a lot of interest every summer. Outside of the summer months, the town has about 2,000 residents, but during the summer, that number increases several-fold. In the village, you’ll find many charming shops, restaurants, and outdoor dining areas. There’s also a lively market, where you can find a wide variety of regional specialties. Thanks to its prime location near various impressive sites such as the Ardèche Gorges, the Chauvet Cave, the Aven d’Orgnac, and the Aven Marzal, this village serves as an ideal base. Each of these sites is easily accessible from the town. If you’re looking for a versatile vacation destination, the region around this charming town in southern Ardèche is definitely worth a visit!
