The house was perfect for our family. The pool was very clean and being that the weather was cooler, the heated pool was wonderful. We rented bikes and rode them to and from the beach everyday. The kids loved it. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and enjoy the sunsets from the porch. We will be coming back to this beautiful historical home.

Amazing Location + Home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, the home and rooms are bigger than it seemed through pictures. It fit a group of 13 adults very comfortably. The pool and yard were amazing to have and got much use. The location is perfect - walkable to south end bars, restaurants, and a market for any last minute items needed. Also a very quick walk to the beach accessible on 13th street. Would recommend this stay for any group!

This house was great. Was as advertised and lots of space to hang out. The porch was awesome. We did learn upon arriving that beach chairs were provided at the house. There is not direct beach access but it is a short walk up the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location on Tybee Island

We had a group of 9 ladies who all had a wonderful time. The house is a very good size and was clean. We used the pool a ton, but were also very close to the beach. It was a plus that the house provided beach towels, chairs, a small cooler, etc. for a beach day. Was also in walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very quaint, clean and in a great location for our recent girls trip. They provide chairs and a wagon to go to the beach. There was plenty of space for all of us and the pool was awesome. I would definitely recommend! The property is a little hard to find so be sure to look for 12th place!

Our family really enjoyed the house and it's location. There was enough room to spread out and enjoy yourself. It was amazing to have a pool when you were tired of being at the beach. It was an easy walk to the beach. The pool shade broke during one of the storms, and no one ever showed up to replace it. We did tell them we were fine and they did not have to replace it that day. We also were excited to be able to barbeque. We cooked the first meal on the barbeque, and all went well. The last night there we started cooking on the barbeque and the propane ran out. When we notified the host that we had no propane they said they would bring more the next day. It was our last night so that was not helpful. Also, I think for the price we were paying there should have been nicer chairs to take to the beach. Most of them were rusted and broken. Other than the few broken items this is an incredible place to stay with your family.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay. We’re so glad to hear your family enjoyed the home, the spacious layout, the pool, and the convenient walk to the beach. It’s wonderful to know the property provided a great space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. We sincerely appreciate you sharing the concerns you experienced during your stay. We apologize that the timing of these issues affected your experience, especially with the propane running out on your final evening when a replacement the following day was no longer helpful. We also understand your disappointment regarding the condition of the beach chairs and will share this feedback with our team for review. Thank you again for your patience and for recognizing the home’s many positive features despite these inconveniences. We truly value your feedback and appreciate you choosing to stay with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome your family back to Tybee again in the future. The Tybee Team

Unique and Charming Home

Property was extremely clean and checkin was effortless. The amount of character this home exudes is amazing and the decor gives a comfy, charming appeal. Abundance of porch space provides the perfect place to relax with family and the pool heated to a comfy 90 degrees on some very chilly evenings. Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are nicely updated while still providing the feel of a 1920’s home. High ceilings and original doorways provide a historic southern charm that is consistent with Savannah architecture. Restaurants and shops are only a few blocks away and the beach is a one block walk from the home. I would definitely recommend this vacation home and would make it my go to for visits to the Tybee area. Thank you for the unforgettable stay!

Nice house on Tybee, great pool area

Very nice, spacious house that was perfect for our family. The house is nicely decorated, clean, and has everything you need. Our kids loved the pool area, especially the night swims with the lights. House is conveniently located to everything on the island and the walk to beach was pretty short (even with no direct beach access on the street). Hosts were very responsive and easy to work with throughout. Our family had a great stay at the house. Also, we got a golf cart a few days to try some different beach areas on Tybee. The island is very golf cart friendly and carts (at least from Golf Cart Pros) get free parking everywhere on the island, which is nice. Would definitely recommend spending some time in Savannah too (which is a pretty short drive from the house, less than 30 mins).

Amazing vacation in a fantastic house

My extended family of 8 just wrapped up a fantastic week at As Time Goes By. We absolutely loved the house. this house is both serene and whimsical, both with old charm and new, modern conveniences, and was in a great location close to everything, yet felt far from it all. The decor is so very pretty, each room was very comfortable with ample seating/bedding and again comfortable for a group, and kitchen was stocked. Everything was extremely clean and well organized. The wrap around porch/decking is fantastic. There are too many spaces to cozy up in this house to gather as a group or find some alone time. The pool is fantastic and we enjoyed it every single day and you just cannot beat being able to walk so easily to the beach and back and then cool off in the wonderful pool. I envy the family that owns this amazing home! I cannot think of a more perfect beach house. It's everything you'd hope for and more.

Beautiful Tybee Home

This is a beautiful, clean historic home with charm that just screams “beach house!” Great location. Beautiful pool with plenty of places to relax outdoors, either poolside or on one of the screened porches. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures - which was a pleasant, unexpected surprise. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of space for everyone in the common areas. Would have given this 5 stars except for the lack of response from the management company when we called to ask about heating the pool. Called and was told someone would call back and they never did. Fortunately, we figured it out ourselves and all was good. Would definitely recommend this home and it will be our first choice when returning to Tybee.
