1 or up to 6 guests. Hunting season coming.....book your place!! This site is 4 miles west of Pinedale just off of Highway 191 to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Jackson Hole, WY. The home is a log home with a "great" room and having a true Wyoming atmosphere with a spectacular view of the Green River Valley and Wind River Mountain range. Very beautiful, accommodating, centralized, convenient location and quiet. Centralized to the area for winter sports activities. plenty of parking.

Such a cute cabin. The host was AMAZING and very accommodating!! The bed in the master bedroom could use a switch out. It is pretty worn in the center and kept us snuggled pretty tight. However the incredible host made the stay worth while!! Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

The Wild Rose is a very warm, comfortable, and spacious cabin. Tony, the owner is onsite and very accommodating and friendly. While the cabin is located outside but close to Pinedale, Wyo it provides a very peaceful and restful setting, yet is close to a consortium of outdoor recreational activities from fishing on the Green and New Fork Rivers, to hiking in the Wind River Ranges on a plethora of trails or just taking in drives to see Wildlife and the scenery (its possible to do all of these activities in a day). Our trip was a great time and very enjoyable and we very muched enjoyed the Wild Rose and Tony's hospitality!

The Wild Rose was an amazing place to stay. Tony was very welcoming and made us feel right at home.The house itself has so much character and stories that added a lot to our trip.I would love to stay here again.

A bit out of town. The host was tough to get a gold of, but friendly and helpful once we met. Lots of space. Don't book it if you don't like lots of taxidermy.

The house was not clean. Tony was all up in our business when we preferred to be left alone. The dog chained up by the garage bit one person and another dog.

Anthony was a great host. He is available, if needed. VRBO has the wrong cell phone in their system. The correct number is 307-323-8133. Great view relaxing porch. If you want a log cabin experience this may be your place. Contact Tony for more information to make sure this is the place for you. We had 6 women stay. In town for the Rendezvous in Pinedale that was a great educational experience.

Our stay

The property owner was very kind and helpful. The house was interesting and spacious, and we were able to invite other family over for meals. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the place.

Pinedale fishing trip

We were excited to stay at this property based on past reviews. However the first thing that greeted us was a walkway to the front door covered with chicken droppings. The carpeting was not vacuumed, the toilets were not clean around the rim, there was owners food in the refrigerator and the fridge was not clean. The tile in the kitchen and bar hadn't been cleaned and there was crumbs all over the floor. The kitchen sink was gross. The carpet was filthy and disgusting. There was a wet rag in the bathroom sink. We weren't sure if the bedding was clean or not based on how everything else looked. Light switch plates were filthy. It was so bad, we requested and received a full refund and had to find other accommodations on short notice. Luckily, there was a couple hotel rooms available in town that we were able to get or our vacation would have been ruined.

Wild Rose is amazing. I wasn’t sure we had the right place from the outside but once inside we felt right at home. Our host was gracious and very knowledgeable of the area which was a big help. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Lots of antiques throughout. Highly recommend!

Hiking 2024

Staying at Tony’s place is a great experience. It feels like you are really living “in the West”. Cool history with the decor. He has incredible hospitality. If you are looking for a place to “feel at home”, in the beautiful of Nevada, I definitely recommend this place.

Host canceled when we showed up

I booked this house on a Sunday to stay the next night (Monday). I spoke with Tony immediately after booking on the phone, and I explained I’d call him one hour before I wanted to check in (at his request). When I called at about 4:30 (the following DAY!!), he acted confused, like we never spoke. He asked if I was the family he had been working with. Of course, I was not that family. He stated that a family from Florida had booked the place for a month. Why this had not occurred to him the day before, I'm not sure. I anticipate he will respond by blaming me or VRBO for this mishap. Don't be so sure he won't cancel your reservation if something more valuable comes up. I had driven 1.5 hours to Pinedale with 4 kids (age 2-7) in the car. Driving back wasn't an option. We were forced to stay at the Hampton (6 people). It wasn't pleasant. Travelers, beware!

Pinedale Classic

We enjoyed our stay Summer 2023. House was clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Pictures accurately depicted interior. The host, Tony, is welcoming and kind. He met us on arrival for a property tour. He stayed on the property in a garage studio during our stay. This is a great base for Wind River adventures.

Good location with easy access to pinedale and surrounding mountains

We spent our time driving up into the surrounding mountains and hanging out in the Pinedale park. The cabin is a 7 minute drive from the center of Pinedale. It was a good base for a relaxing trip.
