Just 1/2 miles to whitecap beach. You can bike around the neighborhood, with assigned parking .

Everything was perfect, horseback riding 11 minutes away and bob hall pier is 8 min.The room was nice and cozy and had everything I needed for my stay.

The room its self is very cozy and comfortable. It had a nice layout with more than enough room for my wife and I. The pool was a bit dirty the first evening but they had someone there by the next morning cleaning it up. The area around the pool was very nice and clean with a BBQ pit off to one corner. Down past the pool were some picnic tables and a nice fishing dock with lights for night fishing. We were able to catch trout, black drum, croker, and a variety of other fish. It was conveniently located about 5 minutes from everything. The owner of the property is very kind and responded to any messages quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. It was just right for our stay. Kitchen is well equipped and all necessary amenities were there. I would definitely stay again. The pool is nice and it's an easy walk to a nice beach.

Good for 2 people

Clean properties. the building is old, but it is clear that the rooms are being renovated. You have everything you need for comfort stay and of course the beach access is really close. For 2 people it's fair price and good deal. I didn't fishind but there is a good small pier. And it's quet.

Great place to stay!

The owner of this condo was very easy to deal with, very accommodating and nice! The condo was clean and well stocked and was a great location. Corpus Christi was a very relaxing vacation destination. The condo was so close to the beach which made it nice if you enjoy walking on the beach and hunting for seashells. Some great restaurants to enjoy there as well. Would definitely recommend this rental property.

Long Weekend

May was very responsive and helpful. Her unit was very close to the beach (we rode our bikes!), very close to the main strip but it was perfectly tucked away from traffic, pool and fishing area right outside the door. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Nice Studio

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in May's condo. The condo was spotlessly clean and perfect for a couple like us. May responded immediately to our communications, and answered all of our questions. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach. We will rent this unit again when we return to the coast. Thanks May!

Super value!

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here. We had a great time. The place is nice clean and cozy. The only issue we had was the bed. Please May get a new mattress! Otherwise everything was perfect and you can't beat the price!

Easy access to beach

Nice condo, little cramped for 2 adults and 2 kids but nice and cozy. Good location with 1/2 mile walk to beach which 2 year old did just fine twice a day. Must go to channel and look for turtles but be aware of the tip as there are dangerous waves that come over the top. Kids loved the pool and float toys available. Thanks

My favorite birthday memory

Our first time rebting a condo, Me and my lady loved it. We were really happy that there was somewhere we could do our laundry since we were in the middle of a week long trip. The place was really clean, it came stocked with all of the cooking utensil! Towels, camping chairs, and laundry detergent! There was a pool in the property which we used. The beach was within perfect walking distance.

Good value for the price

Nothing fancy, but May’s place does perfectly for an affordable stay near the beach! The pool was clean and great to cool off in, the apartment was clean and had several amenities. May was helpful and reached out often to ensure we had what we needed. Cable didn’t work, but we weren’t there to watch TV anyway! And May was very apologetic and offered to call and have it serviced. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at her place!

Thank you for your feedback, i still very feels sorry for the cable not working, actually I could prevent this happened , I had called spectrum many times about my cable box was wrong, they only showed me how to retrieved the cable box work. I should press harder to change my box . That is great lessons. Also great to hear you have great time . I felt much better. Again Thank you for staying in my vacation home.

Excellent Value and Location

This was our first try with HomeAway and it was awesome. The property we stayed at was better than we expected and the price was definitely right. The process was super easy and we received our confirmation quickly. It is hassle free on arrival. The keys were in a lock box on the door. They give you the code and you walk right in. In felt like a home away from home. It was very clean and had all of the accessories you would want. The beach is an easy walk probably closer to half a mile away. We would definitely stay again.

Good & Bad...but mostly GOOD

Hey we really enjoyed ourselves! The property itself seemed a little rundown but it served the purpose. The apt. was very comfortable but the balcony was not. That was really our only complaint. There was so much bird droppings everywhere on the balcony that we didn't even go out there at all. But...all in all, the place was very cozy for the 2 of us.

The bird are awesome that sing at the balcony every morning .love them . sorry for inconvenience for you . But , we enjoyed as they are there . I will make sure the balcony will clean in regular.

Enjoyable and comfortable 'home away from home'

We spent two months on North Padre Island and this studio apartment had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. While it is a studio apartment, it does have a full kitchen and bathroom, and a very comfy bed. It is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to many different restaurants. Our only disappointment was that the washers and dryers in the laundry room at the complex were dated and not reliable. Close to the end of our stay (and when we planned to do laundry before our drive home), the homeowners association removed the washers and dryers for maintenance. Other than that one issue, we really enjoyed out stay!

The HOA wants to change the vendor , they have been talking about it they have very quick action to move them right away. The new machines has been placed order. absolutely loved it

This was the best bang for the buck of any place my wife and I have ever stayed and this was for our 30th anniversary. It's not a 5 star hotel suite of which we have stayed and felt we wasted money on needless overtly fancy things like big waterfalls in foyers. This place is cozy and peaceful with the beach nearby for finding seashells or surf fishing, swimming, strolling, etc.... a canal right outside the room past the pool has a dock and you can catch perch as fast as the bait hits the water. I also saw the first loggerhead turtle I've ever seen in the wild just below where I was standing on the dock. The Boatside Grill and Tavern is a couple of blocks away and has great food and drinks at reasonable prices. We'll be back at least once a year!!! Thanks May!!!

Home away from home island style

My husband and I stayed here for a month and really enjoyed the location and ease of renting with this owner. It was exactly as the owner described and very clean. It is right on the canal and a short walk or drive to the beach. My husband fished a lot of this trip and caught lots of reds, drum, and trout. The condo is small, but cozy and we enjoyed the affordability for our month long trip from Abu Dhabi. It was perfect for a couple, but could probably not accommodate more than that comfortably. The bed size was smaller than we were used to but it fit the space. We liked that it had a full kitchen, internet access, and that it was a smaller building that was not noisy or crowded. The pool was nice-looking, although we didn't use it and the washer/dryer coin facilities were also useful for such a long stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable vacation getaway in a cozy little spot. The only problem we had was with the HOA president of this condo however the owner of this rental was supportive and helpful to us in resolving her concerns and we appreciate her for that. There are many great places to eat on the island, (La Palma, Snoopys), and off island (Pier 99, Hudat). Fishing is great down here and the water is just beautiful. The wind and fresh air are so lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location for a Getaway!

My husband and I loved this little condo! It is a prime location for fishing and beach-goers! The Perks 1)KITCHEN! You can do breakfast and lunch in the condo pretty inexpensively and then splurge on dinner. Or cook your catch from the private fishing pier! 2)Swimming and Fishing onsite! We love to fish and swim, but are not too keen on SAND, so as much as the beach has to offer--this had that and more. We caught fish day and night with fresh bait (available near causeway). Some of our catch were Lady Jacks, Sand Trout, Catfish, and a TOADFISH (first one we've caught and very strange looking). The pool is very well-kept and clean. 3) On-site Manager in case something isn't working or you have an issue (of course everything was perfect for us). 4) Easy access to the city. It is a 10 minute drive over the causeway to an HEB and Walmart if you need something. It's a 15 minute drive into Corpus Christi. we were able to go see a Hooks (Minor League Baseball) game. It was SO much fun! 5). Great food! On North Padre alone, you can find great local fare! We tried JB's German Bakery and went back a second time and purchased some pastries to go! They are amazing and all fresh-baked! The North Padre Island Burger is also a must-visit. It has a dive feel with WONDERFUL burgers! 6). Easy access to the beach. The condo is located less than a mile from the beach and you could easily walk if you feel up to. We drove down one morning to look, but not being beach people, quickly returned to the beautiful pool at the complex. :) This condo is a perfect stay for a couple or very small family. It is a studio style, so I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 or 3 people. If we visit Padre again, we will definitely be staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay, everyone around was friendly and very welcoming even the owner of the place. May was a really big help getting us situated and making sure everything went amazing with our trip. Would recommend checking this place out or even coming back to stay again. It’s even right there to the beach not a hassle to move or go, and that’s were we got engaged on 3/13/26! Newly engaged
