Amazing views

Welcome to Bay Breeze Escape! Amazing views from every room and porch. Enjoy sunsets overlooking Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge from multiple levels and decks. This custom built home has 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath with loft home is perfect for 1 or 2 families to enjoy in secluded Broadkill Beach (a hidden gem). Easy beach access across the street and over the dunes, where you can spend the day relaxing or enjoy a fire on the beach while watching the sunset during the evening. Close drive to downtown historic Milton, Lewes and Rehoboth. Enjoy the many decks and screened porches, while you escape from the stress of everyday life. A true get away!

This home features a reverse living floor plan, with upper floor living to enjoy the magnificent views. The first floor has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed with full private bath and direct access to fully screened in porch. There are two additional bedrooms on this level, each with a twin over full bunk bed set and access to the front porch. The hall bathroom is spacious with a full capacity washer/dryer combination.

The second floor has an open concept living area with dining, kitchen and living area open to a large screened in porch with views of Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. The kitchen is fully equipped with LG appliances, and a beverage fridge. The living area has a gas fireplace to enjoy on chilly evenings. The dining area has a table expands to fit 8, along with 5 seats at the island. In addition to the main living area there is a second master bedroom with queen bed, across the hall is a full bath with a tub. This additional bedroom has direct access to a front porch with views of the Delaware Bay.

The top floor is the loft with balcony. The loft has a game table, high definition TV, and queen size sofa bed for additional sleeping space. Enjoy the most magnificent panoramic views of the Delaware Bay, the Lewes Lighthouse, and Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge.

We do have a ring camera mounted on the piling under the house observing the driveway and stairway.

Bayside retreat

Our second stay here. House is lovely and comfortable with full screened porches on two levels overlooking marsh. Family enjoyed watching water birds and gorgeous sunsets. Bay is great for young kids, and right across the street. We loved the quiet setting, and easy access to Lewes for restaurants and small shops.

Amazing property and owners!

Sandy and Jake were so communicative whenever we needed them during our stay. The house was really nice and such a close walk to the beach. We were there with two young children, and running back to the house for a potty break was no issue at all. Our 4-year-old loved sleeping in a bunk bed, and our 2-year-old loved the all the decks he could sit on with his grandparents. What an awesome trip!

Beautiful & Quiet Sanctuary

The home has everything you could need. I highly recommend the property and the beach is very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a lot of action, this is not your place. We were 2 families if 4 and there was more than enough space. Everyone had a great time and we had no issues at all cooking several meals at home each day.

Beautiful home and location!

This was a beautiful home inside and out, beautiful, relaxing decor, many kitchen amenities, and spectacular sunsets over the marsh and sunrises from the top deck. We had a minor issue with cleaning that was quickly resolved. We appreciated all the beach gear, which saved precious car space. The house is well designed with multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces. We had 9 adults and never felt cramped.

Excellent retreat

This house is lovely with an ideal location if you are looking for a quiet beach retreat. The view out the back of the wildlife refuge is lovely, and the beach access is just across the street. The owners have thought of everything you might need, including everything you need for fun on the beach. This was our second year staying at this house and weā€™ll likely book again for next year.

Broadkill Beach Review

My family of 5 and my friendā€™s family of 5 just finished our one week stay at this property. The property was absolutely stunning and everything was exactly as listed. It was the perfect space for our group of 10. The only thing I would mention that I was not aware of, is that this property is along the bay. This was good and bad. It was a VERY quiet and even remote location. That was nice when you wanted to be the only ones on the beach, and wanted warmer water to swim In with NO waves. My three year old loved it and jumped in like it was a pool! However, if you wanted bigger waves, or needed to do any kind of shopping, everything was at least a 15-20 minute drive away. Otherwise - beautiful beach home that you will enjoy!!

Wonderful week at Broadkill Beach

We had a great vacation staying at Jake and Sandyā€™s beautiful new place. They were also wonderful hosts and made the whole experience easy. Weā€™ve been vacationing in Lewes on and off for a while now but had never stayed in Broadkill Beach. It was a terrific getaway and Iā€™m sure weā€™ll be back.

The house is amazing - so clean & has everything you could need at a beach house. Loved the multi decks - everyone had their own space but with plenty of family get together room. My grandson especially loved the top floor equipped with games & a super view of the ocean. A special thanks to the owners who went way beyond our expectations both in speedy communication & hospitality.

Serene bayside gem

Beautiful new house with screened decks on two levels overlooking marsh and steps away from beach. Well-appointed furnishings and well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed eating every meal on the deck, watching the myriad birds in the marsh. Quiet and uncrowded - Just what we were hoping for.

Excellent stay

Everyone had a terrific time at a new and beautiful property. Only suggestion, grab bars in all showers to make bathing easier and safer. I would give this property 6 out of 5. It is that nice.

Fantastic new home

My family had a great week at this house. The house is brand new and the owners paid a lot of attention to detail in setting everything up. The view out the back porch is fantastic, and when the temperature is good, you can open the sliding doors and have a big open space. Lots of good space for family members to have alone time on different porches. Our kids, ages 3 and 5, really enjoyed the play room and all the games and books at the house. The garage has everything you need for trips to the beach, with access just two houses down. Even in August, we practically had the beach to ourselves. The Primehook Wildlife Reserve has some really nice trails. We will definitely come here again!
