Rated 4 stars as a furnished vacation rental and 4 épis by Gîtes de France, the Cervolet Lodge is a comfortable, air-conditioned house with a private heated pool featuring a secure, low-roofed shelter under which guests can swim (8 x 4 m, 1.50 m deep) and access to the 50-hectare Rotière estate, featuring forests and ponds in the heart of the Loire Valley (6 km from Cheverny, 20 km from Blois and Chambord) and close to the Beauval Zoo (30 km). Right nearby, there are numerous forest trails for walks in search of wildlife or mushrooms, the “Château à Vélo No. 6” bike path just 300 m away, and guided or self-guided fishing available upon request... In the enclosed garden, you’ll find a lit pétanque court, badminton, ping-pong, molkky, a terrace with an electric griddle and an electric awning—a wonderful variety of recreational activities awaits you.
A place perfect for socializing, with its long open kitchen—promising cozy meals and a variety of board games for young and old alike around the large solid oak table—or simply relaxing, listen to music, or chat late into the night on the sofas in the sitting area (including a sofa bed with a 140-cm sleeping surface). In winter, the fire crackles in the open fireplace.
On the first floor, a large bedroom, the bathroom, and the restroom feature amenities that meet certain criteria for accommodating guests with limited mobility.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds), a bathroom with a shower, and a separate restroom.
Bath linens (2 towels) are provided, the beds are made, routine cleaning at the end of your stay is included, and shower gel and shampoo are available in the bathrooms.
