The Starboard at M is a newly renovated, pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath home in Galveston's Historic Lost Bayou District — the upper-right unit of a beautifully kept triplex at 1705 Avenue M, less than 10 blocks from the beach in multiple directions. Sleeps 6.

THE SPACE — LIVING AREA & KITCHEN
A comfortable living area welcomes you with a leather sofa, generous natural light, and a smart TV — the perfect place to gather after a beach day. The adjacent dining area and full kitchen come equipped with stainless steel appliances (full refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove) plus a Keurig and starter k-cups.

THE SPACE — BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
The primary bedroom features a queen poster bed with a backyard view, a ceiling fan, and a reading chair. The second bedroom offers two queen beds and a roomy closet. A full bath with a renovated stand-up shower and a separate half bath give everyone space to get ready. Linens and towels are provided, and an in-unit washer and dryer keep your suitcase light.

THE SPACE — OUTSIDE
Enjoy a covered front porch for morning coffee, a shared backyard to relax in, and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. An EV charger plug-in is available on site.

PLEASE NOTE — UNIT ACCESS
This property is one of three distinct units in a triplex. Guests booking The Starboard at M have exclusive access to the upper-right unit (address 1705) only — not the entire building. Outdoor common areas such as the front porch and backyard may be shared with guests in the other units if those units are booked during your stay.

LOCATION
In the Historic Lost Bayou District of Galveston, TX — under 5 minutes to the beach, Moody Gardens, and Schlitterbahn, and about 50 minutes from Houston via I-45.

Peaceful and convenient base for NASA and Galveston

We stayed in this house for 2 nights to avoid driving in the Houston area during rush hours and to be close to NASA space center. It was a very quiet residential neighborhood, very close to the Seawall and the Strand. The house has just 1 shower in one of the baths, but that wasn't a problem after all. With no convenience stores nearby, we had to plan accordingly to have something to eat and drink in the mornings before we left for our excursions. Overall, it was a very good experience!

Dickens on the Strand

This was our second year staying at this house and it’s always a great time. It’s a perfect location, has everything we need and the owners are great to work with. We will definitely book again.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had an amazing time enjoying Galveston. We had a small issue but the owner was very responsive and took care of it right away. Would recommend the get location!

Great spot

This house is so cute and perfectly located for all we wanted to do. Gareth was very responsive and a breeze to work with. I would highly recommend staying here and will probably book again in the future.

Great place

Great location. Nice neighborhood quiet street. Easy and enjoyable bicycle ride to seawall. Beaches were clean, seaweed, jellyfish, and tar balls free. Easy drive to port and The Strand.
