Walking distance to restaurants, golf course, tennis courts, cross country skiing & hiking trails - We offer 2 kayaks & 2 paddle boards for your use. There are 6 BR'S, each w/a private full bath. Antiques and camp furnishings throughout- A gourmet kitchen with granite & stainless appliances awaits you. The luxury camp's kitchen is totally equipped with the finest cooking needs - One king, 3 queen & 4 twin beds. Sleeps 12. Hear the loons from the windows & watch the magnificent sunrise...There is original artwork throughout, two grand stone fireplaces, a wrap-around porch (partially screened), an all season sun porch, full laundry room & much more. If you are looking for the perfect place for a family gathering, a group of friends, or small business meeting , this at a truly one-of-a-kind four season vacation destination, Camp Bearberry is for you. Relax and enjoy the Adirondacks in style. There is a level, short walk to the dock. Pontoon boat available for an additional fee. A level lawn for games. Cleaning fee is $395. Bearberry was a comfortable beautifully decorated Adirondack home. The kitchen was fully equipped. The waterfront was beautiful with kayaks and paddle boards available. The 6 bedrooms 6 1/2 bathrooms allowed everyone personal space. It is a treasure house.

have plenty of room in this great old home with a great cabin feel. Direct view of the lake and along backyard with a dock. Two neighbors on either side directly on the lake but they were kind and happy to have us. Lots of snow and lots of single-digit temps while we were there. Used the fireplace a ton and the Wi-Fi - both worked great and there was a huge stack of firewood. Everything you can think of was provided at the house.

The house (and lakefront) was marvelous, and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Have been to many vacation homes and this is definitely one of the best. And, yes, also get the boat!

We had a great time - family meals,game nights. The dock and porch were excellent for family time . There were kayaks and paddle boards available and a pontoon boat to rent that was on site . We had an excellent family vacation

Camp Bearberry

This is a beautiful, lakefront property with stunning views of the tall peaks. The house is a true Adirondack retreat. Easy access to town and all that LP has to offer make this a great rental property.

Fabulous rental for extended family getaway

Camp Bearberry was a great place for our 3-generation family of 8 adults + 4 children. We appreciated having bathrooms for each bedroom and the well-stocked kitchen. We made full use of the two porches, spacious dock, yard and direct lake access.The only thing we needed was more sunny days!

Lake placids best

Beautiful adirondack lodge right on lake placid with well appointed kitchen and beautiful vintage adirondack decorations throughout. Superb location with peaceful setting just a few minutes to town. Easy communication with the host at all times. Would reccomend anyone come enjoy the beautiful setting .Beddings were very comfortable and large fireplace set the tone of warmth in tge home.

Wonderful Holiday Getaway

Second time staying at Kathie and Gary's home with my adult family. Just delightful. The home is beautifully decorated for the holidays and the 6 bedrooms, each with a en suite, was perfect for us. Kathie is a lovely host and communications could not have been easier. Look forward to our next stay.

Great Fa.ily Vacation

What an incredible place to stay at. The house is beautiful and perfect for a family with a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance necessary. The yard is incredible right down to the water. You should definitely rent their pontoon boat because it makes the lake even that much nicer. The hosts were wonderful and always available if you had Any questions.. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we can't wait to go back!

Awesome Location

Our growing family thoroughly enjoyed the house, yard, dock, boat, kayaks, and the lake/mountain views. Well stocked kitchen, large screen porch, large open porch, nice bedrooms. The small beach area and yard were great for the grandkids. Anything we seemed to need, was there or the owners got it for us. The owners were responsive and available.

Wonderful Experience

This home is just wonderful...spacious, comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Kathi and Gary are the most gracious hosts...so helpful and responsive to any need. The location on Lake Placid couldn't be better...beautiful views of the lake and Whiteface Mountain...close to restaurants and amazing trails. Don't think twice...it will be a great experience to stay at Camp Bearberry!

In our opinion, Lake Placid is HEAVEN ON EARTH. It offers a 4 season location with breathtaking beauty. Enjoy all of the Olympic venues plus tobogganing, sledding, rock climbing, photography, hiking, swimming, fishing, tubing, golfing, tennis. The list goes on.

We are 5 minutes to town & Main Street. 25 minutes to Whiteface Mountain. Views of Whiteface Mountain & the High Peaks are incredible. No matter what the weather or season...it doesn't get any better or more serene a setting & location. Play games at the game table, relax with friends & family in front of the fireplace, enjoy the screened porch facing the lake...sit on the dock with your favorite book.....The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you will need. There is an extra bar area to set up a buffet for your guests...The sunroom (4 season) is a place to spend time alone with lots of light.
