Welcome to Little Beauty Cottage! This cozy cottage is overlooking Taylorsville Lake, located in Edgewater Resort, is the perfect getaway. This beautiful 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Cottage is conveniently located on the Bourbon Trail, a short distance from the Taylorsville Marina, Golf, and Shopping.

The space
Our cottage offers two bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite includes a king size bed, private bath, television, and a personal entrance to the back deck and hot tub. The back deck is the perfect place to unwind overlooking Taylorsville Lake. You can relax in the hot tub or enjoy a meal from the grill outdoors at the patio table. The second bedroom features two twin beds, a closet, and dresser. The open floor plan of the living room and kitchen provides a great place to gather or to enjoy a quiet movie by the fireplace. The kitchen comes fully furnished for all of your dining needs. A few extra amenities you may enjoy in our cottage include: a washer and dryer, Keurig, coffee maker, kitchen radio, DVD player, hair dryer, complimentary Wifi, and more! This Little Beauty is ready for you!

Getaway to the bourbon trail

The property was a perfect stay while we visited Louisville and the surrounding bourbon distilleries. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in the area.

Perfect tranquil get-a-way

Wonderful location, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub was perfect with the lake view. Will definitely stay again!

Overall wonderful place, easy check in, easy to extend one night, peaceful quiet area. Only issue was operating the television, Too many remotes and way too easy to stray from the not so specific instructions. Bedroom TV was super easy, turn it on scroll through channels the livingroom TV was very frustrating. To the point we had to call for a technician to get the TV to work on our last day.

Bourbon Trail Vacation

This property was just exactly as listed. Beautiful location right in the middle of the Bourbon Trail and a great view of the lake! We will definitely visit this location again!

Very quiet place

Very quiet and peacefull. A relaxing place to stay. Nice to watch the sunset from the hot tub. Host even left snacks, flowers, coffees , a bottle of wine and everything needed for a great getaway. We enjoyed our stay and will return for sure.

Perfect two bedroom house! Excellent host , a lot of unexpected extras, updated , private balcony , nice view, easy check in , clean etc. If you are looking for a property in the area select this one. You will not be disappointed !!

Perfect spot for recharging your batteries

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Spotless clean and well appointed with everything we needed. It is a quiet location and nice for families. The wine and flowers when we arrived as well as the snacks and water were greatly appreciated. We were visiting for the Kentucky Derby and it was so rainy. Coming back to this little cottage was warm and inviting. I would definitely book this property again. It felt safe and comfortable.

A home away from home

This home was extremely clean and welcoming. As a family of 4 it seemed to have the perfect amount of space for us. We enjoyed the snacks and flowers on arrival. The keyless entry code made it very easy to come and go, as well as get into the house right when we got there. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond. We all really enjoyed our stay here. :)

Family Fun

What a perfectly lovely little cottage this was for this Texas teacher & her daughter to meet up with our cousins in Kentucky. It was clean, bright, quiet & the basket of treats & water were such a nice touch! The back deck was the perfect spot to enjoy wildlife while drinking coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. I wish we had booked a longer stay! Any questions we had had were quickly responded to by the owner.

Beautiful Cottage!

What a beautiful little house! I think I said "this is the cutest place ever!" six times after arriving! Everything was clean, bright, and comfortable. There was a bottle of wine and a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for us upon arrival. All the 'extras' were so much appreciated after the long drive ... bottled waters, snacks, Keurig coffee pods and creamer and especially appreciated were the thermacell portable mosquito repellent canisters (with refills!). We used them every night while on the deck or in the hot tub. There was nothing we needed for our six-day stay. A charming place. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!!

Lovely and peaceful cottage

Cottage was immaculate and we loved the welcome bouquet and notes. Front and back porches were a great place for coffee and conversation. Four star rating is due mainly to the extremely firm mattresses on the twin beds. We bought egg crate foam toppers which solved the problem. The kitchen was small with no place to store food. There are plenty of towels provided but only one towel rack - no place to hang a hand towel or washcloth at the sink. (Minor annoyance). But oh my what a lovely location! Overall a very good value for the price.

Beautiful cottage

Spent the weekend at this beautiful cottage. Weather was great for us to enjoy the back patio view and hot tub! We visited a few distilleries and wineries in the area. A great place to stay!

Anniversary celebration

We celebrated our 19th anniversary here. It's cute., clean and close to the bourbon trail. We loved the hot tuba nd the view. We would surely stay here again!

Beautiful-Peaceful-Unit

Our stay was very nice!! Our unit was beautiful an very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Fireplace as it was very cold outside. The Hot Tub was nice. It was nice an quiet! We would recommend this to our friends and family!

Lake view

This cottage was clean and well appointed. You do have a view of the lake. The deck was a very nice feature. I would imagine the view would be even better in the fall.

Perfect

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The Hot Tub was clean and hot when we got there which was perfect after a 9 hour drive. From the porch you can see the lake and the woods, watching the boats and the lighting bugs from the Hot Tub was a great time! The pool was a close walk and was really nice. You can drive down to the Marina or a longer walk, bring some quarters to buy some fish food to feed the fish at the Marina if you have kids. Town was close for anything that you would need. The state park is a short drive and has a lot of hiking trails. It was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again!

Clean property and well kept. Bed and couch could use upgrade and sinks drain extremely slow. Hot tub dated also but very enjoyable trip
