The deck is expansive and has an excellent view of the ocean north to south, and everything you would need in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, no highway noise, plenty of ocean noise

Awesome Views

This property has awesome ocean views from the minute you walk in the door. The beach feels almost like it is private. Our family had a wonderful stay.

The property was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group of 7. We enjoyed the provided binoculars, looking for seals and such. The water pressure was amazing. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. A choice of newer pillows would have been nice.

Redwood NP getaway

Wonderful property just north of Redwood National Park with easy access to Crescent City, CA and the parks. We loved having the windows open at night to listen to the ocean waves. And on our last evening we had a bonfire on the beach. Great home for young adults/teens.

Perfect Family Home

The property manager responded quickly to any questions I had and gave a lot of information about the area. The home was perfect for our family. The location was beautiful and close to so many of the things we wanted to do.

Beautiful view, stay was okay.

The house is nice, could use a little update, the owner seemed nice but a little intrusive, multiple emails on our three day stay, also he sent a person (repair person) to the house, she just walked right in the house we are staying in, didn’t knock or anything, we did not call for any repairs or assistance for anything. I loved the location, the house had plenty of towels and all we needed. Beds were comfortable.

Holiday Beach Vacation

Girls coast trip

The house was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. The view would have been better without the tree that is in front of the kitchen window. The host was very reachable if we needed anything.

Beautiful home ..Excellent location

We have stayed in many VRBO's over the past 20 years and we give this location a definite return too! It was spacious, well taken care of, lots to do , the kitchen was large ! We enjoyed the walks on the beach ... the steps were not to bad .. and we were so close to brookings for groceries, restaurants, music and shopping! We even walked the beach to the Oregon border and back which was only 4.25 miles! We will rent again in the future for sure!!

Parents 40th Anniversary Stay

My folks loved the home. Said it had lovely decor, was very clean, felt safe, had comfortable beds and amazingly views. They loved it. Being in their 70's the only issue was getting to work the tv. They had difficulty getting normal channels. Wanted to watch the Ducks game but couldn't figure it out. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Lovely spacious house. Loved the open kitchen/living room. Ocean view with access to a great beach (steep path but well maintained) . Well stocked kitchen (with the exception of a colander). Comfortable beds with king in master bedroom, full (king would be good instead) in downstairs bedroom, bunk beds in 3rd small bedroom. Bring your own Pack N Play if you need one. House met our expectations, well described in listing. Location good. Trees of Mystery close, shopping close, many beaches close. We would rent this house again.

Great Stay

Loved the location and the view! Walk to beach was a little steep but doable. Private and gorgeous with plenty of drift wood for a Beach Fire. Only complaint would be hot water availability, suggestion would be to get a bigger water heater to accommodate 6-7 people as this place allows. We had to rotate showers, laundry, and dishes. Kept them quick, and allowed time in between but a few of us ended our warm shower on cold even so. My husband resorted to the showers he took in Iraq. Get wet. Soap up with water off, and then quick rinse off. Kitchen was amazing and had a lot of extra items that we had packed along and didn't need to use. Plenty of things to do and in nearby surrounding areas and close to the Redwoods too!

I Cleaned Upon Arrival

Pros: Amazing view, great location near the Redwoods, lots of tips for people new to the area, quiet neighborhood, really clean beach with a wonderful group of pelicans that we watched feed every night.Cons: I am not going to add pictures here, but I do have them. The house was not clean when we arrived, and overall just needs a good scrub. Don't use the top oven, there is grease on the bottom that smokes when you heat it up. I expected some sand, not a big deal. I did not expect to sweep up food crumbs, hair, and even some toenail clippings. I pulled a dish out of the cabinet that looked like it had been buttered and then put away. We paid a hefty damage deposit (refundable), yet the firepit was broken upon arrival. There was an empty White Claw can on the patio. I notified the property manager and he did not apologize for the cleaning that I had done, but did confirm that the firepit was broken and offered to send different cleaners the following morning. We didn't hear from them again until check out. A previous reviewer noted that the house is dated and this is accurate. My family also owns a beach rental and at some point, you need to replace the blinds and windows that have rusted from the salt, as well as the furniture that gets stained over time. The sectional upstairs was in three pieces when we got there, I think we fixed it but the arms might still need adjusting. Only two pods available for laundry, if you have a group you will want to bring your own.

Wonderful Home!

This is a lovely home with large windows and views of the ocean both upstairs and downstairs. The community beach access is a few doors to the right at the end of the shared driveway. The home was spotless. Leo was easy to contact and responded quickly. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic ocean front private park home

Large and gracious home…beautifully appointed with all you need to enjoy a family vacation. Stunning 180 degree ocean views….large deck and windows out looking to the sea….super clean…private setting yet close to Brookings and a short walk to beach down nearby stairs (a bit steep but could do even with bad knees)…so many nature places to visit nearby…..Bring your floaters and spend a day at Loeb park on the Chetco River ….they have nice day picnic sites in the trees and it’s a gorgeous drive to it along the north side of the Chetco River…the guys loved surf fishing at Chrissy Field Beach and we hiked in fabulous Jeb Smith park….so much to enjoy….you won’t regret renting this lovely home….
