We have our own association outdoor pool! No indoor pools with this condo.
BRAND NEW KITCHEN WITH LARGE REFRIDGERATOR and updated bathrooms. Please disregard any negative reviews related to the kitchen because this new one is beautiful!

Choose this condo to make new family memories or get togther with friends to unwind and have a great time!
This 800 square foot 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo sits on the first hole of the Schuss Golf course with a nice view of the mountain.

* Special parking lot for boats and trailers. No boats or trailers are allowed in a condo parking lot*


Master bedroom has a queen bed.
2nd bedroom has a full bed and 2 bunks. Perfect for a family or 2 small families.

We have some of the best golf courses in Michigan. We are on the Schuss and there is The Chief, The Legend, Summitt, Hawkseye, The Farm.
Many of our guests use our condos as a home base for day trips. You will only be 30-40 minutes from Charlevoix, Petoskey and Traverse City. Shop, go to the casinos, fish, boat on beautiful Torch Lake, sail in the Bay, go to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Bellaire has wonderful restaurants, quaint shopping and you'll find a grocery store and some specialty food shops to stock up your condo and cook a great meal. Swim, boat, use the pools and hot tubs, sight see. There is always something to do.

Schuss Village is a great all year destination. We are located 5 miles from Bellaire, where Shorts Brewery and other bars and restaurants are located.
Quick day trips in all directions from Shanty Creek will take you to the towns of:
Traverse City - 30 miles
Petoskey- 30 miles
Torch Lake- 10 miles
Lake Bellaire, Central Lake, and Intermediate Lake are all nearby.

We offer a special boat parking area at the main lodge.

Great stay close to family nearby

My family loved our weekend stay here. At the base of Schuss Mountian and right on the golf course. It was a great location to explore the area. Comfy furniture and well equipped! Thank you for a great stay!

Nice property, convenient location

Stayed 3 nights, contact with property manager was excellent. Excellent location for a golf weekend. Shuttle doesn't pickup at this location, but will at the Schuss Mtn. Golf Shop. Beds were extremely comfortable. Nice view of ski hill and hole 1 fairway.

Small but comfortable

Cute little condo. We had some issues with the stove top and only two burners which was a downside for 6 people. Living room and bedroom were nice and cold. However, the middle room with double bunks had no airflow and was rather hot as we stayed during the heat of summer. Everything else was good!

We loved it here ! Nice and quiet :) host was quick to answer questions. Unit was clean and well stocked, loved being able to make our own food and such. Wish the lake and other pools were a bit closer (within walking). A lot of the stuff to do is a little drive away. Definitely would come back to this resort area.

All in all good

We got there in one of the garbage is had garbage in it. There were some hairballs in different areas. In the bathmat in the queen room, you need a new one that one was gross. But great location in the kitchen update looked really nice.

Inaccurate Listing BEWARE !!

Everything was great except that the listing said that bedroom 2 had a bunk bead and 3 additional beds 2 queen and a king. This is not true, there is only a bunk bed and a queen in the 2nd bedroom. Lucky for me that one of my party couldnt go so we had enought beds.

I am very sorry that this guest mis -read the description. There is no where in this listing that lists 2 queen a king and bunk beds in 1 bedroom. The pictures of the bedrooms very clearly show what we have. We have a queen in the master and a set of full size bunk beds and a full size bed in the 2nd bedroom. This is an 800 sq ft condo. I don't even know what else to say other than please disregard this review.

Not quite what we expected

Even though TV and wi fi not a priority it was not easy to find the codes/passwords even with instructions. How to lock the property was not included in instructions, difficult to figure out w/o that. Updates needed with fridge- did not get cold enough to make ice, and furnishings. Great view, quiet and beds confortable

I am very sorry that this guest was not happy with her stay. She did not reach out at all for assistance. Someone is always available to help. We have the simplest door lock they make and a guest book with wifi passwords. I can't make it any easier and had she reached out I would have been happy to assist. Please do not let this deter you from choosing this value priced condo.

Needs some repairs/updates

We enjoyed the area, the unit and it was a comfortable space. We missed having a full size refrigerator, the commode in the main bedroom did not function well (would not flush, water ran continually and I turned the water off to prevent it from running nonstop. The other issue we had the smoke alarm sounded several times, and needed new batteries. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, the towels were plentiful and of good quality. Was nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit but we found laundry in the dryer that had been left when we did use the washer and wanted to put it in the dryer. We had a enjoyable time but found the unit was showing its age.

Location great, condo not so clean

I was referred by my brother to stay at Schuss Mountain Golf Course. He has taken his family snow tubing and mentioned the condos. Upon researching and reviews we chose the Monte Villa. Upon entering the Villa, I immediately noticed stained carpet. Not 1 or 2 stains, a lot of stains. I had to clean the mini refrigerator, the front door would not lock when leaving, my husband and son were walking into cobwebs, top bunk bed was broken, sheets and pillow cases were left in the dryer, which were the equivalent of 2 loads so how clean were those sheets? The property manager was easy to communicate with. They did have someone come look at the lock and after a few tries we could lock it. It did take several tries but would lock. Property manager did offer to have someone come look at the bed, but there was enough room for my family and did not want to be bothered on vacation. Overall, I would go back but stay in a different location.

I completely appologize for this guests experience and I will be reaching out to her to offer a future discount at one of my other properties. This condo is value based and does need some updates. Carpet is in the plans. It is not dirty. We have cleaned it but there are stains that won't come out. The refrigerator is not dirty. It is old as well and will be replaced. If you are looking for an upscale stay I have many other options. If you are on a budget and won't be at the condo much this is fine. One thing I am not sure about is the linen. Our linen is clean. There was clean linen in the dryer not dirty linen.

Perfect for a short getaway up north

A little hard to find because the condo number was not visible from the parking lot… (on the back side) but a very cozy stay with everything we needed. We loved it!!!

CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals LLC has grown from one condo to now 16 condos in Schuss Village near Bellaire Michigan. Our area has something to do year around. Winter, skiing both downhill and cross country, dog sledding, tubing. Summer has endless fun things to do. Golf, boating, biking, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, canoeing and kayaking. A major attraction is Shorts Brewery in Bellaire. The quaint town of Bellaire is 6miles away. 15 minutes away you can spend the day on Torch Lake and stop at the Dockside restaurant for dinner.
