Cabin with bar area and pool table-located in Stephenson, MI

When you arrive you will find a small updated cabin with everything you will need to have a nice relaxing getaway! Outback there is a fire pit area surrounded by the perfect string lighting with comfy chairs and a swing-firewood is provided! Wild raspberries and blackberries grow along the woods right out the back door! Inside you can cozy up to the fireplace and wood burning stove during the cold months. Have some fun in the garage/bar area playing pool, darts, and other bar games. The garage has A/C and heat options! Also find entertainment in the two TVs equipped with Firestick streaming/roku, choose from the large variety of DVDs, or listen to some music! The kitchen has everything you will need to cook meals and there is also a charcoal grill outside (charcoal not provided). The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance to a lake. This area is great for ATV riding, kayaking, and fishing. Beautiful place during all four seasons!

Beautiful area to stay especially in fall. Overall our stay was very nice. The bedrooms and beds were clean as was the bathroom. Kitchen was updated and is very nice. Living room furniture could be updated, one chair had what looked like a cigarette burn in it and the couch was not comfortable. In one bedroom the dresser was collapsing but we didn’t need it anyway. The bar in the garage was nice. Beds were comfortable. The a/c unit in the window needs replacing as it’s seen better days. With just a few updates this place would be amazing. The host also got back to me promptly every time. Would recommend staying here.

The house exceeded all our expectations!! Very clean and comfy. The pool table and the bar in the garage was our favorite! Chelsea is a very responsive host and I would definitely recommend booking with her!

Relaxation in the woods

A wonderful place to listen to the birds and sit by the fire while sipping coffee. Peaceful and relaxing. Pool table is an added bonus on a rainy day. Hosts are very responsive and caring.

Great place to get away and relax. Nice restaurants a little drive away. We went to Escanaba one day and enjoyed Lake Michigan and the lighthouse.

This home was so beautiful along with the property. My children absolutely loved the rec room and the baby loved the out doors and all the lights. Communication was amazing and tentative. Remote and Quiet

Wonderful property with ample space and amenities. Outdoor and indoor space made a couple of rainy/colder days fly by. Property is off a dirt road with limited to no cell service but that was what we were looking for. Walking distance from a boat launch & a quick 10 min drive to excellent fishing. There is lots of wildlife and you can sit by the fire or on back porch to take it all in. Had all the dishes, bedding, towels and space to accommodate our vacation. Would highly recommend!

A Slice of Heaven!

Staying on this property was my husband and I, are 17 year old daughter, and our 34 year old son with his wife and 4 yr old daughter. We liked this location as our two other son's families were camping at nearby Shaky Lakes Park. This was our first VRBO experience and it couldn't have been better. The owners have nearly instant replies to our questions. Anything we could have needed was there. So well stocked. Firewood, tinder, S'mores tools. Ice maker, bar games, pool table, darts. Garage door opens and they have screens so you can bring the outdoors in. Well stocked kitchen including some spices, coffee, and even a 'junk drawer' if you need a battery or screwdriver. I just can't explain enough how everything you might need is there! It is in such a beautiful setting. Loved sitting in the back with my morning coffee and then having a fire in the evening. This place is impressive and you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much to our hosts!

U.P. Getaway

It was an all around wonderful birthday weekend for my husband and I. We were able to unplug from the world and technology and enjoy each others company and the outdoors. The cabin was so relaxing. We enjoyed making a fire and walking the trails with our dogs. Also had fun playing several rounds of pool and grilling out on the acorn. Escanaba isn’t far where you can visit the brewery or winery, depending your taste. The dog park is not far from Upper Hand Brewery and they are dog friendly on the patio;) When we travel, we like to bring our dogs with us and the cabin welcomed us all. We look forward to staying in the future:)

Perfect Getaway

It was a great place to stay especially for a few days! We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend! Make sure to bring bug spray though because it is fairly remote, which we loved.

Quiet and accommodating

I was looking for a long weekend in a quiet place and this was it. The owners were very accommodating and the kitchen had all the items one would need to make whatever you bring from the store. The outdoor area is also very nice, and the game room / garage is also a neat conversion.
