A larger and very comfortable lake cottage in Northern Wisconsin letting you be “Up North” without roughing it! A couple’s quiet retreat, great family escape, deer camp or golf get-away! Exceptionally private and quiet on 1.6 wooded acres & pristine shoreline. Set elevated looking over a small "no motors" lake (“Kettle”) part of a 5 lake chain. Over 300 feet of natural and sandy lake frontage. Numerous “virgin growth” White Pine, Hemlock, Maple and Oak trees on property stand over 100 feet tall. Level 2 EV charging including a Tesla adapter. Drive directly on to ATV & Snowmobile Trails. Walk out to Swimming, Fishing, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding. Larger "motor" lakes with boat landings downstream and upstream for Water Skiing/Tubing/Jet Skiing. Wonderful Family Retreat!

We were here for a family reunion, and it was the perfect backdrop for our gathering. The home was wonderful and the views are spectacular and everything was absolutely perfect! So grateful!

Beautiful home at a beautiful location.

Great summer stay

This property provided everything we were looking for over our 4th of July weekend. The property is locate on a Great Lake for a refreshing swim and some fishing off the dock or in a kayak. The hot tub was very relaxing and the kitchen had everything we needed to BBQ. Highly recommend for your next cabin trip in northern Wisconsin!

Great house in the Northwoods

The house was everything that we had hoped it to be. The icing on the cake was having a Loon on the lake in the morning. I would highly recommend this property and when we travel back to Wisconsin we will try and rent there again.

Another successful stay!

Second time staying, same excellent experience as last summer! Kids broke a kayak paddle, I proactively contacted the owner, and they had a replacement the day after we checked out. Great communication! Looking forward to next summer!

Weekend Trip

Pros: Nice, clean, quiet place as advertised. Peaceful lake and beach area for the kids. Well kept cabin and yard area. Cons: Check in and out times are a bit inconvenient. Cameras are a bit excessive, including the one inside the house.

Sorry you didn’t bring this concern to our attention earlier in your stay. All cameras are part of our Ring Security system. In the VRBO description of our property and the welcome note our Ring Security system is properly disclosed. Also disclosed, is that all cottage sensors and cameras are disabled when our system is disarmed for the duration of any guest stay. The one in our lower level storage area monitors a thermometer for our well plumbing as this is an uninsulated space and must not freeze in winter. Again..by default all devices are disabled when our Ring system is disarmed. We are learning with each VRBO rental of our property including improved security and are also researching how guests might be able to arm the entry sensors with a “guest code” for their own added protection at night. Travel safely.

Family Get Together

Fantastic time had by all, and everyone said we should come back next year! We had rain on one of the days and there was plenty of room to play games on the porch. Fun was had by all. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect first time rental, great place!

Perfect amount of room for four adults and four young kids. First time renting a house and it worked out wonderful. Property was fantastic and kept the kids busy for 5 days. Made a lot of use of the pier, the canoe and paddle boat, the nice sandy beach, and the fire pit. Hot tub on the enclosed porch was also a hit. Plenty of room for anything you need to bring. Will definitely try to book again next year!

Great location and wonderful host!!

The place is more of a house than a cabin and as soon you we pulling up to the house you could see how well it is maintained. Dan had a nice welcome gift waiting for us in the kitchen area. We loved how his place feels like a home. It was the ideal location to relax and unwind. The house is surrounded by trees and over looks the lake when we spent hours relaxing on the raft, swimming and floating and using the paddle boat. We are already planning and a return trip.

Great 1st time using Vrbo

Great first time experience using Vrbo. Communication with host was quick & helpful. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, (plus a few staples), bathroom items, fans (no A/C), linens, pillows, and even laundry soap. Hot tub got lots of use, especially on rainy days. Felt like almost a private lake, so quiet & peaceful. Our family of 8 had a wonderful time at lake house and fun things to do in nearby towns.

Family reunion

Our entire family had a very enjoyable few days on Kettle Lake. Dan met us there and explained the key process, so all we had to do was unpack and relax. The spa was wonderful!! All the amenities and lots of extras were included. We used the fire pit, the paddleboat and the canoe. We even caught (and released) a few nice fish. Great time was had by all!!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much, the weather could've been better to enjoy the lake and yard more but we still got out on the paddle boat and out to the raft a few times. The beds are comfortable and Dan was very helpful when needed.

Loved it!

This stay was one of our best! The hosts at this cabin are 5-star hosts hands down. They presented every thoughtful detail from welcome gifts, extra linens, snacks, games, towels, detergent, a hot tub and more. The cabin is kitschy and cute in the best way possible, we spent all day on the dock fishing, floating, rowing and stargazing. Wonderful time, we would love to return.

Hunting trip with Dad and Brothers

The property was clean, and just as listed. Plenty of room for us (although kitchen is a little small). Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider for a future trip. Daniel was very available and even had a welcome gift when we got there -great hosts.

Peace and tranquility!

My husband and I needed a week-long getaway in the Northwoods to cure our NDD (nature deficit disorder), and found the perfect place! We relished the peace and quiet every day. The no-motor lake that is steps away is so beautiful and the fishing is great! The property is very charming and well taken care of. The bigger lakes are minutes away and the ATV trails run right through the subdivision, so bring your fishing boat and ATV! Dan is so responsive and answered all our questions quickly. We will be back! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation! P.S. Dan, if you staged the Loons, Sandhill Cranes, and deer, it was perfect!!

The Host is the son of the original owners. Like many cottages “Up North”, family & friends have gathered here to reconnect with nature and each other. I am keeping the property in our family for others to enjoy. We’ve recently added lots of TLC upgrades to make it even more comfortable inside and out. We are happy to host guests that will treat the property like it is their own….and just relax and have some fun!

This part of Wisconsin has abundant wildlife, trails and lakes. The property is on a smaller no motors lake great for kayaking, swimming, fishing and relaxing. There are regular sightings of Deer, Bald Eagles, Loons, Barred Owls, Wood Ducks, Beavers and more. “Catch and Release” fishing is appreciated by residents and visitors. Most of the roads surrounding the lakes are paved and great for bicycling, running and walking. Langlade County is ATV and Snowmobile friendly. Bring your “toys” as there are numerous boating and water skiing lakes nearby.
