Located in the quiet neighborhood of Cathedral Canyon Cove, it’s a one-of-a-kind mid-century modern beauty built in 1956 with the original Meiselman/Alexander style bones and updated features throughout. The open floor plan spaciously accommodates 6 guests and seamlessly connects to the pool deck through a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows for indoor/outdoor living at its best. Step outside to the private backyard, with views toward Joshua Tree, the San Jacinto mountains and the Coachella Valley. Enjoy private sunrises, sunsets and stargazing by the pool and outdoor firepit in this oversized private 19,000 square foot lot.
Cook and dine inside or out. The indoor kitchen features a stainless-steel gas stove, a refrigerator with ice maker and a dishwasher along with coffee grinders, coffee and espresso makers, teapots, a toaster and ample kitchen utensils. The indoor dining table is set for 4 but can comfortably seat 6 - perfect for after dinner card and board games. In addition, the indoor island has 3 stools. The patio area showcases a Dyna-Glo Signature Series Smoker and a large stainless steel BBQ grill for all your outdoor cooking needs. The outdoor dining table easily seats 8 and comes with an overhead fan for those warm days or evenings.
The interior of the house is thoughtfully laid out - the bedrooms are in opposite corners of the home providing privacy and seclusion from the central living area. The three bedrooms offer 2 king beds and one queen - all with luxury linens and ample closet space. Wind down with your favorite shows on the large smart TV in the living room with an elegant gas fireplace and comfortable stylish chairs and sofas. All bedrooms have smart TVs with at least 200mbps of Wi-Fi throughout the home. The recently updated bathrooms are spacious and well-lit with walk-in showers and lots of drawer space for your stay. The full-sized front-loading washer and dryer are new and available for your use.
Make this your new home office! Each bedroom can accommodate a desk and office chair. Two seated workstations and one optional stand-up station are available.
The heated pool sits just outside the wall of sliding doors. The pool deck has lounge chairs for sun-seekers and a shaded outdoor "living room" for all occasions. The west side of the yard is the perfect space for outdoor games. Pool toys and floats are stored in the secure shed for your use. The outdoor gas firepit, with its oversized umbrella, is the perfect perch to watch the activities during the day or the lights in Coachella Valley at night.
The ample well-lit driveway and carport are available to you and your guests. There is also a separate driveway for an RV. RV Hookups available upon request.
The neighborhood is delightful to walk, and the location is convenient to everything in the Palm Springs area: golf, tennis, pickleball, cycling, hiking, shopping, restaurants, museums. Be sure to ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, visit Joshua Tree, tour the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. You'll be a mile from the Agua Caliente Casino, 5 minutes from the Ritz Rancho Mirage rooftop bar, 7 minutes to Parker Palm Springs and 16 minutes to the Palm Springs International Airport.
Over-occupancy and noise violations/fines may result in citations from the city, and you will lose your deposit and may face immediate eviction.

Pool heat is an additional $80/day. Electricity will be charged as used May-September. Billing history is available upon request.

Peaceful with great views
This is our second year of escaping winter to this lovely home. As I said last year, nothing was disappointing and I can certainly say the same this year. The website is very accurate in its depiction so I have nothing new to add. And communicating with the owner could not be easier or more pleasant!

Charm, comfort and views!
My husband and I just spent almost 6 weeks in this lovely home. I won't review its features, as the website does an excellent job of representing them. But I can tell you that the things that one can't be sure of until being there were all pleasant surprises! The beds and bedding were all super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with excellent and plentiful dishes and lots of pots and pans. The living room furniture was stylish, well-arranged and also really comfortable. And those views that you see in the photos?.... Even better than that....365° around! If you like birds, there are lots. The neighborhood is lovely and great for taking walks and getting exercise. And it's quiet. And probably most importantly, the owner Jean was a delight! Being early in the season, she could meet us there and gave us an excellent tour. After that, she was available immediately for our few questions. All in all, a fabulous stay!

Great Place to Stay and Play!
I stayed at Treasure Trail while teaching tennis in the area. Couldn’t have been happier with this place as it had everything we needed and it was really close to everything. The house was super clean and comfortable. The floorplan was great , especially when we had friends join us - there are bedrooms on each wing of the house so lots of quiet places to nap. Everyone loved the cool mid-century architecture with tons of light and big sliders to the backyard and pool. Our friends brought an RV and there was a space to park on the side of the house with electrical hookup .
There are great walking and biking trails that you can access from the house which is another bonus. We ventured up the canyon one day on our bikes and another day we hiked up to one of the higher ridges to get a peek at some Bighorn sheep. The neighborhood is very convenient to everything including downtown Palm Springs, good restaurants, shopping and art museums. We even went to the new casino, one night to watch a Final Four basketball game on the huge tv screen and played a little blackjack. I hadn’t been Into a casino in a while and this was very clean smoke free and the food was really good! Jean, the owner was great and very responsive to our emails and questions. We will definitely come back to this place we already miss it!

Beautiful Property, Great Location, Amazing Host!
We spent a month at this property and loved everything about it!
Location-The house is in an ideal location. It is situated in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood, yet is close to downtown Palm Springs, the airport, Pickleball courts, golf, hiking, shopping, Highway 111, etc.
Inside of House-an impressive home the moment you walk in the front door. It is very clean, well kept and spacious. We loved the layout with the master bedroom on one side and the extra two bedrooms on the other side of the house. All the beds are very comfortable. The centrally located kitchen and living room is open with modern furniture and accents that add pops of colour. The abundance of windows and sliding doors brings the inside and outside together. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
Outside-we LOVED the backyard oasis. It is open, expansive, quiet and very private with beautiful views of the mountains and Coachella Valley. At night the lights of the valley added to the view. The pool is perfectly located and in March was in sun all day. We loved the outdoor dining table and shaded lounge area which we used daily.
Host-Jean is an amazing host! She was extremely welcoming, helpful and communicative from the very beginning. All our inquiries were promptly and thoroughly answered. When we mentioned we were bringing our bikes she made sure we had a secure area to store them along with our golf clubs. Jean checked in occasionally to make sure we were enjoying the property and if there was anything needing attention. We feel she went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be.
