This unique place has a style all its own. Newer Construction, Home away from Home, is your mountain vacation destination located in Island Park, Idaho. Breath taking views surround this destination. Short drive to West Yellowstone and close to Restaurants. Home away from Home sleeps 16 . 3 Full Bathrooms. Cozy up in the Master Bedroom by the fireplace . Relax in a soaker tub in the master bathroom. Open space with close to 14’ vaulted ceilings. Natural light surrounds the kitchen that is equipped with crock pots, insta pots, air fryers, roasters and so many more amenities if you want to cook. Wild life just outside your windows. Large metal fireplace with unique lighting and a 65” curved TV. 55-65” tv in every bedroom.
You will find yourself in modern rustic decor around the home. Game night is every night with arcade/carnival skee balls giant wall connect four, various different arcade games and so much more. Variety of board games. Count the stars while relaxing out on the patio in a hot tub. Backyard playground for the little ones.
BBQ grill and Electric smoker at your fingertips. Fire pit with outside games as well. Fire wood and everything to start your stories around the campfire. Look forward to YOU staying at Home away from Home. Multiple sized Coolers on hand to pack for a day in the park, bassinet, high chair and pack and play. This home is stoked with everything you need and more. Forget to pack something we probably have it on hand for you. Another exceptional stay!

We recently enjoyed our fourth stay at this charming cabin in Island Park over Labor Day weekend. The cabin was impeccably clean, well-stocked, and set against a backdrop of natural beauty, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation. The consistent quality of both the amenities and the overall experience keeps us coming back year after year. A big thank you to the owners for maintaining such a welcoming and comfortable property. Family Reunion

We had 16 family members at our reunion. Plenty of room for everyone and loved the variety of things to do. The owners have the house fully stocked for us (in case we forgot anything) and left welcome treats, etc. Everone in our party commented on how great a place it was. Hope to make it back some day!

Awesome Place!

This place was AWESOME! It had everything you needed and more! So many fun games and activities! Beds were comfy. Kitchen fully stocked. They thought of everything! Host even pointed us in the direction of a sledding hill. They thought of everything for this rental and then some would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home. Lots of extras

We came to Yellowstone for a week with 9 adults and 3 kids including an infant. Everyone loved the house. Lots and lots of extras both inside and out. Homeowner was very quick to answer all out questions. We would definitely come again.

Nothing but - WOW.

Remarkable stay with no detail left to spare. NiCole’s space was amazing for our family, and the small, but impactful details are what put this accommodation above others. If I could copy and paste her property for future stays, I would. The basement is perfect for kids, and the property was perfect for families. NiCole was always quick to respond to our group. Highly highly recommend this rental. It’s Close enough for day trips to West Yellowstone and Grant Teton/Jackson.

Wonderful stay at aYellowstone

This house was beautiful with a game room that kept the kids busy when we were not at Yellowstone. The bunk beds in the game room could sleep 6 kids. Also, there was a small kitchen, numerous game machines and a massage chair. All the extra amenities were well worth the stay. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub, cooking on the bar b que and s’mores at the fire pit. There was even a deer in our woods. The older adults enjoyed the nice mattress, tub and rainfall shower after hiking during the day. Our hostess was wonderful that kept all of our needs in mind.

Island Park fun

A new and fun property to stay at. After your excursions to the national parks which is about a 35 minute drive to the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park, it's good to come back and relax. Perfect for young kids and teens with games like Skeeball and also arcades. Fun stuff for the adults like a full-body massage chair and a 5-person hot tub. We also enjoyed gathering at night around the firepit and grilling. Only thing we would recommend is better wifi coverage throughout the property. We love our stay here! Thanks to Nicole and Kevin.

Clean, fun, responsive

We loved starting at home away from home. The kids loved the games, both inside and out (they even voluntarily played outside). The entire property was super clean. We loved the Smores box and all the goodies that were left for us. The magical flames was a hit. A boil order was in place while we stayed here, but the hosts made sure that we had plenty of bottled water to get us through the week. We loved being able to borrow a cooler to take our lunch with us. Any text sent by us was promptly, and politely, returned, even when one of the kids locked the bathroom door behind them. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation home!

Can I Live Here??!!

Everyone in our party of a few extended families voted hands down that this was the most incredible vacation rental that any of us had ever stayed at, and that the owners truly build a mountain paradise for families. The yard alone could win awards for creativity, entertainment, and usability with the play equipment, fire pit, hot tub, and giant picnic table. It’s surrounded by trees in the back and truly feels private even though there are neighbor cabins. The inside has modern, clean lines with the perfect amount of mountain decor and fully stocked EVERYTHING, not just kitchen. The basement is better than an arcade because the kids can all play there nonstop, which they preferred to Yellowstone ;) I could go on and on, but honestly there are few words ti describe this place adequately other than we are definitely coming back. Other members of our party also said they wanted to bring their extended families too sometime. So glad we discovered this mountain treasure!

This is the second visit to this property and have immensely enjoyed our stay!

Property is clean, well furnished and stocked. Lot's to do and close to other activities to do in the area. We had 9 people total stay and never felt crowded at all.

Perfect VRBO stay

The host goes above and beyond to provide you with a comfortable accommodation. There were so many little additions not mentioned in the listing that we were surprised and happy to find. Small meals/snacks, a s'mores kit, yard games and board games, face masks for kids, toiletries, extra coolers, etc. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Everything in the house is modern and up-to-date, spotless, and all in great condition. The hot tub is great and there's plenty of parking. This is the way a VRBO is meant to be.

Perfect family getaway!

We had a group of 12 from ages 6-65. There was something for everyone here! Plenty of space for sleeping with privacy for the adults. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything for a family getaway complete with an arcade that all ages can enjoy! Island Park was a peaceful place to stay but just a short drive from Yellowstone for a few days in the park. Highly recommend this home!

Our best rental ever!

We came in from TN. The house was magnificent! It had plenty of room for our group of 16. The game room, back yard entertainment, and all the extra amenities was unheard of. I just can’t say enough. We came when Yellowstone was just opened back up in the southern loop with alternating plates. This did change our plans quite a bit and required extra driving, but we made the best of it. When looking for a property coming from hot TN, we looked for a house with AC. Those are hard to find in this area with the size we needed. The ones I did find looked like the yard was never mowed or kept clean. After we arrived in the west we saw this was the norm. This rental was everything we were looking for, including a very clean outside/inside appearance. It was a little pricey, but with 4 family’s splitting the bill, worth every penny.

Great property and hosts

We had a trip planned to Yellowstone and this home was the perfect fit for our group of families. Our trip had to change due to the closure of the park, but the hosts were amazing to work with and we will be back!

Yellowstone Family Vacation

The house was beautiful. We all enjoyed playing the arcade games in the basement. The house is fully stocked with everything you could think of and the property manager was extremely nice and attentive.

Beautiful and well stocked

They seriously had everything here, the house is beautiful and the games are really fun for everyone. Beds are comphy, kitchen has everything and there is plenty of room for people to spread out and relax.
