This is a great house. Perfect for our family get together. The house was clean had lots of space and plenty of activities (kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, ping pong and more) to keep us all busy. Great location in quiet neighborhood and close to lake. Mark was a great host. He gave us a lot information and was responsive when needed. Overall communication and check-in process was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Abayance Bay retreat

6 of us had a wonderful vacation in this spacious home close to all amenities and more specifically to the marina. Host was very easy to contact during our stay and neighbour Bill was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic location!

Mark was a great host, with easy instructions and many amenities at the house to enjoy our stay at the lake. We were a quick walk down to the marina, the Bowl restaurant, and the Frontier pub in Rexford. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Clean and Comfortable

Property is just as advertised! Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen with nice deck area with gas fire pit. Definitely would stay again!!

Our stay was perfect. The house is big and spacious. Very clean and plenty of room for family.

Family, Golf and Getaway

Home was very comfortable for our family gathering of 12. Great outdoor space. It was nice to have equipment to use for fun. Beautiful area!!!

Great place for family reunion

My whole family was together to celebrate my birthday. It is a great house for family gatherings. We spent a lot of time on the large deck with a view of mountains and sunset. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lake house in mountain village

Wonderful house and experience. We would definitely stay again. Owner was wonderful and organized. Easy to communicate with about the house! Truly a dream house and very quiet lake!

True to form

Large deck, island and living room provided ample room for 6 senior men to prepare for and unwind from 6 rounds of golf in 5 days. Note there are stairs leading from ground to main and from main to upper bedrooms that may be a challenge for some. Clean and well appointed it certainly added to our overall enjoyment of the weeks stay.

Clean property and floors. So many fun things that are included with the property- bikes, kayaks, pool table- etc. Close proximity to boat launch- the water is like a turquoise color and reminds me of the Bahamas. Lake is warm in August when we went. Large open kitchen with island which helps when you have a big family. Location had baby gates which helped with a 1.5 y/o that wanted to climb all the stairs. Massive deck with fire pit which the family gathered around every breakfast and after dinner. Gorgeous views of the mountains and sunsets from the bedrooms and deck. Just great flow of the house. Mark was really friendly, quick to respond and accommodating with our asks. 10/10 would stay here again. If you’ve been looking at booking this property- go for it!

Family Wedding

We came to Rexford for a family wedding and didn't get to utilize all the amenities that the house/location has to offer unfortunately as we were very busy. The house is quite lovely when you get inside, however if you have any mobility issues this is not an ideal location for you. It requires climbing two sets of stairs to get to the main living area. The house is set in a subdivision which appears to be a combination of vacation homes and full time residence. We saw lots of mule deer wandering freely throughout the subdivision which was wonderful to see. It is a quick drive down to the marina and restaurant. The home was clean and comfortable and was a great fit for our family visiting from out of town. We liked the open space of the kitchen and living room. Having a washer & drier was a bonus. Expect your typical vrbo rules and lots of chores before check out, no surprise there. We would recommend this home to others and would stay there again. The host Mark is quick to respond and very helpful. Thanks for everything.

The house layout was perfect for our multi-generational family of 9. The guest garage was fully stocked with bikes, helmets, kayaks, SUPs, PFDs (youth and adult), a ping pong table, ultimate frisbee, and an extra frig. The neighborhood wildlife visited several times during the week. Our only regret is that we were so busy exploring Glacier National Park and Whitefish, along with fishing, hiking, and white water rafting, that we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy just relaxing at the house.

Lincoln Co Beauty

We had a great weekend at Mark's house! I am sad to say we did not get to make use of all the house and area has to offer. We were there for a bachelor weekend golf outing and played the Wilderness and Indian Springs. 2 of the nicest courses in MT I assure you. We did luck out on Friday night and wandered in to a Nitty Gritty Dirt band concert by the marina. They have live music down there nearly every weekend in the summer. The house was as advertised or maybe better. Neat and clean. It would be a great family spot. I wish I had been able to get out on the lake, maybe next time. I would not hesitate to rent it again.

Great, Clean House

We enjoyed the home very much. If you expect views of the water from the home, as we did, there are none that we could see. I’m not sure why we thought it overlooked the water … I guess from the pictures of the water we assumed incorrectly. If that’s not important and you just want to be near the lake, this is a great home and a great lake. You can walk to it in 10 minutes. The host was great. We’ll be back again.

Perfect place

Very spacious, though it was bit far from Glacier National park, the owner was very helpful to find local activities for kids. Be really enjoyed the stay. The owner was super nice to deal with. I definitely recommend this place.

Meh.

I hate to leave a less than 5 star review, but this property was not worth the price we paid. We come to Montana every year and we stayed at 3 different places this year. This one was the most expensive per night, but definitely the least nice. You are essentially staying in a campground with a lot of RV’s near you. There is no view. The pictures online are quite different from the actual place…different linens (very cheap/scratchy), no outdoor table on deck, fire barely works with minimal flame on deck, mismatched outdoor cushions, etc. The photos definitely make it look like a higher quality place than it is. The a/c didn’t seem to work upstairs. It was freezing on main level and incredibly hot upstairs. There are no outdoor garbage cans, so you must drive 10 minutes to take out any full bags of trash. You can’t leave trash bags outside due to bears. The positive is that the owner is a great communicator through texts. I just personally would not stay here again especially for 700/ night.

- There are great views of the lake a couple minute walk from the house. Plus many folks hang out at the beach or Marina, where there are fantastic views. - Some of the owners in the area are living in their RV, while they are building their dream house. Some of the construction of new houses has been delayed because of Covid. - There are two separate furnaces and temperature controllers, that a guest would set separately for the upstairs versus downstairs to their desired temperature. - The small flame on the deck table was caused by a temporary maintenance issue. - There are two sets of linens, the heavier/more-expensive ones for the colder months and the lighter ones for the warmer months. The newer lighter linens that you used apparently had not been washed properly yet with fabric softener. The heavier more-expensive linens can always be requested. - The lack of outdoor bear proof garbage cans has been corrected, and there is a bear proof garbage can to use. - The dining room table has wheels and can be rolled out onto the desk, in order to be used outside. - The mismatch cushions were a temporary issues, due to supply chain issues. The place now has enough new cushions.
