Welcome to the Windy City and home of amazing restaurants, great sports teams, and of course the lake! Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, we can accommodate families, girls trip, guys trip, work trip, and everything in between! Our spacious 3-bedroom apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay!
We have big bay windows to gaze outside sipping some coffee on the comfy chair or possibly getting in some work done with all the natural light at the office desk overlooking the windows.
The kitchen is fully stocked to make a meal at home or enjoy the many takeout options our neighborhood has to offer. We offer coffee and snacks and filtered water in the fridge ready when you arrive.
Our street is permit parking and we offer our guests one pass for each day they stay with us. We are a completely non-smoking property. There is no smoking or vaping of ANY kind in the building, the back yard or the front porch.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful time in the house. Communication was clear and timely, check-in and -out were easy, property exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. We loved the neighborhood, walked around and took the blue line to the city center. Highly recommended!

Lots of space

The house is very clean and has everything you need. It's pretty easy to get too, street parking which is fairly busy but thats to be expected. Always a spot just might be a few houses down.

Quiet neighborhood parking is a mess

The neighborhood was nice and quiet but we had multiple drivers so parking was a bit of a mess, house was clean and some of the extras were very nice. Biggest thing for me was the beds, just the foam mattresses were not comfortable. But overall the property and area was very nice

Our third stay here!

This was our third time staying here so that should say something! The location is great for us when we come up to visit family for holidays. And the comfort and ease of this place is what keeps us coming back. Communication with Mirela is always a breeze, amenities are great, the place is very clean and cozy, and the neighborhood is great.

Pretty good

Everything was very nicely laid out and organized. Everything was pretty clean. We did not realize that it was just the one floor though and that there would be people above us. That could be better advertised in the description of the property. Other than that it was very good.

Chicago Marathon Weekend

Stayed here while I was running the Chicago marathon. Was perfect for my infant and toddler and everything we needed for the weekend. Nice neighborhood, easy parking, great communication through the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was amazing, the house is beautiful inside and out, practical. Useful, Open, warm and cool at the same time. We had a wonderful time, so wonderful we booked a second stay on the same trip. Can’t wait to come back. 😊

Son’s Wedding

This was our 1st VRBO and it was great location, very clean it was nostalgic for us as we had lived in a similar place when we lived in Chicago. We appreciated the amenities and the parking was not an issue. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you to the host!

The owners of this property are very responsive. The neighborhood is nice, the unit is clean and does have nice extra touches. The reasons for a couple of non 5 ratings are: 1) some touch up is needed in the unit; 2) there is street parking with the provided daily stickers, but space is limited and can be hard to find; 3) while the beds were fine they might benefit from some box springs (even the half height ones). Please note that this is a unit under the owners and there is noise from movement, which is to be expected.

Highly recommend

This property checks all the boxes. Clean, comfortable lower in a convenient location. No issues at all. Absolutely ideal for a visit to Chicago. It is a great value and we will definitely stay there again.

Cozy and Quiet

House was cozy and as quiet as Chicago can get. Plenty of household items where supplies by host. Very much enjoyed our stay! Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Hospitality Plus!

This was my first experience with VRBO and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautifully taken care of and the hosts have put a lot of thought into appearance and amenities which included toiletries that could have been forgotten in the bathroom, coffee and snacks in the kitchen. The mattresses were very comfortable, and much appreciated by both elders and millennials. The home is close to restaurants and grocery stores, and there were many brochures from local restaurants in the house (we actually discovered we really like Moroccan food! The neighborhood is quiet and stately. I would strongly recommend a stay here. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful property in a great location

This property was beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the living/dining room was large and well-appointed. The host thought of everything and had a large basket of essentials (toiletries, sewing kit, and such) in the bathroom for emergencies - and a good thing because one of my teens forgot her deodorant! The host's thoughtfulness saved me a trip to the CVS. She also provided lots of snacks, filtered water, and coffee for the coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer in the basement, and they are HUGE and could wash enough clothes for a family of 8, I think. The beds are comfortable, and the closet space was sufficient for our weeklong trip. The property is right off of I-90 which made it easy to get into the downtown area, and though traffic on the highway was generally a nightmare, we braved it every day. There are a bunch of restaurants, a pharmacy, and a Dollar Tree within walking distance. The host provided a parking pass for one vehicle, and we were able to park very close every day. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great visit!

Stayed twice!

We just stayed at Mirela’s place for a second time. It’s a lovely place with great accommodations. Parking was super easy too. We had a few questions during our stay and Mirela was so kind and quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I own the building and live upstairs. We have a four year old Catahoula/Lab pup who is super friendly. We enjoy traveling and working around the house, so you may see us outside planting flowers, mowing our lawn, or hanging out with our pup.

Our street is quiet and peaceful, but just steps away from lots of restaurants. La Villa is our favorite Italian place with amazing pizza that is a short 10 minute walk or if you prefer driving they have a parking lot. A great local watering hole is Crawford's Food and Spirit that is a 7 minute walk and they have great food too! If you like sushi, Fresh Sushi is a 5 minute walk and BYOB that we absolutely love. We have a Walgreens that is a 10 minute walk away as well a local grocery store a 5 minute walk. Milwaukee is right down our street with lots of places to choose from in either direction with continuous buses running in both directions for many more options.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We are in the best neighborhood in the city, Old Irving Park. It has the feel of a quiet suburb with all the treats of city living. The blue line is a 15 minute walk and will take you right to the Loop or bring you from O-hare airport. The Edens/Kennedy (90/94) Expressway is super close about 5 minute drive that will take you wherever you want to go. The drive to or from O'hare with medium traffic is about 30 minutes. If you are in town for a Cubs game there is an express bus that will pick you up a few blocks away from us. Our neighborhood is super walkable too if you’d like to exploring.
