From the kitchen it is a few steps to the large living room, where the ceiling is open to below the ridge and where large windows give you a view of the water. The natural plot extends to the water and also gives you plenty of room to play. Bjerge Sydstrand is known for its good beach with clear water and child-friendly swimming conditions. The sandy bottom gets deeper only slowly and there are no stray currents. At low tide there are small islands on the beach. In the south of the beach there are beach volley fields and a playground. You will enjoy swimming, beach volley, hiking, windsurfing, paddling and fishing here. The cottage is close to the island of Reersø, an exciting peninsula with unique nature, where you can buy freshly caught fish. On the island you will find rare plants and animals, a cozy little harbor with a fish store and a cliff. It is also not far to Kalundborg, a bustling city with a beautiful old town and a harbor that is visited by cruise ships throughout the summer.
