Chalet 65bis is a detached, two-storey home for six guests with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Its location in the charming market town of Thônes is perfect for a group who would like to explore the Aravis mountains but still want all the facilities of a busy town nearby. But despite the town location, there's a surprising amount of outside space, with a large lawned garden and two terrace areas.

The three double bedrooms all have their own bath or shower room - a real bonus when you're all rushing to get ready for a day out. We also love the open-plan living area, with a cosy seating area for watching TV or catching up with friends, a fabulous kitchen with plenty of space to cook up a tasty meal and a dining table big enough to all eat together.

The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Lovely central location

Lovely accommodation. Kitchen very well equipped, plenty of packing/cupboard space throughout the house. House was spacious and very clean. Lovely central location with a short walk to the centre of Thones, a 20min drive to lake Annecy and within easy reach of plenty hiking routes locally.

Loved it, beautiful nature

Really good, it was so nice because Annecy was only 25 minuts away. Nice being there in the house👍We loved it, and loved the beautiful nature around the house and in the area. There are a lot of things to see and do. We will diffently come back.

Perfect location

The chalet was beautiful and had everything we needed for a 2 week stay with our two kids and their grandparents, including a very well equipped kitchen. We loved the location in close walking distance to the lovely town of Thones but also a short drive to La Clusaz and Annecy.

We have spent a very nice week. The chalet is well located, close to 3 ski resorts and Annecy. The chalet is nicely decorated and each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped.

Comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen. Walking distance from the shops etc. Two excellent bakeries in town, and a reasonable supermarket. Very good base for mountain walking. The floors are hard so take a dog bed!

nice chalet in wonderful area

We had a very nice stay at Chalet 65 bis, which is very well equiped and suitable for up to 6 adults. Check in an check out were easy and friendly, everything concerning the Chalet was as described and the area is very nice. Strongly recommended.

Family-friendly home near ski resort

Enjoyable stay. The house is well-suited for a family. The kitchen is equipped beyond expectations, with everything you need and more. The ski resort is not far, accessible via a pleasant route. We often went sledding with the children.

Highly Recommend

We chose this because it was beautiful and it was as-advertised. The house has been redone and has all of the modern amenities. The location has breathtaking views and the village is charming, close to everything you’d want to do.

The modern chalet, recently renovated, offers a lot of comfort and space with its 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay, everything is there. Minor points to pay attention to: the garden is not completely fenced off, so take care with small kids and pets. And the road next to the house can be busy in the mornings on weekdays. Not a big deal, just something to consider mentioning.

Cozy chalet near Thones

Lovely chalet and only a 5-minute stroll into Thones. The chalet was well-equipped with everything we needed for a week's stay. It rained a lot, so we spent more time in the chalet than we had hoped for. Maybe the lounge area could be made more comfortable. Also, the road outside is very busy, and the early morning traffic is noisy, especially if you sleep with the windows open. Some of our party were also not fond of the windows in the bathrooms of the downstairs rooms, which look into the bedrooms. Maybe it's just a British thing? Overall, a deserving 4/5 rating as we enjoyed our time there.

A well-designed chalet in a great location

Pros: location near village centre, nice design, big enclosed garden, dog friendly, ensuite for all bedrooms Cons: advertised having washing machine and tumble dryer, yet they were dirty at arrival. We had to contact the property manager to get it clean, yet the cleaner only cleaned the detergent drawer, not the machines themselves. We decided not to use the machines in the end. Another aspect, only 2 pots work on the stove. Asked the manager for help but received no response. We had to chase the property manager to even get a response about the washing machine and tumble dryer in the first place. Communication needs a lot of improvement.

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s house in Thones and have the following comments:Pros:The home is conveniently located and within a five minute walk to the center of town. It is a very well designed, nicely maintained modern house with comfortable furnishings, an extremely well stocked kitchen, a pleasant yard with ample patio furniture and a great view of the mountains. The parking space next to the house is an added bonus. Michael was very prompt replying to any inquiries. Thones is well centered for exploring Annecy and the surrounding towns and activities.Cons:The house is situated on a heavily used road and traffic noise is quite noticeable if any of the windows are open or when using the patios; especially during commute hours.

Chalet bien équipé

Le chalet est excellent et très bien équipé. La seule difficulté concerne la chambre à l’étage : le bruit des voitures est fort et nous n’avons pas bien dormi. Sinon, l’hébergement est vraiment très bien et je le recommande.
