Seaside Grove, a five (5) bedroom beach house with a backyard Oasis featuring a new pool and spacious yard and play area. This home is just steps away from the well sort after East Beach access on St Simonā€™s Island. Endless entertainment spaces, including 2 decks with ocean view and 1 with outdoor-bar. Large yard with orange trees for outdoor activities. This spacious home sleeps 12 adults and up to 14 -15 with children great for family getaway. Just tell us your guest plan and needed sleeping arrangements and we will do our best to make your stay comfortable.
The main level contains the kitchen, a 2 story living room with large windows, balcony, and two (2) bedrooms. The living area is an open concept with a connected kitchen, open dining room, and living room. The kitchen is equipped with a Refrigerator, Microwave, 4-Burner Gas Stove with a mini griddle, an Oven, and Dishwasher. Off the dining room is a balcony with a miniature grill, bar table, and a distant ocean view.

Off the living room is a bedroom and a sunroom. The bedroom comes with a queen sized bed, two (2) closets, a nightstand, and dresser. The bedroom is connected to a full bathroom. The sunroom has a sofa bed, a recliner bed, and a work desk.

The second level contains the master bedroom, an additional bedroom, a washer and dryer (with detergent), and access to a second balcony. The master bedroom contains a king sized bed, a spacious walk-in closet, access to the balcony, and a full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and full size bed on the bottom and a chair that extends to a twin size bed which is more suitable for a young adult or child. The room also contains two (2) closets and is connected to a full bathroom.

The lowest floor contains the garage which has room to park two (2) cars. Connected is a bedroom containing two (2) full-size beds, a full bathroom, and a walk-in closet.
All bedrooms and the living room have Smart TV's.
We will provide linens, towels, and an initial supply of soap, laundry soap, dish detergent, toilet paper and paper towels

The house is in a great location, just a few steps from the trail to the beach. All the rooms and kitchen were well furnished and clean. They had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

This house and location is amazing. Everyone in our family (we had 3 generations and 3 separate households) raved about the house, the beach, and the location. The location could not have been better. Steps away from beach access. We enjoyed the East beach neighborhood as it seems a little less crowded. We rented bikes and the neighborhood is quiet enough to ride around. The house was great.. the only thing to consider if you have littles is the sunken living room. That was an issue for my 2 yr old as she was constantly getting tripped up. Would still stay over and over again bc of location.

The home had everything which was listed in the description. There was plenty of sleeping room and utilities to utilize. The only thing that we were not too happy about was the fact that you had to access the lower level by going outside and down a flight of stairs. We had several older ladies with health issues that were not able to walk the stairs. However, the accommodations were plenty and we truly enjoy every moment there. We absolutely loved the fruit trees all around the property! Once we found a ripe fruit hanging, we decided to Try it for breakfast and it was amazing! We will definitely be returning to this home in the near future. But now we know the ladies with the her knees and backs just cannot follow us or they will have to stay downstairs!

Awesome location!!

Best feature of the property is terrace with sea view. The property is as such a little old one but it is evidently being renovated. Bathrooms need to be renovated. The house has everything that is needed for 2-3 families with kids. The short walk to the beach through woods is exciting and fun. The deck is another great spot to hangout.

Weekend Meet

We stayed here with a few other families for a youth sporting event. It was a much better option than a hotel. The house was clean and well supplied. I would caution those with younger children to be careful with the rooftop deck as the side against the roof can be easily climbed to a three-story drop. Overall, this was a great experience and everyone had a great time.

This was a very spacious house, with a great pool, an actual yard, and just steps from the end of the street where the public beach access was. Being farther up east beach in the houses, the number of people on the beach in this area is not very many, which gives you a nice bit of privacy as you enjoy the beach with your family. House had plenty of room for our crew and we couldā€™ve brought a few cousins with us if they had been available. Having a garage to put cars in was an extreme luxury that was helpful when it was raining and also nice for keeping the cars cool. Plenty of parking. Views from the roof to the ocean were great, and lots of outdoor porch space to enjoy as well. Overall, we were very happy with this house. What few minor issues we had upon arrival were quickly addressed, the owner was very responsive and took good care of us. Great place to stay.

My family really enjoyed our stay. However, there were several disappointing areas on concern. We would have appreciated an overview of the home, explaining how to work the tv, lights, cable Home advertised smart tvs in all rooms- there were 2 of 5, bathroom outlets didn't work, bicycles had flat tires, patio doors were dirty, etc. Upgrades definitely needed. Loved the open concept, living room and dining room. Beach access great, neighborhood,fruit trees, decks and views were amazing. Weenjo inthe rooms.

Refrigerator broken, dishwasher broken. Cabinets not cleaned. Hair everywhere. Dead bugs in the window ledges Broken closet doors and broken doors by washer and dryer. Says sleeps 15, might sleep 12 max. 2 doors wouldn't open or close all the way. Had 2 trash cans. One still full from previous renters. Only thing that was good was the walk to the beach. Contacted host more than 6 times by email and by phone and got no response. This place is a joke and a dump.

A bit dated but great location near the beach

This house is a great budget option in a high-priced vacation home area. The trail to the beach is right out the door. Lots of levels with decks including a viewing area on top of the house that looks out over the ocean. If you have issues climbing steps, I would not recommend this house. The guests before us were obviously partying hard but the owner and caretaker were very responsive about getting the extra clean-up done.

Comfortable and close to the beach

The home is clean, and in my opinion, is comfortable for 9-10 adults/teens and 3-4 children. Two of the "beds" are foldout chairs that only accommodate someone small; the rooms with queen and king beds are well sized and comfortable. The house is close to the beach, but the path is partly overgrown and narrow, and muddy from rains, so getting a beach trolley through it was a lot of work. Our garage code was out of service, so we had to continually go in and out through the front door, which was a bit of an inconvenience. But, overall, for our size group of adults and children, I would stay here again.

The location of this house is ideal, itā€™s in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, walk or short drive to parks, shops, and restaurants. The house and yard were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the bikes that were provided. There was a pretty significant problem with the WiFi, which would prevent us from returning to this house. Only 2-5 devices were able to be connected at once, which was really difficult with our group of 8 people and the televisions in the house all being internet-based. The owner suggested rebooting the router. When we did so, the connection would improve for a short time. There were plenty of plates, bowls, mugs, and glassware in the kitchen. Several other kitchen items were lacking, though, like mixing bowls, baking sheets, a whisk, and hand soap. The refrigerator ice/water dispenser was broken, as was the knob to turn on one of the burners. Fixing a few other things could have made our stay a lot more comfortable and secure; a step to the 3rd level deck was falling apart, 3 of the doors had locks that were difficult or impossible to turn, the master bathroomā€™s shower curtain kept falling and the drain was incredibly slow, and for all 8 of us to have hot water, we had to carefully plan our showers. The interior doors and steps made a lot of noise, making it difficult to be considerate of those trying to sleep if anyone in the group was awake. The owner was responsive and sent the property manager out during a holiday week. However, the issues were not able to be resolved.
