There are many facilities for children. Ristinge has one of Langeland's best sandy beaches, making it an ideal holiday destination for families with children. The golf club with 18 holes is 7 kilometres away.

From Ristinge Hale you can enjoy the beautiful view over the sea towards the town of Marstal on the island of Ærø, where you can also see the small islands between Langeland and Ærø. Birdwatchers in particular will have a fantastic experience if you head south from Ristinge to Tryggelev Nor. Together with Nørreballe Nor, this is one of the only two nature reserves in Denmark where breeding sea eagles have been observed in recent years for the first time in Denmark for more than a hundred years. Ristinge Havn is 4 kilometres away, where you will find a boat harbour and the contact point for gillnet and fish trap fishermen. You can of course also buy fresh fish from the fishermen.
