A trip to the National Park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft or with the passenger ship to the peninsula Fischland/Darß is worthwhile. The immediate surroundings are rural and invite you to hike through meadows and fields. A small public bathing beach is only 400 m away and the landing stage for passenger ships is only about 1 km from the vacation resort. Between April and October there are ships twice a day to Prerow and Born (out of season limited operation).
