Our home is right on Wells beach. Wake up every morning with a 180 degree panoramic ocean view from your deck and living room. This home is the ultimate in beach convenience. Wake up to sunrises over the ocean and enjoy family fun on the deck as you watch the sun set. A Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils allows for eating in and the central location of this home allows for quick access to all the great local restaurants. Wells is getting more and more popular each summer. The number of homes that offer this degree of beach access and ocean views is shrinking every year (as owners convert rental homes to private homes). Treat yourself to the ultimate Wells beach experience - Stay right on the beach!! Within our recently updated circa 1924 home, this 2 bedroom unit is adjoined by a 3 bedroom unit (VRBO #2278234) on the opposite side of the home. If you are looking to vacation with family/friends this setup provides for both close proximity and privacy. We purchased this home in 2021 - that is why there are only a few reviews as of yet. We own another home on Atlantic Ave that has double digit highly positive VRBO reviews (VRBO #3912788). You only live once, why not treat yourself to one of the best locations Wells Beach has to offer! Enjoy the panoramic ocean sunrise with your coffee!! Easiest way to visit the beach. Open the living room door and you are at the beach. Covered porch and patio are perfect for lounging, grilling and feasting. Great location and views. Easy communication with the owners and respond timely to requests.

House was clean and well maintained and just as advertised in the photos. David, the host was thoughtful and gracious and followed up after we checked in to make sure everythingā€™s was ok - a nice touch. Thank you David. Weā€™ll be back.

This is our second time renting this unit and itā€™s better than I remembered. The house is clean and stocked with everything we could need. The older kids loved riding their scooters to the shops and arcade while the baby built sand castles on the beach. The location and views are breathtaking; we watched the sun rise over the ocean, from our porch every morning. I will rent this unit again next year.

Just a quick getaway

If you want a quaint, safe, comfortable and beautiful place to stay right on the beach this is the house to rent. Thanks to a very attentive host I had a great, relaxing weekend in Maine at this beautiful property, close to quaint towns and right on the water. Would love to stay here again.

Let me say right up front, the house was very clean.On our arrival we found no bath towels and no sheets or pillow cases on any of the beds. This was not pointed out in the online description.We were informed it was stated in the lease agreement we signed, and that turned out to be true. But, we received the lease agreement the day before we were to arrive at the house and did not notice it. Having said all that, David took excellent care of us and made sure our stay was an excellent experience.Thank you David. We would definitely stay here again.

Seaside serenity

This property is amazing. From the cozy home with all the amenities you could need for a beach stay to the spectacular views on both north and south sides of the property. We stayed in both sides, with the south side our gathering place with a large picture window and sliding glass doors to the ocean front deck and it has a slightly larger living space. Having both sides available affords a nice privacy option if needed. This is one of those stays where you never want to leave.

1 Week Family Vacation

The location and beach experience are top notch. Itā€™s far enough down the beach where it is much quieter and thereā€™s lots of room for the kids to spread out and play. Even at high tide, thereā€™s more than enough room for everyone. The house has all that youā€™ll need. As mentioned by others, the walls are thin and depending on who is next door, you may hear a decent amount. Our experience was great though. There were plenty of family friendly places to walk to right down the road - restaurants, shops, arcade. Would definitely stay here again.

Best vacation of my life

The property was fully stocked with blankets, kitchen utensils, and linens. It was the prefect size for my family of six. Morning sunrises, on the deck with a coffee, were serene. The location doesnā€™t get any better for families. We will rent this property again.

Beach House

What a beautiful location, to be right on the water is unmatched in our book. This was perfect for our family with 3 kids under 3. Kitchen is fully equip with all your need, a grill and beautiful patio to have meals and a fire at the end of the night (we brought our own fire pit) We will definitely be booking again!

My family and I have been vacationing at Wells Beach for the last 15-20 years. We do enjoy the family atmosphere at this beach. Before purchasing 131 Atlantic, we stayed at all the motels and hotels along Rte 1. The daily vacation drama of will we find a parking spot by the beach and packing up the car and being careful not to forget anything as we'd have to drive back to get it - (and risk losing our parking spot) was not really fun. We started staying right by the beach and our stress levels decreased dramatically. Everything about Wells in the summer is fun (see Congdon's Doughnuts, Billy's Chowder House, Mikes Clam Shack, The Steak House and even Dairy Queen). We take a lot of pride in our home and constantly look to upgrade.

If you want the positively best Wells Beach experience, then stay right on the beach. This home is the ultimate in convenience and experience. You can watch the tide come in and go out from the deck or living room. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from your comfortable chair on your deck is absolutely therapeutic. This home is also strategically located between Public Way #2 and Public Way #3. The distance from both can decrease the potential for crowds that is sometimes seen right at the exit of a Public Way. The location of this home is absolutely amazing.
