Only an hour drive north of Milwaukee and south of Green Bay. Experience all Sheboygan County has to offer. Kohler golf courses, biking and hiking, charter fishing, a variety of restaurants just to name a few of the many adventures available.

This quaint 3 bedroom, 1.75 baths home is located on a quiet, partially wooded lot near a park for children to play. Enjoy a quick walk to beautiful Lake Michigan for an early morning sunrise on the beach. Cool summer breezes carry through open bedroom windows from the lake.

Enjoy stunning sunsets from the terraced back deck while sipping refreshing beverages with family and friends. There is plenty of room to lounge, inside and out.

A gas grill and a kitchen full of cookware provide all you need to prepare your own meals (some spices available). It is a short drive to town for a famous Wisconsin local Friday Fish Fry or a quick walk to the neighborhood restaurant. Chase the chill away evenings with a natural wood fireplace while watching a movie or just enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book. Gaze through the over-sized living room window and catch the deer and wildlife.

Perfect for a family vacation or just a relaxing weekend, this home is a welcoming comfortable retreat.

The home is available for longer term rentals during the winter season and will be available again for weekend/weekly rentals beginning in May, 2017.

Peaceful and serene

This is our second year. Plan to make it a yearly event with the family. Brought our dog which is a challenge with all the wonderful friendly wildlife. Enjoy the walk to the lake and relaxing on the deck.

Cabin in the woods

Good location walking distance to park and lake. Wildlife running through the yard. Nice area to gather outside. House was a little closed up from winter. Needs some repairs on outside.

Beautiful combination of woods and Lake Michigan

This home is in such a great location. The morning walks on the beach, combined with sitting on the porch under the pines while deer walk by make it such a restful place. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for your stay.

Nice time away

Nice neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Short drive to a ton of beaches. Some great bakeries in town (Johnston’s and City) and nice restaurants along the river.

Great, relaxing location

Very clean. Loved the location, a couple blocks from the Lake and a couple miles to the State Park. Be sure to check out the short nature trail / sculpture garden about a quarter mile away.

Peaceful cabin

Ideally situated away from the noise and bustle of the city with access to a lake beach and A fabulous supper club. We loved having breakfast on the deck with the deer in the yard. It was nice to have room for short visits from family and have access to a washer and dryer

Wonderful wildlife

Stayed here with family and dog for Indy weekend. Location was perfect. Beautiful lake michigan beach for our dog to play. House was nice with stocked firewood for the cozy fireplace. Typical wusconsin cabin casual and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked.

Very quaint

Enjoyed our stay. Even though it was a residential area, we felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Deer came right up to the living room window to check if we were comfy. I appreciate the extra amenities provided by our host, kitchen staples and, oh my gosh, enough TP to last our stay. That has not always been our experience with other hosts.

Peaceful and well-equipped

My mom, husband, 3 boys (4, 4, 6) had a wonderful time. From walking down to the lake (5 mins) and frolicking on the waves to enjoying some of the sights (Bookworm Gardens, Kohler Andrae) to lazing around watching a movie. We had everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry before heading home and no huge check-outcleaning list! We would def consider renting again.

Great place to take a break

It's a lovely cabin. Only a two block walk to Lake Michigan. The area is very quiet. Several deer walking the area and right through the yard. Our dog was quite intrigued. The kitchen is well equipped. Our son and his wife live in the area and came by to cook us a lovely dinner. They really liked it. We enjoyed drinks on the deck in the afternoon sun listening to the birds. We were looking for a good place to get away from the chaos that had been happening at home. We picked the right place.

Eek! Lots of flies.

Lovely wooded neighborhood and quick access to the beach. However, we immediately noticed dozens of flies in the basement hallway leading up to the kitchen, along with a bad smell seemingly coming up from the basement. Open access from this hallway meant flies moved into the kitchen and elsewhere in the house. We brought this to the attention of the owner, who quickly responded 'enjoy your stay' but did not address the flies. The rest of the house was clean and orderly, but I'm just glad we did not plan to cook in this kitchen for our brief stay.

Not exactly as advertised

We have used VRBO happily for years. We were under the impression we would be out in nature, but in fact felt like we had arrived in the suburbs. It was in a developed neighborhood with houses all around. The walk to the lake was not bad, but certainly not so close as to hear waves lapping out the window, more like 5-600 yards. The patio furniture was adequate but pretty dirty. The place was not the cleanest (hair on the shower drain) and yet for a 2 night stay we were asked to pay a pretty steep cleaning fee. We left the place cleaner than when we arrived, had a good time, but do not plan to return.

Didn't want to leave....

Cottage is very clean and really comfortable. Perfect for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning at the beach a block away, then coffee on the deck, watching the deer. Such a peaceful place!! Lots to do nearby... literally everything was within a 15 minute drive. It honestly was hard to leave. We'd absolutely rent this house again, as well as recommend it to anyone planning to visit Sheboygan.

Would rent again!

Incredibly well stocked property with ample amenities. Easy to get to, off street parking, nice outdoor space. We had six adults, one 18 month old with us, and our dog, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Loved the short walk to Lake Michigan, and the beach area is beautiful. Safe neighborhood and quiet. Saw deer and other wildlife just like the description says! The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. Instructions on getting in to the property were easy to understand. So glad we got to stay at this lovely property!

Lovely woodland setting

A lovely, homey cottage in the woods. Nice places to walk the dog, small nearby beach, very close to many WI parks and good restaurants in Sheboygan. Would definitely stay again when we are up this way!

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything about this cute little cabin was perfect! The house is adorable. It is decorated beautifully. And it is stocked like it’s meant to be lived in! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only problem…it wasn’t long enough.
