Summary:

Sublime ground floor flat of 40m2 in the heart of the 7th arrondissement. A 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and a few minutes from the Champs de Mars, this flat is located in a renowned shopping street. You will be able to visit the Invalides, as well as the numerous museums nearby:

- Quai de Branly

- Orsay Museum

- The Louvre

- Grand Palais...

The Champs Elysées and Avenue Montaigne are a 20 minute walk away.

The flat has:

- 1 bedroom with double bed

- 1 modern shower room with toilet

- 1 living room with sofa bed, dining table

- 1 beautiful open kitchen fully equipped with washing machine/dryer, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle



It is fully equipped and will make you feel at home. Free wifi and cable Tv. The cleaning fee includes clean sheets and towels for each guest and the cleaning is done by a professional cleaner.

Property inaccessible, unsecured and smelled heavily of mold.

We arrived in the afternoon on an extremely hot June 26th. Upon arrival no key was in the lock box so we had to wait over 30 minutes in 85 degrees f, w/54% humidity for someone to show up with the key, but it turned out the key couldn't actually secure the apartment because we discovered the lock to the back door to the building accessible courtyard, directly across from where the garbage cans are stored, was broken so anyone in the building could get in at any time. As we entered the apartment we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold and mildew, which got significantly worse as you entered the kitchen/living space at the front of the apartment, so it obviously hadn't been cleaned or even inspected anytime close to our arrival. We had to secure other last minute arrangements at significantly higher cost and were never contacted as to our safety, well being or refund by the property management company Studio Prestige. It was absolutely miserable. We have just arrived back home to the states and I still need to confirm we weren't charged for that horrible experience.

The location of this property is excellent, walkable distance to many attractions, food places and train stations. The bed and sofa were comfortable to sleep on, and the washer/dryer works well. The kitchen was functional, although there were no bowls. The floor got a little dirty/ dusty and there was no broom. Bathroom was fine, good water pressure. The frosted windows could do with some roller blinds as it is quite light in the main area when people are trying to sleep on the sofa bed. Property owner is very communicative and timely. Overall a nice apartment with the location and well maintianed apartment certainly outweighing the minor issues.

Eiffel tower hole

The location is the only thing good about it. The apartment was dusty and unclean, dirt behind the doors, on the floor and kitchen counter. The bed smelled like a wet dog slept in it. In addition the appliances which did not work, toaster, cooling fan ( broken plug), initially no tv controller then no tv period. No windows to view outside leave a feeling of being in a closed cell.

Location, location, location

It's difficult to find somewhere to stay near the major attractions without breaking the bank. The proximity of this place to the Eiffel Tower, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, two Metro stations, Seine boat rides, and bus tours made it a no brainer for the price. The bed and the sleeper sofa were comfortable to sleep on. There is a washer/dryer (one unit), not a washer AND dryer. You can't wash a second load while drying the first load. A cycle takes a long time. Plan accordingly. Nespresso pods...only 5 provided, so depending on your coffee needs, you may want to bring your own. There are large frosted windows facing the street, with no shades or blinds. It's not a busy street, but there is some noise and light. Anyone sleeping on the sleeper sofa might want to bring ear plugs and an eye mask. The biggest negative was the noise from the doors of the building. The exterior door to the building and the doors to the other residences inside the building slam VERY loudly. The wood floors "crackle" when walked on, so it's hard to sneak around quietly at night to go to the bathroom without disturbing the person on the sleeper sofa. There are nowhere to put things like soap, shampoo, etc inside the shower. The options are the shower floor or the sink counter. There is mold inside the shower enclosure. There is no drain stopper for the bathroom sink. Would we stay here again? For sure. The location/convenience counteracts the few negatives.
