Welcome to Destiny Hideaway, located in the prestigious gated community of Destiny East, where you will enjoy both the comforts of home and the luxurious amenities of a resort!

This one-story, 4BR home features a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a 55" smart TV, and a door to the back patio. The master bath is a showpiece with white marble counters, separate sinks, a soaker tub, and a frameless glass shower with a Bluetooth speaker.

Right off the living area is the bunk bed room with a twin-over-double bunk bed, a kids' table for play, and lots of shelves to store toys and games.

The two bedrooms on the other size of the house each have a queen-size bed. The back bedroom opens to the back patio, and the front bedroom includes a baby changing table. A full bath is in between.

The interiors are light-filled and open with comfortable gathering spaces: a dining room table that seats 8, a semi-open galley kitchen with an open breakfast bar, a living area with a 65" smart TV, and a foyer with even more seating.

For added security, the property is equipped with a doorbell camera and a security camera above the garage door.

Destiny Hideaway is located on a cul-de-sac in Destiny East, an exclusive gated community. You will enjoy peace and quiet and still be only a few steps from the walking trail that leads to Club Destiny amenities:

Drive the golf cart out the south gate to Scenic 98, and beach access is just half a mile away.

Denise and Jeff were amazing hosts! Our home had everything we could possibly need! They put a lot of thought into every detail! The golf cart was a great bonus! We were there in January so the electric fireplace and the warm blanket blankets were a plus!

Peace and quiet

The property and community were amazing. Denise was WONDERFUL in communicating with us! We did have a couple of towels that were visibly dirty and needed to be rewashed and a few of the dishes also. But, nothing that would ever keep us from staying at the property in the future. To Denise, thanks for sharing your property and for the added amenities with our family!

Awesome Getaway

My family and I were in town for my son’s sporting event. The house we stayed in was absolutely wonderful and the neighborhood was beautiful! I definitely recommend this stay and the communication with the host was top notch!!!

A great break from the winter in Minnesota

We had a wonderful trip to Florida for our annual winter break. Mother Nature threw us a curve ball when she presented us with a snowstorm. It was a historic event and we won't ever forget it. We had a beautiful home to stay in with excellent property owners who made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean, organized and felt like home. We plan to return to Destin again and will stay in Destiny Hideaway!

Get Away

Property was great, clean and nicely furnished. Darlene and Jeff were great hosts. All the neighbours were friendly as well. Just missed a kettle for our tea. Destin is a great area with gorgeous beaches. Weather wasn't the warmest in Feb. Golf cart was awesome we used it quite a bit, bikes could use a little TLC. Would return to Destin area a little later in the season.Thanks again for your hospitality :)

Exactly as expected and desired!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was extremely clean and the house was well prepped for us to enjoy ourselves. The golf cart served us well for our trips to the beach and also to local restaurants. There were no surprises or disappointments and the description of the property was completely accurate! We would certainly stay here again!

Beautiful Family Destination!

We loved our stay in Destin! Jeff and Denise were easy to communicate with. The house was well maintained and very clean- we had no worries letting our 2 and 4 year old play on the floor. They loved having the park so close, and the nice backyard! We also enjoyed taking the golf cart out to eat and to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are considering a Destin vacation! We would love to come back one day!

Best Ever

The property was just as advertised. Very clean and comforting. Other than food, we were provided with everything we needed for a stay at the beach. But far better than the house, was the hospitality of the property manager, Denise. She is an absolute sweetheart. It was a most welcoming experience each time I communicated with her. I will book this property again and again.

The perfect family vacation

This was our first time in Destin, and it was probably the best family vacation we've ever had. The house was beautiful! Perfect location- close enough to the beach but far enough away from all of the crowded hotels and rentals. The gated community was super quiet, well maintained, and had a wonderful pool and playground that my little ones absolutely loved. The house was super clean, had every amenity that we could possibly need, including my husbands favorite part- a golf cart! We took the golf cart everywhere- it was perfect. Denise was the best host too, she made sure we were well taken care of and left us with more then we could have asked for. We can't wait to come back.

Great property gated community awesome hosts !

First off Denise the owner was very accommodating we felt like we were at home. We had plenty of privacy here. So I’m not sure why there was other negative reviews about that. Yes there is a camera outside but I have those to at home as well. The property had everything we needed. It was very clean and spacious. The home even had candles ( it was my husbands birthday ) Denise even dropped off a birthday gift. Very kind of the owner. We loved this beautiful home. The pool in community was gorgeous and very big. My kids loved the pool playground and the bunk beds at the home. This home also comes with golf cart and that was a highlight for us. Core memories were made here. Thank you Denise. Also there was pool inflatables paddle board sand toys and chairs for beach and even beach towels. Anything we forgot to bring the house had. You won’t regret staying here. We are looking forward to booking again next year.

Nice, stocked, & clean

Nice house w/ great, open layout. The cleaning crew is fantastic - we actually had a clean floor. Normally, our socks & feet are quickly dirty (at other houses), but even after spending most days inside due to storms, it was finally not the case. The rest of the house was also well kept. The owners live next door & are helpful & quick to respond. The mattresses are very, very firm. The master has a king but the other two beds seem to be fulls rather than queens (smaller than our queens at least). The kids loved the bunk room & picnic table. While we bring & use our own dishes/cooking supplies, the kitchen is very well-stocked. The same goes for the house in general. Access to the garage was helpful. Taking the path makes for an easy 12-min. walk to the beach & it’s only 3-5 min. to the pool/clubhouse/playground. This was our first time not having a private pool so we took the kids to the community pool during a couple of breaks from the rain. There was a large group of people smoking pot in the hot tub one evening, which was not what we would usually expect in Destiny East, especially around so many kids. The clubhouse no longer allows food/drinks in the movie theater. The projector was broken, ending our movie early. They are working on replacing it, but ask before reserving. We did not use the gym this trip. We enjoyed & would recommend Destiny Hideaway.

House and golf cart were great and we have stayed in this neighborhood for six consecutive years now and love it. I booked for my wife and I along with three of my children because my oldest had other plans which fell through the week before so we ended up bringing her and her boyfriend (7 ppl total, house occupancy 8ppl). I got a text from owner shortly after we arrived wanting a count of my total party which let me know we were being actively watched on security system which made me a little uncomfortable. I explained the situation and venmo’d the $280 for extra occupancy no big deal. The first night I got a ticket for parking on the street which was my bad so I Venmo’d the owner the $50 with my apologies and said it wouldn’t happen again. Then a couple hours later the owners are knocking on the door to discuss my party size and parking which we have already resolved over text. Two days later I’m parked in the driveway and my bumper was approximately 6 inches over sidewalk and owner sends me a text complete with picture showing my violation so I came back from the beach to move my vehicle up 6 inches. I received correspondence from the owner every day about one small thing or the other. Personally when I spend 5K for a week rental I really just want to be left alone and enjoy my vacation with as few distractions as possible. The previous 5 years we have stayed in destiny east I’ve not had any contact with the owner outside of check in/out which I prefer.

Destiny East Hide-a-way

Beautiful, well-furnished home with 3 BR’s and kids room with bunks and play table. Wonderful screened porch with patio and back yard for kids to play. Very short walk to pool, playground and tennis courts. Big plus is the 8 person golf cart. Owners are so responsive to any questions issues. We will definitely stay here again!!

We first moved to Destin in 1999 as a young military family stationed at Eglin AFB, and we bought our home in Destiny East. We loved it so much we kept it, renting it out when we were stationed at other bases and moving back in when we were luckily stationed at Eglin again. We are now retired from the military and are back for good. Our family of four has stayed at many vacation rentals throughout the world so we know how comforting it is to have all the amenities of home while traveling. We decided to become vacation rental owners ourselves and bought a house in our neighborhood so we could host travelers in our beautiful city of Destin.

Situated in a cul-de-sac in a gated community, Destiny Hideaway is not only safe but conveniently located to everything the neighborhood of Destiny East and the city of Destin has to offer! Destiny East's amenities - pool, tennis/pickleball/basketball courts, playground, fitness center and more - are a short walk away. A shortcut path will take you to the south gate and then you're only a 1/2 mile from the beach! Drive out the north gate to find Destin's famous shopping centers and restaurants... one mile to the west is Destin Commons and 3.5 miles to the east is the Silver Sands Outlet Mall - with tons of boutiques and restaurants along the way.
