Discover and experience this charming and attractive region with this special vacation home as a starting point. The house has a great location on a sunny plot overlooking the beautiful surroundings. It has an alcove and a beautiful garden where you can relax and play outside. The area is peaceful and sparsely populated with good opportunities for many different activities and excursions. There are good fishing conditions in the fjord and the cottage is a good starting point if you are interested in fishing and hiking in the forests and mountains. A tour to Svelgabreen in Blådalen is recommended, the glacier is part of Folgefonna National Park. If you want to fish for trout in the mountain water, there are good opportunities for it in the area. Only five minutes by car from the house there is a swimming area and a great barbecue hut. From the cottage you can also make day trips to Husnes and Rosendal. In Husnes there is a golf course and a shopping center. In Rosendal you can visit Norway's only barony, Baronie Rosendal, stone park and one of Norway's few putball courts. In Rosendal it is also worth visiting the exciting Folgefonna Center and the Guddal Gallery with art exhibitions. A little further from the cottage there are also numerous excursion possibilities. For example, we recommend the spectacular Trolltunga rock formation and the cozy family park Mikkelparken.
