Idyllic cottage Sweden for 3 (-4) persons with terrace and a great garden!

We rent our centrally located, cozy cottage in Sweden Witten-Bommern one bedroom 3 (-4), small kitchen bedroom and bathroom / hallway. It is located in the idyllic garden of an old villa with a separate entrance. Covered sun terrace and garden sharing

Ideally located cottage for 3 (-4) people, in an idyllic location with a large garden and some animals (2 rabbits, cats, some chickens and a rooster in the immediate vicinity -> Oropax recommended for sensitive sleepers :-), pets (dogs because keep the pets in the garden on a leash, sufficient outlet in the area).

Nevertheless, only 1.5 km from the center of Witten / train station with very good access to other towns to enjoy culture and the Ruhr area. Just 150 meters from the Ruhr valley bicycle path and about 6km from Kemnader reservoir, directly at the nature reserve and near the town of Bochum Muttental with its pubs (Bermuda Triangle), Art and Culture (Schauspielhaus). The ideal starting point for exploring the Ruhr Tripps or just spend a few quiet days of rest.

Within walking distance are post office, pharmacy, bakery, bank, supermarket, flower shop and several restaurants, including a pizzeria. The bus stop is within walking distance in 2 minutes.

Depending on the agreement also breakfast can be offered. Similarly, bicycles can be rented if needed.

In the immediate vicinity is the pier of the 'Swallow', which invites the weekend and on Sundays and holidays to relaxing boat trips to Kemnade.
Only 100m there are the stop of the heritage railway, the Sundays and holidays between Bochum and Hattingen commutes (highly recommended!).
Parking is available directly in sufficient numbers at the house.

The Kemnade, just 6km away, is the center of numerous events such. As the Ruhr Tent Festival, and offers boat and bicycle rental, a mini golf course and very well-maintained paths separated for walkers, cyclists and inline skaters. Since the lake is located on the Route of Industrial Heritage, visits can be well connected with excursions into the history of mining, shipping or train in the Ruhr area.

A visit to the Mining Museum in Bochum city center or the railway museum in Bochum-Dahlhausen, with its historical train through the Ruhr valley, is ideal for route planning. But the slightly more distant Blankenstein Castle overlooking the Ruhr Valley and the house Kemnade are worthwhile destinations. Since the RuhrtalRadweg leads us along (150m), this Nearby attractions can also plan very well as a bike tour.

By bike or on foot very easy to reach is the obvious Muttental with the old castle ruins Hardenstein or the recreational area Hohenstein.
