Relaxing time

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything. Exactly as promised. Beautiful and relaxing spot on the lake. Easy to get in touch with the owner. John always answered me right away. Thank you John Paul for a great experience.

A little paradise in Seattle

We visited Seattle for a wedding and deciding to turn our trip into a family vacation. We were so lucky to find this amazing house by the lake in Lynnwood, WA. John Paul is an amazing host and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a fun and relaxing time in Seattle. We will definitely be back!! The only down side was having to leave! šŸ˜Šthank you John Paul!!!

Beautiful lake property

This was a peaceful setting with plenty of outdoor things to do - grassy area for games, many boats, firepit, patio tables, seating and fire fixture.

Lovely vacation

Loved the location and being on the lake. House was very nice with a great patio. Lots of water toys. Water temperature was great along with good weather. Enjoyed feeding the ducks. Patio and house had everything. Had a great vacation here with my family. Hope to be back.

Nice place on the lake, VERY responsive host

We enjoyed our stay. The unit is as pictured, right on a lake, and we enjoyed use of the kayak. My wife is short and couldn't reach the microwave or shelf in the closet. John Paul brought over a step stool and a chest of drawers the same day we mentioned this!

Absolutely Beautiful

We were so impressed by our stay hear that we're already talking about going back. The lake was so beautiful. Clear, warm, clean water with lily-pads near the shore that would bloom with white and pink flowers each morning. John Paul is very generous and had paddle boards, boats, and floats for us to use. The back patio had plenty of seating for lounging around near the hot-tub and fire pit. The house was comfy and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing vacation.

Lake Serene Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem and we absolutely loved our stayā€¦wish it couldā€™ve been longer!!! The house is just as itā€™s pictured online and itā€™s just lovely as well as the outdoor patio and beach/yard area!!! Also, the spa overlooking the lake is wonderful! Everything one would need in a kitchen is provided including a Keurig with pods and creamer and necessities are provided as well! In addition, you have access to paddle boards, a kayak, and a paddle boat to use on the lake! John Paul responded to any questions asked in a timely manner and was so nice! This is a place I will visit again!!!

Great Water Toys

This was a good getaway for our extended family. It is a short drive from Seattle. There was indoor and outdoor table seating for six. There were plenty of SUPs, a paddle boat, a double kayak and a canoe so everyone could get on the water. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Created lasting memories

Our family had an AMAZING time. This was a much needed getaway. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, paddle-boarding and paddle-boating some of us for the first time :) The host thought of everything, there was a closet with games, extra towels, an air mattress, extra pillows and blanket. It was so nice even to be in the house making food in the kitchen, while watching the family enjoy the lake. All and all a great time. Looking forward to staying there again.

Private lake access

We loved the property. Inside was clean, quiet and comfortable. Outside we had private access to the lake and all the fun lake equipment we could ask for. My kids and I loved canoeing and paddle boarding all over that lake. There was even a family of ducks with several baby ducks that would join us when we went outside. I also enjoyed using the hot tub when it was cooler in the evenings. The host was responsive and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

All bases covered for fun in the sun with family

The property was well equipped with necessary things to have fun in the water and on land. The washer and dryer were great so we did not have to take our personal wet clothes and towels home. I could not have asked for a better land layout for the young children to play safely in the water and on dry land. We spent 90% of our time outside THANKS

Beautiful yard, wonderful hosts, perfect spot for adults or families with kids!

We absolutely loved our time at this lovely home on, aptly named, lake Serene. I really didnā€™t expect a home in the city to be this calm and picturesque. A truly wonderful getaway for those who ā€œneed to get awayā€ whether they live near or far. We enjoyed using the various boats and water toys and yard games that were available for guest use and the hotttub was lovely and stayed at a nice hot temperature. The inside of the unit is clean and spacious and very comfortable. Our family of 3 had more space than we needed and could have easily shared this space with another small family or couple. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. They responded immediately when an unexpected issue arose with one of the appliances and had a repair person out right away to fix it. We enjoyed our weekend so much that we ended up extending our stay to a full week! My kids are already begging to go back and we very well may. Would highly recommend this place!
