Iconic Raised Center Hall Villa in the Lower Garden District. One of the oldest surviving in the area, being brought back by noted preservationists to its intended use as a family home. It remains a decadent working project. Beautifully unfinished yet completely intoxicating from the moment you enter with it's ethereal rooms and grounds. A true Grand Center Hall with original floors and 14' ceilings, enormous open porches and balconies. Feeling forgotten by time yet all modern conveniences at your fingertips. Completely unique, even for New Orleans. We look forward to hosting you for that special occasion visit to New Orleans, especially if you are looking to stay someplace completely different and special. A selection of coffee and tea as well as a welcome basket of artisanal cheeses, crackers and baked goods are complimentary during your stay. *Please note that we have a one week minimum during the following holidays/special events: Mardi Gras, Easter, Jazz Fest Wednesday - Wednesday and Christmas.

Staying here was an absolute highlight of our trip. The property is a breathtaking 1800s mansion that immediately impresses — it’s the kind of place that wows everyone in your group the moment you walk in. And beyond the stunning architecture, it was spotlessly clean throughout our stay.What truly set this experience apart was the owners. The hosts were great-- very welcoming, helpful, and accessible when needed. The house is amazing--beautiful with a spooky undertone which was the perfect setting for a New Orleans visit! There is so much cool stuff to do in New Orleans and a part of me just wanted to stay and hang out in this incredible house. The house has been featured in several movies, including Deep Water and Ben Affleck, who stars in the movie, walked on the same floors you'll walk on-- pretty cool!

Perfect Pool

The historic massive house was lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative and had amazing local recommendations. But our group appreciated the pool the most. While staying in NOLA in the middle of June, it was the perfect mid-day reprieve from the heat. Highly recommend this property!

This historic home is a retreat. It is quiet, calming, well appointed, and charming in its effort to maintain its original construction and style. The home had ample space for our extended family gathering and allowed privacy for each of us as needed. Our host, Will, was attentive and worked hard to be helpful and make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. This home is an experience in and of itself, but it is also situated to enjoy the many and varied options in activity and food that New Orleans has to offer.

Fantastic weekend

We had a family getaway and this property was amazing! Comfortable, historic home with beautiful modern upgrades was wonderful. Great location for all the things we wanted to see and do, and owners were absolutely the definition of Southern hospitality. New Orleans never disappoints and Urbania House was dreamy!

NOLA for ERAS Tour

This property is super cool! Was great to learn about its history directly from the owners during check in. The pool was such a great bonus. If you want to stay somewhere historic in New Orleans this is a great option and the hosts were so friendly! The location is perfect for a family, close enough to all the action with a 5 min Uber ride but in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We loved it!

The property is an antique Greek Revival that has been used in major movies taking place in New Orleans. It is great to be immersed in this historic place while bathing in all that the city as to offer. Host were wonderfully accommodating and available.

Memorable home for a memorable birthday

Great home for 3-5 couples to spend a long weekend in and about NOLA. Great walking access to the FQ and garden district. Loved sitting on the front and back porches in the breeze. Loved the history of the home. Great owner hospitality and restaurant recommendations. Thanks Banks and Jules!

Urbania house is an Amazing space

William and Jules are the best hosts! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Checking and out were so easy. The property was wonderful and so comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable to shops and restaurants. Would 100% stay here again! If you are planning a group trip this is where you need to stay!

Incredible home with a great host!

We had a unforgettable trip to New Orleans thanks to this incredible home and generous host. Banks immediately made us feel welcome and was always available to answer our questions and offer recommendations. The location was perfect. It was a close walk to great cafes and shops. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed cooking meals in the amazing kitchen and eating them on the lovely porch. If we go back to NOLA we would definitely stay at this house again!

CHARMING HOME IN A CONVENIENT NEIGHBORHOOD

William and Jules provided our family with an excellent stay in Nola. Their home is filled with furniture, fixtures and all sorts of unique details collected to create a one of a kind stay. Various parts of the home are a work in process, but that did not take away from what we found to be a comfortable and unique environment in a safe and remarkably convenient neightborhood. We look forward to returning.

Perfection!

Loved staying at this historic home. It was everything I thought it would be. Big, beautiful and unique. The hosts Jules and William were awesome. Very hospitable and kind. I would recommend this wonderful house to anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful , unique New Orleans home. It made our trip with family so much better.

Family Gathering to Celebrate College Graduation

Such a wonderful experience provided by our hosts. From the moment we were welcomed by William to the lovely flowers and home baked chocolate cake by Patsy waiting for us in the kitchen, we knew we’d selected the right home for this special occasion. The home has character and charm and is nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. This house truly is a piece of old New Orleans but with the comforts of the modern day. I can’t recommend this house or the hosts enough. A solid 10 in my book.
