Country Relaxing Just 2Miles from Main Street

Located on 24 acres just two miles from main street in Fredericksburg Texas. Enjoy the fresh air and scenery in the country overlooking a two acre tank while you relax on the covered balcony. Watch the sun rise with your morning cup of coffee as the humming birds and cardinals fly by. Watch the deer cross over to drink from the tank where the ducks enjoy swimming. You may even find the mother duck nesting close to the water. All of this and the city within reach!
2MILES 2MAIN is located on the second story of the properties main home. The entire second story will be yours to enjoy. You have your own designated parking along with your own private entrance to a spacious, newly designed, two bedroom, two bath with two living areas. Your private entrance welcomes you into the coffee bar and eating area. This area is stocked with complimentary snacks and is equipped with a keurig coffee maker and all the coffee supplies you need. The fridge is stocked with water and complimentary sodas. It is a split floor plan with both bedrooms having king size beds and large screen Smart TV's. The sofa's in each living room are queen size Tempur Pedic sleeper sofa's.
2MILES 2MAIN will sleep up to eight comfortably with approval from the owner/host. Additional charges may apply.

Just a few things to note:
It is necessary to climb stairs to the second floor where the guest suites are located. Be mindful that the homeowners who are hosting live on the bottom floor.

The home sets behind the Backyard Theater. When there are live concerts you will be able to hear the music. Check the schedule of the Backyard Theater to find out if there is a concert scheduled.

Quiet, serene beautiful property close to downtown Fredericksburg. Loved watching deer and ducks from the balcony. The host had thoughtful touches of hospitality to make the stay more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at 2Miles 2Main. The upstairs was surprisingly large, updated and cozy. The view from the balcony was lovely and it was far enough away from the road to be peaceful. We hope to go back soon.

Great way to stay near Fredericksburg --

This wonderful place just about defines a 5 star property! Everything is first class inside and out. The property is sort of arranged as two apartments, each very private with individual hang-out space, bedroom, bath. The view from the deck and firepit sitting area is so beautiful, looking over the tank. Plus, the sunrise, and also the night sky, are just wonderful if, like us, you live in a city. Note -- the communal area with the mini-fridge, coffee service and table is not a kitchen -- no sink, or water. No bowls for cereal or other things .. Just plan for that if you are thinking of having breakfast, or pre-dinner snacks and drinks. Our host graciously provided what we needed. The hosts could not have been more generous and welcoming .. We were grateful for how Sheila responded to anything we needed. Defilnitely would be hard to beat this property for a place to stay in Fredericksburg!!

Very nice

Beautiful property!! It was better than what we expected. It would have better to have a kitchen sink and larger refrigerator with a freezer! Other than that we have nothing but positive things!! We loved seeing all the wildlife. Loved seeing the baby calf that had just been born that morning and watching deer! It was close enough to town that it didn't take long to go to wineries and shopping!! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Getaway

2miles2main is a fantastic place to relax being in a country setting and also enjoy being close to downtown Fredericksburg. It’s the best of both worlds. The owners are quick to respond, friendly and very helpful. Their place is welcoming, very comfortable and spotless. The deck was the best place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We plan to go back as soon as possible.

Amazing view, comfy beds

It was an amazing experience. The place WS sjust a described, Sheila was very good about communicating about the direction and gate info. The inside of the place was perfectly laid out. Will forsure be back!

Fredericksburg Wine Trail Weekend

We enjoyed staying at this rental property because it was peaceful, close to Main Street and very nicely furnished for two couples. No kitchen, but the coffee maker and mini fridge was handy. Would have been better with a microwave, but overall we were pleased with the accommodations.

Amazing stay with Fantastic Scenery!

We had a wonderful experience at Two Miles to Main. Shelia and her Husband did an amazing job making sure our stay was enjoyable. From the luxury linens to the complimentary snacks it was top notch. It was so peaceful to be able to wake up to an incredible view of their pond and see all of the animals grazing. I absolutely loved the idea of renovating with an industrial exterior and traditional interior look. Both interior and exterior cleanliness was immaculate! Bathroom and sleeping space is plentifully and well thought out. The only thing I would add is a full length mirror for us girls that like to primp. We will definitely be back!!

Serene restful comfort

Location, location, location. It’s unbeatable, especially if you are desiring a serene get away. It is 2 miles 2 Main and so much more. The attention to detail and comfort is like a 5-star hotel, beautiful property inside and out. Sheila and Ken are genuine and hospitable hosts with a great vision for 2Miles2Main. Tranquility at its finest...

If you are searching for tranquility located within a peaceful and wonderfully expansive house and property, then you owe it to yourself to visit 2Mile 2Main with hosts Sheila & Ken who are two of the most hospitable and nicest people that you will ever encounter. You can feel their sincerity. The inviting hospitality of the rooms mixed with perfect sunrises, sunsets and cool breezes will leave you in awe. You are at one with nature. It is that good.

Relaxing

A rest and rejuvenation getaway, very quiet and relaxing. Check in was painless and our hosts Shiela and Ken were charming and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Having a glass of wine watching the sunset was a huge plus. Overall, a wonderful experience
