Great location. True ski in/out. Cabin was clean, elegant with up to date amenities. Management was easily accessible and quick to reply. Lots of space for our group of 7.

Awesome winter stay

The cabin is lovely and the location was amazing for skiing. The hot tub was a great asset after a day of skiing!

Excellent family vacation at this chalet. Great location. Management company responsive to initial issues that we had upon arrival making for a positive experience for the remainder of the stay

Great place to stay

Perfect ski-in, ski-out location. The ability to take a quick break and get back to skiing was great. The well stocked kitchen made cooking easy. Relaxing by the fire inside or at the fire table outside or even in the outdoor hot tub was a real treat. Add in heated floor and a steam shower and you’ve got the perfect location for a ski getaway.

Mountain bike long weekend.

The property was as advertised which is always nice when renting. The 3 bedrooms downstairs are a bit tight but the main floor living area and the spacious deck more than make up for that. Nice long dining tables both inside and on the deck. Great access to lifts.

Fernie Trip

Overall, we were quite satisfied with the cabin. The only thing I'll mention is doing a little more dusting of the property. Other than that, everything else was very good. Thank You.

"Suuuuper nice!"

Lovely home directly under Elk Chair, and yet very private. Ski in/ski out so great, especially with little ones, so we could walk in 10 minutes (little kid speed) to lessons. What a treat! Kitchen reasonably well supplied, except for veg peeler. Hot tub hug hit! (but could use a few more towels). No games or books on site and only basic cable vision so bring your own entertainment. Would definately come back again! THANKS!

Snow Creek Cabins (#504)

This is a beautiful log home in a great location at Fernie Alpine Resort. The home furnishings are well appointed - furniture, bedding/tons of towels and bed linens/extra pillows provided; kitchen appliances- Sub Zero fridge, Heartland gas range and another wall oven in the island, Monogram microwave, kitchen aid mixer etc. There is a separate area in the kitchen that functions as a bar- sink/wine and beverage fridge, which is a nice addition to the space. There is ample seating in the living area, a large dining room table, and a small tv beside the fireplace. It would have been nice for the home to have a small collection of board games etc. The kitchen cabinets are mounted very high, requiring a step stool to access anything above the first couple shelves so if you are shorter than 5 ft 6”, plan to use the stool to reach into the cabinets to reach the glasses/dinnerware etc. The home was a good size for two families of 4. The outdoor space had a table large enough for 12 to be seated for a meal conveniently located right off of the kitchen, a fire table and Weber bbq, as well as Adirondack chairs to seat 6. We did have to request a propane tank as there was not one at the house when we checked in so were unable to use the fire table on the first night. We stayed at the house during a heat wave with temps up to 35c- take note that this home does not have air conditioning or ceiling fans. They did provide a handful of fans but the house was still quite warm, especially the main and second level. We brought along a portable a/c unit which helped a lot… not sure we could have tolerated the warmth in the house had we not brought it along. Upon check in, the home was very dusty (floors, hard surfaces through the house and outdoors). We did communicate with the management company, and the individual was very prompt at replying. The communication was very clear including the emails sent prior to the stay with check in directions etc. We definitely enjoyed our stay. We have spent a lot of time in the Fernie area over the past 20 years, and are very familiar with the mountain and this location is certainly great for both summer and winter stays!

This place was clean, beautiful all log cabin! Steam shower upstairs was the best!! Hot tub was clean and hot and running properly which was so nice. True ski in ski out location

Ski in ski out

True ski in ski out, bathrooms are beautiful , covered deck and bbq so nice. Hot tub was well kept and clean. The manager of the property was very accommodating and great to deal with.

The guest did not leave a reason for the 2 stars however there was an issue with an empty propane tank and she called the on call agent for assistance and the issue was resolved. Later that evening the guest had to be contacted regarding a noise complaint from the neighbours. And she was not happy with the quality of the toilet paper.

I am assuming this one star is due to the fact the hot tub water had to be dumped and refilled during the guest's stay due to overuse by his group resulting in the water being unsanitary. I appreciate that he was upset that he could not use the hot tub for one evening as a result but our technicians are well trained and know when the water is no longer usable. Their logs show that the tub was serviced the day before the guest's arrival and was not used by anyone else. His review is certainly unreasonable as he had no other complaints or issues during his stay.
