On the beach nearby you will experience beautiful sunsets. The landscape created by glaciers is varied. You live close to the bird sanctuary and the heath of Vesterlyng. Golf courses, fishing lakes, cutters for fishing trips from Havnsø. Also take the ferry from Havnsø to Sejerø and Nekselø. Sejerø has beautiful nature, burial mounds and a church with frescoes. On the other island you can go hiking and bird watching. Also visit Dragsholm Castle, one of the many castles in the area, where the Jarl of Bothwell was imprisoned and a lady was walled in. Also the many churches from the Middle Ages with their frescoes as well as the church Voer Frue in Kalundborg with its 5 towers are worth a visit. Art museums and many art galleries complete the picture. A trip to Sommerland Sjælland is really something for the whole family, where there is a Miniland, an Actionland and a swimming pool. Furthermore, Odsherred Zoo, Fantasy World and BonBon Land near Næstved, which is a huge amusement park for the young and old, and Copenhagen with countless attractions, including the famous Tivoli, are only an hour's drive from the house.
