La Ferme du Cortet is a beautiful stone farmhouse for 12 guests, with four bedrooms and three shower rooms. It has been carefully renovated to preserve its unique character while providing guests with all the space and facilities they need for a wonderful Alpine holiday.

The property is just 2km from Thônes and 12km from the Aravis ski resorts of La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod, making it a great base for a winter ski holiday but also a great base for a summer holiday with 15km from Annecy's lake.

Inside, there's a great choice of communal spaces - let off steam in the games room, enjoy a drink in the bar area, enjoy a quiet conversation or a book in the mezzanine reading nook or watch a film in the TV room. Of course you can all get together to eat around the dining table!

With four bedrooms (two en suite) and a third bathroom, there's plenty of room upstairs too. Children will love the bunk room for six, although it's equally suited as a family room.

We think La Ferme du Cortet offers something quite unique for a group of friends of families looking for a real taste of the Alps!

Anyone swimming in the pond will be responsible for their own safety. The owner will accept no responsibility for any incident. Children need to be supervised in and around the pond (around 170cm deep).

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

A Family Getaway Surrounded by Nature

A Spacious Home Perfect for a Family Getaway

Cozy family stay

The house is perfect for a large family. It is well-equipped and spacious, with kid-friendly surroundings and within a reasonable drive from the city. The whole house atmosphere feels very cozy for wintertime and for spending quality time together. Loved our days spent in this one.

It’s a beautiful and large house in a great location for skiing. Kids had lots of things to do indoors and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was set up for a comfortable stay.

Cycling paradise, great time.

We (8 adults) loved the house and environment during our cycling holiday! The house was in a marvelous environment, very well furnished and everything was amply stocked. We had a great time, rested in the garden and used the BBQ and grill.

Tranquil countryside retreat

The holiday home is fantastic, lovingly furnished and excellently equipped. There is a pond, ducks, a dog, and a stream in the huge grounds. The house has a pool room, table football, and darts. Beautifully situated in the countryside and Gille was the perfect host.

This is a fantastic property in a beautiful setting which provides a brilliant base to explore Lake Annecy and the surrounding area. We were two families (5 and 4) and the farmhouse provides lots of comfortable living space and loads of outdoor space. The children particularly enjoyed the Pool and Football table and they also enjoyed swimming in the pond! Everything was finished to a high standard and we had everything we needed! We loved the horses and dog that were on the farm too! Excellent communication from the owner Giles. We had such a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend!

A Peaceful Retreat Perfect for Large Groups

The farm is located in a quiet, isolated place. The garden is huge, with a nice pétanque track and a lovely pond where we actually took morning swims now and then. The house is extremely well equipped, with plenty of space and lots of rooms where you can have fun, read, watch TV, and so on. I definitely recommend it for large groups (we were 6 adults and 4 children aged 10 to 17), and it was just great. Gilles, the host, and his dad were always very prompt in accommodating our requests. Overall, an amazing place, and we were truly sorry to leave.

We had the most wonderful time at the house.

We had the most wonderful time at the house. It was perfect for us - we were a large group wanting to split our time between the lake and mountains. Gilles was very responsive and helpful. The house and garden were absolutely great. There was loads to keep everyone occupied - from the pool table, table football to the little stream next to the house. The kids loved playing outside and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful house.

Chalet charmant avec activités

Très bon moment entre amis, même si le temps n'était pas au rendez-vous, les activités au sein du chalet ont permis de compenser. De plus, le petit étang est magnifique, les chevaux et le chien sur la propriété apportent un vrai plus pour un séjour dépaysant.
