Water's Edge - SUSQUEHANNA RIVER - Water's Edge is located on the River, at the head of Goodyear Lake. This 3 bedroom home has a large lawn and a private dock for fishing and swimming. The waterway here is ideal for paddle sports. Canoe, kayak, and standup paddleboard rentals are available just downriver.

This waterfront home is convenient to all baseball tournaments in the area. It is about 10 minutes to the Dreams Park and 15 -18 minutes to All Atar Village. The quiet location is a small side road - just off the main road (NYS Rt 28).

Guests enjoy the fresh country air while relaxing on the screened-in porch overlooking the riverfront or in the screened-in gazebo in the yard.

The kitchen and two baths were recently remodeled. A 1st-floor queen bedroom and 2 additional 2nd-floor bedrooms complete the sleeping arrangements. Your host provides multiple option for family fun and games. There is a game room for and assorted lawn games.

Home is centrally located between Dreams and All Star Village. Back yard is great for fishing and family time. Owner is very kind and accommodating. House is as described and depicted in photos.

Everything we needed!

Water’s edge was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed.for an enjoyable week while our son played baseball. Owner was nearby and helpful but not invasive. Being on the river was a bonus, could throw a line in when games weren’t going on. Easy 8-10min drive to Dreams and about 15 to All-Star. Decent restaurants around and good pizza place that delivered.

Cozy Riverside Retreat

We were in town for a baseball tournament in Cooperstown. Great house that easily accomodated 6 of us. Close to amenities and well equipped with what you need. The game room was an added bonus especially for the rainy nights we had. Kept us all entertained. House was well maintained and clean. Will certainly book again if we find ourselves at the same baseball tournament next year.

A little slice of Paradise!

Beautiful yard on the river...lots of yard toys as well as the game room. Our 14 year old granddaughter loved fishing off the fock wiyh rr grandad. We walked the very dhort fistsnce to rent a paddleboard and a kayak for a couple of houses on the river. Close enough to All Stsr park to comd back for meals. When we were there a large boat was tied up at the dock. That was a bummer as we had to fish "around" it.

Quaint Stay on the River

Our overall experience at Water's Edge was great! The home was spacious for our 7 guests. The kitchen was well equipped with tools and appliances to make ourselves at home. The deck with a grill made for nice family BBQs. We were grateful for lots of blankets for cooler evenings. Our kids enjoyed the game room with the ping pong and foosball tables. The outside property was a great space for whiffle ball. The view of the river was lovely. The location to Cooperstown Dreams Park was a short 10-15min drive. While the home is dated, it had everything we needed to be comfortable.

A baseball week at Cooperstown/Vacation!

We stayed at Waters Edge while my son stayed and played at Cooperstown Dream Park. We brought our younger daughter and also our baby with us and the space was the perfect place to cool off after long days at the field. Short 12 minute drive to CDP, and only a few more past that to the town of Cooperstown. My husband brought his small bass boat and definitely loved fishing in between games. The host/owner was available to answer and questions and gives you all the info you need to enjoy your stay visiting Cooperstown or where to fish. He even helped my husband with getting the boat into the water. He also allowed my parents to stay on night before they checked into a hotel the next day. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing!!!

We stayed at Waters Edge for a quick getaway and it was just what we wanted! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for the whole family to fish off of the dock or lawn, just laze around in a provided lounge chair, or go on an excursion on canoes rented right around the block. Don was extremely accommodating and we really enjoyed our time talking with him. We cannot wait to get back to the Cooperstown area, and when we go back, we will definitely be staying at Waters Edge again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Our son was playing at Cooperstown All-Star Village and it was a short drive to enjoy watching the games. The surrounding property and town is beautiful and we saw many deer when driving and walking around. Our two teen boys enjoyed being on the river and it made for a beautiful backdrop for the sunset and sunrise! The property owner was very hospitable and the property was clean and had anything you might need. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone that will be attending Dreams Park or All-Star Village because it is right in between the two.
