This lakefront lodge sits just steps away from Lake Erie within the State Park area. Only a 5-minute drive to the famous “Strip” of Geneva on the Lake.
Wake up to stunning views and the sounds of waves crashing in the morning.
This has been a family-owned home for over 50 years that we continue to enjoy on the weekends and we would love to share it with your family. Events are welcome but must be approved in advance.
With many renovations this year, including new flooring and painting in several rooms, moderate kitchen updates and 10new Adirondack chairs and a solo stove, you and your family are sure to enjoy your stay.
The home comfortably sleeps 14 with a master bedroom on the first floor (Queen) and 2 bedrooms (2 Queens) and a dormitory upstairs. (3 Queen, 2 Twin).
Comes fully furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen ( use of 1 refrigerator)and service for at least 20+ as well as bedding and towels (both bath and beach towels) for more than 20. The home has 3 living areas and 2 dining areas. The living areas combined can comfortably seat 18 and the dining tables can seat at least 12. Also included are outdoor games, life jackets, a grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Home comes with access to High-Speed Wi-Fi. There is sure to be everything you need to enjoy your family getaway.
Rate includes the use of 4 beds and towels for 8. An additional $50 cleaning fee will be added for groups over 8 people to cover the cost of laundering and cleaning.
*warning-there is about a 4-6 foot drop to the lake and there are no stairs. Get down to the water at your own risk. Use of neighbors stairs is prohibited.

Grape Jamboree Weekend

The house is exactly as advertised and even felt like there was more room than we expected. There are a lot of places to sleep and a lot of places to relax. Close to the GOTL strip but also a quaint location. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Time

I can't speak highly enough of this lake house. It has EVERYTHING you could need and more. It is so well maintained and decorated. The upstairs bunk room was pesrfect for all our guests while still having 2 private rooms as well. The yard and deck were perfect for corn hole, relaxing, and watching the water and sunsets. The host was gracious and checked in during our stay to make sure we had all we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Relaxing and comfortable

The home was very nice and clean. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The view of the lake from the house was spectacular. We loved sitting outside by the lake on the comfortable outdoor chairs too! We loved being so close to the park and other activities too. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Wish we could have stayed forever

We had such a great time at this property. The property was better than what we expected from the listing. Loved the fire pit practically on the lake and when it rained, the sun porch was cozy and cool. Although you cannot access the water from the yard, there is a state park with beach and boat ramp minutes away. There’s lots to do in the area (we are from out of state so really had no idea what to expect). I wish we had more time to stay.

The location was beautiful. The only problem is there’s no bathroom upstairs so my sister and I had to sleep on the couches downstairs because the steps are so steep and small and we do a lot of up and down the stairs at night to go to the restroom because we’re old curmudgeons That probably should be clear in the descriptions, I could’ve just missed it. I don’t know everything else was great. We had a good time. My sister did end up cleaning out the windowsills and what not just because of course there’s gonna be bugs and stuff from having the windows open no big deal but the house didn’t have bugs or anything. There was bottled water, which was really nice. We brought some, but we ran out so we were able to use theirs. They also have lots of great things for younger people to use like fishing rods and stuff for the water. What not we were very relaxing and had a nice day

Lake House stay

Over all a very enjoyable stay. Clean beautiful views and lots to do in the area. Especially in the summers. It was confusing to us what we could use or not. The sign on the fridge of the owners was on the side. It did have their name in small letters on the front. Honestly, we did not realize it was a name and what it meant, until a few hours later. We ran out of soap in the bathrooms. Other places we stayed had coffees for us condiments, just all those little amenities you don't want to go buy because you'll never use the whole bottle or jar. Several even left a bottle of wine. We did use some of the k cups and bought more for us. We just didn't have those immenities upon arrival. We bought them and threw them away. It seemed like a lot of work. Another vehicle was parked up near the front door. We had to park in a line behind it and walk in much farther in the dark and rain. We kinda felt like we were intruding into their home.

Beautiful lake view

There was a group of 7 women that stayed at this home for a women's retreat. It has a beautiful lake view from many areas of the house which was really helpful as we did not get to spend much time outside as there was high winds. We were sad not to get to have a fire on the deck. The house was very clean and comfortable... there was a peaceful, homey, loved feel the minute we walked through the door. The kitchen was great, but we did see a large (commercial) refrigerator in the pictures of the house which we were excited about... but it was not there. There were two refrigerators, one for guest use and one for owners use... it took quite a bit of configuring to get everything to fit as we thought we had a lot of room for food. Even though there was no bathroom upstairs and most of us need to use it through the night... it worked well with having one at the bottom of the stairs. Appreciated having a sink upstairs to wash our face and brush our teeth. The beds were very comfortable as well. We loved our time there and appreciate Jackie working with me after I messed up on the dates. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing place!

Communication with and response time of homeowner was so fast! This property was a fabulous place for our group to stay with the number of beds - love the lake views from the back of the house! Would highly recommend.

Perfect fall getaway location

Excellent overall experience for our fall getaway. The lake view and backyard deck waterfront was the highlight. 4 couples had ample space for dining, sleeping, wonderful conversations, and playing games. We cruised the GOTL strip on our way to Ashtabula and then wineries. We could not have asked for more from a weekend outing- Thank you so much for the views and memories!

Just right!

We had a wonderful time. The host was easy to communicate with. The house was comfortable, well stocked, and details were communicated with signs throughout the home. It was a pleasure to enjoy this space. And the Lake! It’s lovely right in the back yard. The location is right next to lovely state park with trails and beaches. Searching for sea glass was a fun treasure hunt.

Beautiful, spacious lakefront home!

Our stay at this lakefront home was FANTASTIC! The home was very welcoming and inviting. It was nice that there were a couples separate, yet connected, rooms to congregate . Very spacious and enough room for large groups. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with what we needed. There are no steps to enter the kitchen and sunroom but to get to the living room and bedrooms there were 3 or 4 steps. We were extremely appreciative that the owner accepted pets into the home! The only downside was getting down to the gorgeous water. It is a 5 foot drop with no stairs, but the deck with a fire pit at the waters edge was phenomenal! I would 100% recommend this home for a vacation to the lake!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It all worked out

First let me say that we very much enjoyed our stay and would go back. However, it should be made abundantly clear in the pictures & description that although the lake is in your front yard, there is absolutely no access to it. That was a bit disappointing but we got over it. There is lake access a few minutes down the road where we were able to hang out & relax with our dog. Other than that, we have no complaints & now that we know what we're getting into, would definitely go back. The rest of the pictures are very accurate. The house is spacious, airy and well-equipped; the kitchen especially has everything you need to cook a full meal. There are sweeping lake views from every room on the lakeside of the house. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was remarkably comfortable. We checked out the upstairs bunkroom, which would be great for a group (not to mention another full view of the lake). We loved eating and relaxing on the sun porch with the sliding doors opened. It is clear the owners take pride in their property and want you to enjoy your stay and we did!

Peaceful right on the lake

We had a great relaxing stay and enjoyed our first trip to Geneva on the Lake. Beds are comfortable, lots of pillows and places to lay and relax. They were great to accommodate my late request. I was disappointed in no bath tub or hot tub and you cannot get down into the lake due to steep drop off and no steps. We slept upstairs as the master does not have a lake view.

Amazing Location

We loved staying here! The house was plenty big for the six of us, and having the lake in the backyard was spectacular. We especially loved having a fire right next to the lake on the concrete deck. The sunsets did not disappoint. Neighbors were super friendly, too. The house was extraordinarily well stocked and comfortable. We all slept well and woke up excited to be there. We couldn’t ask for more.

House on the lake

This house is located in an ideal location for enjoying all the Geneva area has to offer. First and foremost is Lake Erie in the backyard! Sun rises and sunsets fill the sunrooms with the most beautiful light. The commercial kitchen made me feel right at home and was well stocked to handle any meal. House was clean, updated, and the owner was easy to communicate with. Thank you Jackie

Lake house

Wonderful location on the lake. Lots of nice touches by the owner made everything easy to navigate. Well stocked kitchen. RUKU TVs in every room. 12 beds upstairs, 8 in an open dormitory type setting adjacent to 2 small bedrooms. No upstairs bathroom however. Would gladly stay there again.
